£25 fee if you cancel within the cooling off…
If you cancel within the cooling off period, you still have to pay an arrangement fee of £25, even though everything's automated so I don't imagine there's any real cost their end... The last time I cancelled car insurance within the cooling off period I did NOT get a £25 fee, I got a full 100% refund.
EDIT - you state "We aim to be as transparent as possible and clearly disclose at the point of sale" - well I think you could be a LOT clearer, as I didn't even see that small print.

We aim to be as transparent as possible and clearly disclose at the point of sale, before a policy is purchased, that an arrangement fee will apply if the policy is subsequently cancelled once it has been arranged and administered. This information is provided before purchase so customers can make an informed decision.
We appreciate that practices can differ between insurers, including how cooling-off period cancellations are handled, and we’re sorry if this was not what you expected.

Was very very shocked that by only informing RAC of change in my office job from secretary to archivist my policy went up significantly!!! It's no wonder people don't come forward in reporting minor personal changes!!

12 hour wait with no customer service follow up
Reported at 10:15 PM rescheduled 4 times for attendance. Organised a taxi to take my wife home which failed to arrive. Recovery vehicle arrived at approx 10:30am the next morning. Left for over 12 hrs in a remote area with no facilities. The status apparently went from breakdown to priority to stranded to intervention. Reasons for delays were remoteness to Solar eclipse! So if you're going to breakdown do so in a nice easy accessible place and not after a solar eclipse! Or maybe if they can't provide cover don't take the job on and don't take out money. Also haven't received a follow up from then regarding this debacle. Good luck if you use them as you will need it

Very competitive.
Despite the site being fully automated (no human voice) the experience was trouble free from beginning to end. Everything explained fully (what was and what wasn't covered). Price was much improved on my renewal and very competitive with other quotes. Overall very satisfied.
