A 7-day trial is available when selecting the yearly subscription option. Please remember that the subscription renews automatically after the trial, so it should be canceled before the trial ends if you don’t plan to continue.

SCAM - Do not use the free trial. Tried the trial and then suddenly £399 for the annual subscription is deducted from my bank account. Apparently there’s a small box for the monthly option which is designed to be missed.

During checkout, both monthly and annual plans are shown, and the selected option is displayed on the payment screen before the trial starts. The trial automatically renews into the plan that was chosen at signup, unless it is cancelled before the trial ends.

I enjoy how customizable it is but have found the tech glitchy. I will find some walls shifts or design edits reverted. Worst of it all, it once reverted all my changes to such an old version, it lost me 4-5 hours of edits. There's no archive to recover from.

Planner 5D saves projects automatically, but in some cases rollbacks can happen due to connection issues, working in multiple tabs/devices at the same time, or temporary sync errors. When this happens, it may look like the project returned to an older version even though the latest changes were not fully saved to the server.

even the basic things from planner 5d, the blueprints are not working
The complete system is just broken and not user friendly. Their AI recognition is not working, the planner is overlapping walls, the system has so many options but they are unusable if you cannot draw the walls.
Don't even try to go through support which is only an ai agent, wited over 2 hours for a human agent and nothing happened.
The full system is not able to do dimensions, you cannot show them, the AI it has is proposing things then does't work. They do webinars, show you things, but when it is time to use the platform it is frustrating to say the least

OBVIOUSLY A FRAUD! an unauthorized withdrawal…
They made an unauthorized withdrawal from my bank account for no reason! I used the website for couple of days, I didn’t even upgrade my subscription, I cancelled it before trial ends. They still withdrawn amount of 399.99 GBP!! WHAT!!
My bank has provided me the phone number of them. When I call them, there is no one answering. I tried to chat them online on the website, still no response.
I want my money back, this is obviously fraud!!

Scam! Just want to take your money! I strongly warn others before signing up for the Planner 5D free trial.
During the trial, the app was unusable on both my phone and computer due to multiple defects and missing core functionality. Because of this, I attempted to cancel before the trial ended. I clearly remember initiating cancellation, but I received no confirmation.
Despite this, the trial was automatically converted into a £119.99 annual charge.
I contacted Apple and was denied a refund due to the developer’s policy. Charging a large annual fee for a defective product, especially after an attempted cancellation and without clear confirmation, feels deeply misleading.

Helpful but lots of quirks
I am upgrading to 4 stars due to the prompt detailed reply I received from the vendor. Better service = better product!
Quick additional note to Planner5D team:
A couple things on navigating through the space:
A. Sometimes I will be moving slowly through the room using the keyboard commands a,d,s &w. Then when I end up passing through an outer wall, it’s like I end up way far away from the room like 100 feet away and it takes a long time to navigate back using those same commands.
B. Sometimes it starts moving for no apparent reason, like I am flying over the room and it just keeps moving. I figured out that I can stop this by pressing one of the above mentioned keys.
Original review:
1. Program is very helpful and I’m glad I have it. I do have some gripes though!
2. Sometimes it’s very difficult to group objects. I need to do it in 3-D sometimes say like trying to build a custom bookshelf and group all the shelves in the main unit. Not sure why it’s so hard to get it right.
3. When objects are grouped, it sure would be helpful to be able to edit them as a whole. Like if it’s a bunch of individual cabinets and I want to change them all to a different color or make them taller or something. Or more to the point, I built a custom kitchen island which included about eight or nine wood pieces. When I wanted to change the color, I had to ungroup and then change every color individually, and it’s not all that easy to find the colors in the menu the way they have it organized. So there’s pressure to figure out the color upfront and then you could duplicate all the wood pieces and go from there instead of having to change everything later.
4. The lack of an align function drives me crazy. The snap to function does help sometimes but not others. I have spent a great deal time just pushing things around the screen and eyeballing them to try to get them to line up.
5. Sometimes when trying to move an object, I end up moving the whole room. I am very carefully clicking on just the object, but then the whole room gets selected and I really don’t understand why. Where yet, sometimes the whole room moves except a couple of key other things and then those objects are out of place.
6. I often need to use the ruler to check diagonal distances. Once I have put some rulers in place it would be nice if they stayed there. As soon as I exit a project and come back, they are gone and I would have to redo them again!
7. Better yet would be a translucent ruler that shows actual marks for feet or inches or what not that you could easily slide around to check distances. I’ve seen this on another programs. All this one includes it a simple line that you have to manually elongate or shorten.

A few notes on each item you mentioned:
1. Thank you! We’re genuinely glad to have you with us :)
2. For easier grouping, a helpful workaround is to build the complex object outside the room first, then select it in 2D while holding Shift to grab everything at once. After that, you can move the grouped set back into the room.
3. Totally fair feedback. While we don’t currently support applying a texture to an entire group in one action, you can Copy and Paste a texture from one item to another to avoid re-browsing the full texture library each time.
4. For better precision, we usually align as much as possible in 2D first, then fine-tune in 3D using the keyboard arrow keys.
5. In Settings, there’s an option to Lock walls. The full room can still be moved, but locking walls helps prevent accidentally breaking the room geometry.
6. One possible option here is using Mood boards linked to your project. You can draw there and add diagonal dimensions as a workaround.
7. Love this idea! Thank you for suggesting it.

I got stung with the renewal. Yes T&C applies but you know a company is dodgy if their product doesn't work and still charges you for it.
Definitely lodging a consumer affairs case, not that something will happen but out of principle.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AND COMPANY.

3. Help you cancel properly (if it’s still active) and ensure there are no further renewals.

1. the platform you used (Web / iOS / Android)
2. your device + browser (if Web)
3. what exactly happened when it “didn’t work” (error message, stuck loading, 3D not opening, etc.)

The software is ok and fun to use. I am not an architect and being a normal user without any engineering knowledge, this is more than enough for me.
I accidentally kept the auto renewal on and got charged. I requested refund and my request was immediately accepted and refund processed. Thanks a lot

Planner 5D should handle a wide range of room shapes, and measurements shouldn’t be “all over the place,” so something is definitely off. The two most common causes are:
1. Scale not being set correctly (especially if the plan was imported), or an incorrect reference measurement was used.
2. Snap/grid settings or wall thickness affecting how dimensions display and how objects align.
If you’re open to it, we’d like to troubleshoot this with you and get accurate results. Please message our support team with:

2. the project you're having issues with;
3. an original file with dimensions depicted on it.
