Scam/Rubbish/DO NOT BUY

Scam - do not buy from this company. Similar to other reviewers, I was overcharged in USD, offered a minimal 10% discount when I requested a refund, then offered a 20% discount or full refund (which I was advised by email would be processed “immediately”). Since advising I was seeking a full refund the company has been completely unresponsive to follow ups. No refund and no product. I hope these guys get shut down soon so they stop stealing money from people.

I have followed this up numerous times by email and no response received-you have my order number). Perhaps it would be beneficial for all if I post the email correspondence with Q-bounce?

QBounce stole my money

I ordered a silent basketball from QBounce on black Friday 2024 as a Christmas present and never received the item. I contacted them and they told me they would issue a refund. I contacted them multiple times shortly after this to check on the status of the refund and was told that they had an unprecedented amount of orders and would assist me as soon as they were able to. I continued contacting them and each time I started getting the same response that my request was received and is being reviewed by the support staff but I never received any response from the company to any of my follow up emails. It is now a year later (Dec 2025) and I still haven’t received a refund yet they continue to send me text messages about their black Friday and Christmas sales. This company is a bunch of thieves.

Beware of subscription scam!!!

So disappointed I also got caught up in the subscription scam!

Wish I checked here before purchasing but what can you do.

Our credit card is now locked and going to be so inconvenient before Christmas to change our cards!

I have emailed for a refund and cancellation so will have to wait for a response.

Ordered a ball on the 12/11/25 it has…

Ordered a ball on the 12/11/25 it has arrived quickly but I have now been charged for a subscription that I was automatically signed up for without my knowledge.
I have read other reviews and replies from qbounce and you can not clearly see that there is an automatic subscription. Nowhere on my order does it say SUBSCRIPTION when looking back at all the order information.
I went to look at the website again and put an item in the cart. when you look at the cart a little popup of other things you might want comes up, HIDDEN UNDER that are 3 opt in buttons that are already highlighted as yes. It does not force you to scroll down and see that to continue your order, you can click on continue order without the opt in ever being seen. Once you click continue order to pay there is NOTHING there that says subscription as an item you are purchasing.
I purchased using the website on my phone, so unless you put view website in desktop view (this has to be changed in phone settings) there is no way you will see the opt in that's automatically selected for you.

2 Q bounce basketballs & mats…

Purchase 2 q bounce basketballs & mats for our kids only to find out the price was US dollars not Australian dollars!
Sent a request for a refund straight away to get an offer of 15% which I declined asking for a full refund!
Took another week until I receive a response offering 20% off again I declined this!
Have not received a response as of yet from 14 days ago & yet to see any money go back into my account or receive a product!
Extremely disappointed & will not be recommending this company to anybody thinking of purchasing one of these products!
Extremely disappointed & PISSED OFF customer!

DO NOT ORDER - RIP OFF

They're pretty clever. My original order, placed in November 2023, was never received. They strung me along for months back then and into early 2024. I wrote a scathing review on TrustPilot in 2024. They FINALLY responded to that review this month. Again, I gave them everything they needed to make this right (asking for a refund). Ghosting me again. I'm assuming they reached out because it’s their big order season again - clever of them. And their response is always that they will look into it, but they don’t.

Not happy

Bought this for my nephew for Christmas and have been automatically signed up to a subscription and they tried to charge a monthly fee. Thankfully my bank suspected fraud and stopped the transaction but now my card is blocked. How stupid to automatically sign people up to the app for a monthly subscription they know nothing about? It’s a gift and not even for me so useless for me anyway, it is ridiculous and unclear and they have obviously blindsided and scammed a lot of people after reading other reviews. I am awaiting a reply to the email that I have sent today to sort this out, hopefully I hear from them or will need to take it further. Completely unhappy about this.

No it is not clear which is why several people have reviewed your product and service saying the same thing, it’s scam behaviour, I suggest you review your processes if you want a better reputation. I have sent an email to your email address 2 days ago to cancel this and am awaiting your reply.

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before buying. The reviews on the website are definitely fake.
I received the wall mounted hoop - it’s from China with Chinese instructions and looks like a cheap $2 product.
The courier (imile) contacted me last week to say they were delivering the package that day and it never arrived. Then I got a random email from Q bounce to say there’s been a problem with the delivery.

It’s a scam. Don’t buy from here. I paid almost $270 AUD for nothing.

ONGOING FEE SCAM!!

DO NOT BUY - There is an ongoing monthly charge that is hidden in the cart - BEWARE!! I was charged an additional fee for a couple of months before I realised what was happening. When you select the "bundle" offer there is a toggle for access to the app but in order to see the full details of this you need to scroll down in the cart, it then reveals that there is a $29 / month fee added to the purchase. They also do not send a monthly receipt to let you know they've taken the money out so you are blissfully unaware until you go scrolling through your accounts.

Charged me randomly a second time

Charged me randomly a second time. I received the ball, then 2-3 weeks later they tried to charge me again (for a random amount). I bet a lot of people miss this charge and they bank it. I had to order a new card to avoid another charge.

They signed me up for the subscription without my consent. They wouldn't respond to me after I asked to stop it. Do not buy from them.

Saw their b******* reply. No it wasn't clear in the cart. Why the heck would someone want a basketball app??? Also, prior to realizing the mistake, I was emailing about a replacement ball. Was getting response pretty quickly back and forth until I noticed the recurring charge and requested a refund. Didn't get a response at all the moment I asked for a refund even after sending a reminder email. If you're going to buy one of these balls, just buy it from a reseller from Amazon.

The ball is okay, ongoing charges concerning

The ball is okay, but they charge a monthly fee I had no idea about, and so hard to stop it.

The ball itself is good enough for kids practicing at home, doesn't always bounce straight up, but better than loud balls etc.

I have no idea how I was signed up to a monthly "Pro VIP" membership that charges $30 US per month. So far I'm emailing them to stop this, I cannot see anywhere online how I can stop this payment and it does seem somewhat misleading. I will update this review with the outcome - after my first email requesting to stop the payments they only explained it is a VIP membership and did not stop the payments. Time will tell...

Edit with the final update - they confirmed after 4 emails requesting a cancellation that the ongoing charges would be stopped. By other reviews here it seems it is catching a lot of people out, so buyer beware. Their email responses were reasonably prompt, I will acknowledge that.
