I can’t praise Julia Speed and the team enough for how they handled the introduction/onboarding process. Julia was extremely friendly and transparent during our initial phone call and I was further blown away by how welcoming Julia, Matt Harding, Sue Law etc. were during a discovery day. There was no hard sell and everyone was extremely generous with their time. From then on, I have felt completely supported and welcomed throughout the entire onboarding process. The induction training with Dawn Bould was very comprehensive and again Dawn and the wider team have been supportive throughout. Julia has kept in touch regularly and Matt and Julia have both reached out to celebrate early wins. Nothing has been too much trouble and I can’t fault the process.

What a fantastic experience the training course was amazing. I went to Venus in Manchester to meet Julia Speed she made me feel so welcome thank you Julia for all the help and support you have given me.
Kerry and Kristina are so lovely when they was doing the training course they was so helpful and made the training experience amazing. Even now when there is a question they are always around to help.
I am so happy with my Mentor Julie Tebay again always around to help me thank you Julie. I feel like we are one big family in the community, all the lovely people I have met on the training course and also other Travel Counsellors I have met will be friends forever. Changing career is a massive decision. Right from initial contact Travel Counsellors we're so transparent and supportive. No hard sell at all and lots of time to understand the business with no pressure at all. I am currently coming to the end of my training which has been fantastic and I am really excited to begin my journey with the continued support from a fantastic organisation.

Despite already having good knowledge on the TC community, Julia made sure I had an unwavering level of support throughout my decision making journey. Whether the questions were surrounding the business model, logistics of being self-employed or anything else which came to mind, Julia did not hesitate to find the answer to my question, and made me feel very supported. This really is a company where you're made to feel like an individual on your own unique journey.

From my initial phone call with Julia Speed, meeting her at a discovery day and at HQ, everything has been made very easy with no pressure to sign up. The two weeks training with Kerry and Kristina was very well run, they were always there with support with smiles on their faces. I am now three weeks post course and finding my own way. I have a great mentor to assist me and the rest of my onboarding group are always there to answer any questions. There is still a lot to learn but it is going to be worth it, with the great backing of Travel Counsellors.

I'd looked at various travel companies when considering starting my own travel business, but I was always drawn back to Travel Counsellors due to the complete professionalism I experienced from when I first enquired and spoke on numerous occasions with Cathy, to being invited to Head Office to discuss further. The onboarding and ongoing training I received and continue to receive is second to none, I always have an opportunity to learn and upskill, the support is superb, along with the true feeling of community. I might work alone, but I never feel alone.

Joining TC was a breeze. I was introduced to Julia Speed who invited me to HQ for a tour once we’d had some initial conversations around my expectations and experience. I think I drilled her with questions for around 4 hours! This was way longer than most office visits but I left with a firm belief that TC was the right franchise for me. The TC training is very well presented. I expected a class room environment, which was the case every morning but the majority of the course is through online modules where you can work through at your own pace. This allows you to absorb information in a way that suits you as an individual. The training teams experience ensures that no one gets too far ahead and no one is ever left too far behind. The content is extremely educational and interesting which makes the course enjoyable. I sometimes worked a couple of hours longer on an evening to practice a bit more on what I was learning but this was just a personal preference, there is no actual need to work any longer than is already designated. Ben & Dawn were attentive and patient with all trainees and calmly answered questions that they’ve heard a million times as if it was the first time they’d heard it. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole 2 week experience and was delighted to see that the training continues but within my own time frames to complete modules.

Julia was really friendly and helpful during the onboarding process and was always quick to respond. I was lucky to have Dawn as my trainer, who had the task of distilling a huge amount of information into two weeks. She was always professional and upbeat, and no questions were too much for her to handle - especially in our chatty cohort.
