In my experience, they are absolutely the best. I've got so many positive outcomes from customer support, I never felt that someone actually cares, but they are.
I've tried a couple of local banks in Ireland and they absolutely horrible. For example, AIB uses that stu&id outdated calculator with a physical card to confirm any SEPA transfer, this amazingly bad mobile app with a 1k transfer limit, also you need to unblock the payment through the call very often.
The local banks should pass away with their almost zero techs advancing.
While with Revolut I have easy payments, transfers and very useful support that actually cares.

Awful and arrogant customer service with the ethics of an offshore bookmaker!
Be aware of that company. Difficult to get mortgage approval or a loan if you use revolut. Customer service is useless. They can freeze your account for no reason and you'll have to waste time and nerves to get your money back. Avoid like a plague!

Since 21 Nov 2022, I have been trying to get a refund from a merchant but have yet to be successful, as Revolut has been declining my refund repeatedly with no reasoning whatsoever.
Revolut continues pushing the issue to the merchant's connection even though my transaction refund has been declined from Revolut's end.
I have never had issues with the merchant's refund, and Revolut fails to take accountability for this issue.
Their customer service is unhelpful and dismissive. I chatted with Walled, Mike, David, Owais, Zubair, Rabail, Rita and Niya, and these last two agents have not even talked to me, they just threw those huge pre-made texts. They already "knew" the case and left the chat without proper customer service.
Appalling.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Very low charges. Great for travelling. Phone app is a breeze to use never gives trouble and online transfers seem to be very secure always requiring authentication (which is an easy step on the app).

Sometimes they just don't pay and create issues
I had activated Revolut because was a VISA card, but it is unreliable.
They just refused many automated payments which resulted in loss of memberships and fines for unpaid tolls.
Instead informing about potential risks, they just don't pay... very poor management.
I am switching to other services with Mastercard just because I must be sure that payments are made timely.
