Auto Renewal more Expensive
My policy price went up!
As an existing customer, +15yrs NCB, and no appreciation of loyalty.
It's constantly in the news about haggling to work a better quote, but nothing. It ended up being a small amount more, so more hassle to move and start over with another insurer.
As its Internet based insurers, chatbox communications only, and impossible to get point across.
I do sort insurance weeks before renewal, but still no haggle available.
Renewal was only sent to me within the 21days to go.
I've always be told to sort it before 21days. The auto renewal email doesn't get issued to you before the 21days, so what's the point then eh?!?!
Makes it difficult to do the right thing, via best procedures (to help get the best quotes). I did my bit! A bit disappointing.

Pretty easy to buy online for…
Pretty easy to buy online for reasonable price. Bit disappointed that I couldn't have documents sent, no printer access so our son printed docs for us...all 150 pages!!!! Otherwise all okay.

very easy process
It was a very easy process to go through and all I would say is that it would be better to have had the breakdown cover as a standard and not as an add on given the rac is literally a breakdown service. Other than that it was a good experience to take out the cover I needed at the price I liked

It was quite quick and easy to arrange the insurance I was a little dubious as it was online and couldn ring a helpline number to speak to someone. I have not done insurance like this before and dont really know as yet how it pans out

Excellent policy at a very good price, found RAC due to changing cars and existing company no longer doing car insurance. Hopefully will remain with company for a few years to come.

Price very competitive and lower than my renewal. With all the extras that I had before too. Easy to set up and pick a date for the monthly payment to go out on. No other contact other than that needed so far
