From my initial enquiry about the franchise through to completing the induction course this week, the entire process has been smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable.

My early conversations with Julia were informative and transparent, with no pressure or hard sell—recruitment is clearly about finding the right fit for both sides.

The Discovery Day at head office was equally professional and insightful, giving a real sense of how the operation works, again with no pressure.

The induction training over two weeks was fantastic. Kristina and Kerry delivered it with expertise, energy, and a great sense of humour (plus some great Snapchat Teams filters!). Their approach made the learning experience engaging and genuinely enjoyable.

Just survived the induction—and I say “survived” loosely, because it was smoother than a jazz sax solo and more professional than a penguin in a tuxedo. Julia kicked things off with charm, Kristina steered the training ship like a seasoned captain, and Kerry chimed in with wisdom like a friendly oracle. Honestly, if approachability were an Olympic sport, this team would be bringing home gold. Everyone I’ve met has been so welcoming, I half expected a marching band and confetti.

What an amazing experience so far! From the first contact I had with Julia all the way through to the training with Kristina, I have loved every minute of it!
I was fortunate enough to enquire with Julia a couple of days before one of the TC Together events that was happening in my area. She was able to get me booked on and after attending that my mind was made up and I started on the next possible academy induction.
A few things really resonated with me at the TC Together event, such as how passionate everyone was, the level of professionalism, the huge amount of support available and most importantly how every single TC I spoke with said it was 100% the best decision they had ever made.
The actual training was so enjoyable too, even though it was done remotely it still felt very personable. I had already met Kristina at TC Together, so it was great to have a friendly face on the first day, we all bonded very quickly though and I speak to the other TC's on my induction pretty much every day.
I cannot speak highly enough of my time with Travel Counsellors so far.

The whole training and onboarding process has been really smooth. Julia took the time at the outset to get to know me, why I wanted to start my own business, and spoke about expectations. Kristina was amazing with all of our training and really brings real life experience to it all (nothing like mistakes to make you learn). The mixture of online and in person is good and everything is very flexible (I was moving back from Dubai at the time so joining in and out between moving activities). Thank you so much for everything.

Having come from a high street agent who make it abundantly clear you are a number and that the door isnt locked, I couldn't have had a more polarising experience. Wish I'd joined TC years ago! I haven't even finished my induction yet and already feel like part of the community. There is a strong community ethos, before I even officially started my training I received email messages from others in the local area l, with well wishes and offers of assistance if needed.

Dawn and Josie were happy to answer any questions we could think to ask. The training is well laid out and you can work at your own pace.

Cathy from HR staff was in touch regularly and answered several emails I sent and was happy to take zoom video calls which was great, made me very comfortable.

I was a Travel Counsellor before (between 2002-2020) , but, Wow ....how the Training, modules, exercises and development has moved on . I have worked for the biggest and so called best other companies within the travel industry ,(the great and good that claim their inductions are superb with their training set up ) but sorry this is nothing BUT world class at Travel Counsellors , the amount of knowledge , help and how to"s is beyond any other company could dream of , from the moment you are greeted on the phone to going live , you could train in 2 weeks or 2 months its up to you and your pace and what you want to know , you can train whilst running your business after 2 weeks or do all your training first and then start to trade , but honestly any question you could ever think of, has already been thought through by Travel Counsellors head office and is within the support
All in plain travel understanding with lots of videos and how to"s , no hard to understand modules at all , but even if you do get stuck you have lots of happy faces from support at Head office , all very helpful and friendly too, honestly and I am only just re starting now , I don't see any reason for you not to be a success here with their support , willingness and training

Experience has been first rate from systems to training to the overall sense of being welcomed to the team. First rate!

From the moment I sent my tentative enquiry, Julia made me feel at ease. She was incredibly friendly, supportive, and patient, answering all my questions and giving me the confidence to believe I could really do this. We had an online meeting where she explained everything clearly, and when I visited head office, she gave me the warmest welcome, showed me around, and introduced me to the team. That personal touch meant so much.

The onboarding training with Dawn was fantastic, so well organised, informative, and encouraging. Dawn could not have done more to help. By the time I reached launch day, I felt excited and fully supported. When my business went live, the whole team joined an online call to raise a glass to my success, a moment I will never forget.

The support has only continued from there. My mentor Daniel is fabulous, and the weekly check-ins from the Relationship Management team are so helpful. There are so many people you can turn to, not least other Travel Counsellors, who constantly go above and beyond to help each other.

If you are in any doubt about taking the plunge, know this: you will never be alone. Travel Counsellors is a community full of kind, capable people who truly want to see you succeed.

The whole experience has been incredible. Sue Law introduced me to the world of travel counsellors and was so open and transparent, yet informative and professional, I really appreciate how she took the time to answer all my questions and worries.

The trainer Dawn was informative, helpful and supportive. The travel counsellors leisure booking contest is broad and well structured. The overall experience of the business, the model and the commitment and care for the people is something I’ve never witnessed before in 35 yrs in corporate work. This company does walk the talk! They care more and it is, indeed, personal!

Katie Bennett was so helpful right from the very start of my celebration holiday with the family. She organised everything for me, and nothing was too much trouble in sorting out the needs of 15 members of the family. I know she will be there for me right up to the sailing of our cruise to Amsterdam and Bruges, next April. I can’t wait, and booking was all made so easy with Katie’s thorough checks on our needs. I would recommend!

Online learning is self led e learning with some daily interaction with a trainer. This may not be suitable for everyone. I have given feedback to TC about varying styles of learning and they have taken my feedback onboard which is greatly appreciated.
