Great for all the family if you plan on multiple hires.
So far it’s great. Good price. Cover all the family even if the daughters are on their own. Haven’t had to make a claim yet 🤞 but all looks great. Worrying that they don’t cover Green Motion. Not that I’d ever hire from them again, but it would be nice to know that up front rather than find it in the small print.

Great price and renewal for 2026 was the same as last year.
Not had the need to claim yet but had a need to contact customer services on one occasion, to confirm a point, and got a satisfactory response very quickly.

Fast and convenient renewal
I have been using annual excess car hire insurance for years and it gives me a comfort and savings when turning down the hire company’s policies.
This year my hire car trip was running beyond the end of my annual policy and it was comforting to know that the auto renewal would provide continuous cover during my trip. A discount was also given.

Claimed and couldn't be happier.

I obtained all the required documents on the claim form and submitted my claim and within 48 hours the claim had been approved and the money hit my account the very next day. Very impressed with the service and swift resolution to my claim.

Good price ,but not a fan of the website. Having to dig around for what's actually covered was mildly irritating. Then when trying to pay there was such an episode regarding my billing address- I nearly bailed.
As it happens the transaction went through, but it was far from smooth.

Easy to order and pay. Half the price of the hire company insurance and for 12 months. There was an error in my details that they happily helped with. Haven’t made a claim so can’t comment on that aspect.

I cancelled this policy but I get getting emails from you saying ‘thank you for renewing your policy’, so I had to send few more emails to you cancelling my policy. It is frustrating! I hope you got it now and you cancelled this policy.

Our records show that the original email advised logging in to MyAccount to disable the auto-renewal setting. If you experienced any issues with this process, you were also able to reply directly to the email so that a member of the team could assist further.
As the auto-renewal remained active on the account, the policy renewed automatically in line with the selected settings.

I have been using this insurance company for over 4 years now and have saved a small fortune compared to taking the insurance offered by hire car companies.
Taking out the insurance has and still is pain free.
