At first it seemed a lot of mucking around with paperwork needed to be attached , but within 4 hours of lodging I received confirmation email with a settlement for the full amount , Due to constant problems with italian car rental companies, always looking to exact something from you regardless of no fault of your own .

I due to a medical emergency, cancelled flight, auto rental, travel insurance and rental protection via Priceline. Everyone refunded money accept Rental COver
I received a message to contact them. to do so they ask for my email to log in to complete the claim, I did this before writing this review, I did it again after receiving their response. Five times and they did not email me a code so as to sign-in. This is very frustrating. I have the proof that they owe me a refund, but unable to provide said info due to thier web site.

Complete scam! Avoid "Full Protection" - Rejects claims based on impossible conditions.
I purchased RentalCover’s "Full Protection" for my car rental with SIXT in Montenegro, thinking I was covered. During the rental, the car sustained a minor single-vehicle cosmetic scratch against a curb. SIXT exploited this minor incident and charged me a staggering €720.00 EUR!
When I filed a claim with RentalCover (Ref: DMMV-MSGP-INS), they declined it simply because I didn't have a police report. In what country does the police dispatch officers to issue an official accident report for a minor paint scratch on a curb? It is a completely impossible condition designed solely to evade paying claims.
To make matters worse, I reached out to their customer support (an agent named Jordan) to explain the situation and how the rental agent verbally misled me, but my emails have been completely ignored for days. No response, no accountability.
This "Full Protection" is a trap. They take your money instantly but hide behind impossible fine print when you actually need them. Avoid at all costs!

Scammers - I never rented a car and they took my money

I reserved a rental car on Priceline for the morning of June 19th to attend a funeral and purchased the rental car insurance through Priceline at the time of reserving the vehicle. Before I went to pick up the car, the dealership said that no cars were available until that evening. I needed to leave in the morning to get to the funeral on time, so I had to make other arrangements.
I was not aware that I was charged for the insurance, since I was never charged for the car and never picked up the car. I noticed later on my bank statement that the money was taken from me and not refunded. I reached out to support who told me how to file to get the refund, which I followed. My claim was denied. I want my $60 back.

We took out the extra insurance for our week's car hire, and it was definitely worth it. While we were on holiday, someone hit our wing mirror, and the car hire company charged us £150 for the damage.
We submitted all the required documentation, and the claim was processed quickly. The full £150 was refunded back into our account, making the whole process straightforward and hassle-free.
One thing to be aware of is Carwiz. When we arrived to collect the car, they tried to tell us that our insurance wasn't sufficient and pressured us into buying their own full insurance for an additional £240. We declined, and our existing policy covered us perfectly. I'd stay clear of Carwiz's sales tactics.

I took out Xcover when booking my car rental
I took out Xcover insurance when booking my car rental, and I am very satisfied, I recommend it 100%. During our stay in Malta, we had to pay for additional insurance on the day we picked up the car (that insurance had nothing to do with XCover, it was only from the rental desk). Unfortunately that rental desk insurance didn’t cover anything, after a tyre puncture, we had to pay 100€ for road assistance. Fortunately XCover reimbursed me the 100€ just two days after I filled the claim
