EFFICIENT AND FREINDLY OPERATIVE

A great mobile service that got the job done in replacing the screen in good time, and with care.

Initially this was meant to be a remove and refit job to fix the seals. Unfortunately, the windscreen had to be changed instead at a higher expense. I was warned this could happen so I accepted it and the new windscreen was fitted fine. However, after the fitting, I started to notice the most awful reflections and glare from incoming vehicles.

When I asked if this could be fixed a technician came over to sit in the car and say he was not sure what to say. I was asked for more pictures (I wish I could attach here) and links and explanations were sent to simply say it is normal and it is your car's dashboard.

The fact that I had no issues at all before the new screen was fitted was explained by saying that a new windscreen will have more reflections. Well, they should not be this bad.

Apparently the new windscreen is an OE, AGC Automotive, and therefore should be of good quality. It is not however the original make - Saint-Gobain Sekurit. Smile Windscreen will not do anything therefore to try and solve the issue.

They had the cheek to tell me that I don't seem to accept and grasp the facts!

Had a really good experience and the company was very patient with me as I had to reschedule a few times. Someone came initially to fix my windscreen but couldn’t due to another issue that I had to fix first and I was not charged a call out fee. I also loved that the service was mobile and they visit you at your address because my car was un drivable due to the glass damage.

Smile were on site changing my windscreen within 24 hours of my initial phone call. The job was done well and the price was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

But I would have preferred to have been addressed as Mr Edwards rather than ' mate'. As I am old enough to be his grandfather.

I highly recommend smile windscreens. They helped me source a windscreen for my 24 year old car and supplied and fitted around my busy work day. From the first call all the way up until fitting I could not fault them and I will recommend and be using them going forward thank you 👍
