Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I've been trying to cancel my membership for over 10 days. After spending hours trying to get through, I was finally told my insurance and membership would be cancelled. A few days later, I received an email saying my membership would renew automatically. I called again and waited over 20 minutes with no answer.
It's incredibly easy to take customers' money, but apparently very difficult to process a simple cancellation. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had. I definitely would not recommend AA to anyone.

Your response is not helpful. The link you sent is for UK customers and does not allow me to cancel my Irish AA Membership. It simply tells me to call the Irish support number—which I have already done multiple times. Today alone I waited over 30 minutes with no answer.

I've already emailed twice requesting cancellation, and you already have all of my details. Why should customers have to waste hours just trying to cancel? Taking out a membership is easy, but cancelling it seems almost impossible.

Very disappointing customer service.

I began my search for car insurance…

I began my search for car insurance based on cost but soon realised that the "extras" included in the AA policy were in fact standard as part of their policy. The cost was very competitive & arranging it was simplicity itself.

Easy to set up

Easy to set up. My parents wanted paper copies of documents as they are not on the computer. Messaging to request this was very simple and quick on the chat service.

Use money supermarket

Thank to money supermarket a number of your products cam up automatically, I compared what product offered, compared to my renewal quote from my existing provider, the product was slightly better, but the cost was much cheaper.

Better deal

AA gave me a good deal through MoneySupermarket so I switched from my current provider who wanted to charge me £100 more than last year. It appears to be because my husband died (he was named driver) and I became the registered owner of the car. Can't understand the reasoning.

The car insurance cover offer was…

The car insurance cover that was offered was at a very competitive price and the extras that were included as standard would have cost me considerably more if I'd taken out cover with some of the other companies.
Overall I'm very happy to be covered by the AA.

Best we could find

This actually the best score of any for actually finding and buying a policy. At least the price did not increase between the 'buy now' and payment screens like several other companies did. I was looking for a new company because previous one had increased prices by 28% since last year. It took 8 hours, will try AA first in future.
