I accidentally left a bag of family clothing in the wardrobe (Vintage -LIPHOOK caravan @ Southview Skegness. I reported it immediately 18th October & spoke to ANISHA on reception. I asked her to speak to the housekeeper (drives a 4x4) that had personally collected the keys from us doing that area because incase they check the wardrobes? ANISHA said she wouldn’t be able to ask the new family staying in the caravan & she would ring me back on Friday after they had left. She never rang me back with an update. I spoke to Maria at the resort- she asked what the contents of the bag was (Joules clothing, Leicester City shirts, Superdry Hoodie, Cragghoppers combats ect) again-no response. After numerous calls to them Maria said on 22nd Oct they were not found. Cain (comms team)was also aware of the issue but again- no update.

Just awful experience of this park.
The lodge we stayed in was a Truo lodge it wasn't anything like the images online when booking, the floor plan was different and it doesn't have a dishwasher. The lodge was supposed to be updated for 2022 but the quality of work is the worst I have ever seen, all the radiators in the lodge where leaking water, the boiler was leaking water, the washing machine sounded like it was taking off, the grouting in the shower has holes in it. Upon entering our premium Lodge the place stunk of curry (this smell never went during our two week stay) the floor had a big sticky patch and the toilet had feces on in. The lodge wasn't very clean with cobwebs everywhere the floors sticky and surfaces sticky. The lodge is the worst lodge I have every stayed in. The park is not what I expected at all, the children's indoor play area was closed, the baby/ toddler pool was closed, the sauna was closed, the jacuzzi was closed very disappointing. The outdoor pirate ship play area is a disgrace it's nothing like the pictures online it needs nocking down there is no slide no climbing wall it has massive weeds growing out of, it was patched up with sheets of mdf has holes in the floors and isn't safe in my opinion my children was really looking forward to the pirate ship as well but I wouldn't let them play on it. There are two more parks and both are in a state of disrepair and need updating and tidying up weeds growing all over the place. I raised my concerns to reception and explained I believe I was mis-sold a holiday on the basis the site and lodge is nothing like the online pictures and videos.
All in all the place is a massive let down and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for the money I paid I feel completely ripped of and won't be staying at a park dean resort again what they advertise and what they deliver and nothing alike.

Skipsea Sands - our tent was invaded by rats, they chewed through our brand new camp kitchen, the site toilets were not cleaned from Saturday to Thursday when I complained and then they were cleaned. There was rubbish behind the children's indoor play area, absolutely filthy & not cleaned once. We left early due to the rats. I complained and was offered a £50 voucher which never materialised. I was asked to email photos of the damage to the kitchen, which I did. The email was ignored so I emailed again and still ignored. They don't clean the site or toilets, it's overrun with rats, others had their tents damaged but Parkdean could not care less, I will never go to Parkdean again

Stayed at Nairn and the site was lovely. We chose a caravan close to the beach and away from the facilities, and it was so peaceful. We had a caravan that took a dog, and it was fairly clean. The main facilities were up to date, the kids loved the arcade, entertainment, and as the beach was so close could go anytime. The town has all facilities and some lovely restaurants and takeaways. Would highly recommend.

The caravan photos on the website are not representative of what you will actually get if you go to the Whitley Bay site. It does say this in the fine print but it doesn't say the net curtains may have holes in, the seating may have historical stains , the towels may be worn out & you may be 'upgraded' to an unsuitable van without being told until you get on site. This is the experience I've had after 2 visits to this site. It's the only caravan site in Whitley Bay so that explains the return visits.

Parkdean oceans edge. Was recommended this place by friends.
Good points. Lovely staff on bungee jump. Great life guards and pool. Fabulous to visit with a pet. Shower fabulous and powerful. Caravan... mmm undecided.
Bad points. Awful male childrens entertainer. Was too amused by his own sarcastic jokes. Bare wires on co2 detectors in caravan. Sweet papers and crumbs under cushions. Grill pan didn't fit. Had to balance it on an upside down frying pan. Not ideal. Had booked 'pirates pursuit' online. Paid £8.00. Got a phone call a few days before we set off saying could they change it to the Sunday from Saturday. Same time same place. I turned up with my 3yr old granddaughter to be told 'Adam' was in the bar and could do it in 2hrs time. Needless to say this was unacceptable as we had other plans later on. My granddaughter was very upset as it meant she also missed blues and clues. I asked for a refund and the surly receptionist bluntly refused. When I asked how I could get a refund she shrugged her shoulders and said 'no idea'!!. Not a great representative of the company.
What could of been a fantastic holiday was spoilt by two members of staff and a very unhappy little girl. Shame!!

We arrived at our holiday park on 2/9 and it started quite well, as we were 3 hrs early to check in we asked reception if we could take our frozen food and put it in the freezer, they called the site cleaners and they agreed it would be ok as it was open still. At 4.00pm we went back as this was our check in time and found the caravan all open, door was wide open, windows were all open! We called reception and they said the cleaner was on the way round to finish. We waited another 15 minutes and no one came. We went in and the bedding had been thrown on the floor outside the door where it remained for 4 more days even after reporting it was getting very wet.
When we entered nothing has changed, the toilet was dirty in the bathroom, the cooker was dirty and my wife was not sure the beds had been changed?
We complained to reception but all they could say was they were short staffed and sorry… not good enough!
The next day we invited our friends round that we’re staying in another caravan, they too we’re not satisfied with their caravan!
My wife offered to make a cooked breakfast but realised that the bacon and sausage were not cooking in the oven?
When she noticed the inside glass was missing! This delayed cooking the breakfast and meant the sausage and bacon had to be done under the grill, which took ages.
We also had a broken time opener so I had to go and ask reception for a replacement, they didn’t have one, so I went to the one site shop, they didn’t have one either?
They sent me to housekeeping, and they gave me one, so breakfast was on again!
In addition To above the below also became issues;
1/ Tv didn’t work for a week , poor Ariel! So we could not watch our beloved Queen reports of her death, until they fixed it after several complaints eventually on the Monday 12th - 10 days later.
2/ the hall light kept flashing
3/ the smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm were faulty, meaning it was breaking H&S as we were not protected.
4/ the caravan had an terrible smell so we bought some scent candles to try to mask it, more cost
5/ they advertised 2 breakfasts in their restaurant for £10.99 but we were charged £13.99 and we I questioned it the girl said it had finished, but still advertised through our holiday on their electronic signs.
We cut our holiday short in the end and came home 2 days early from a 14 day holiday as we felt it had been so bad it had taken the shine off what was supposed to be a holiday. We also booked 8 months in advance and had to pay 10 weeks ahead in full and then DID NOT GET THE CARAVAN WE HAD BOOKED…
We will not use this company again !!!
We have had an email from them today offering us a discount on another holiday with them- what a cheek!
we have said we'd never use this company again and we mean it so when looking I suggest you use HAVEN holidays they are far better. Used them many times before and always found them VERY GOOD
Please don't waste your money here they don't care about customers once they've had your money
NO THEY HAVE NOT OFFERED A RESOLUTION THAT IS FAIR

We had our annual gas safety check on Tuesday. Tweety and Billy explained what they were doing (in language we understood!) and, as usual, were very efficient and friendly.
They are a delight - such a good advertisement for Parkdean
Fantastic holiday @ Parkdean lower Hyde
we took our tent
for a 2 week break
Very clean pitch freshly mowed grass very clean toilets and showers some taps don’t switch off quickly so they waste water very polite touring staff make you feel welcome they are a credit to parkdean other staff should be like these Ladys short walk to club house a little over priced drinks etc but to be expected clean swimming pool my children enjoyed the pool party had to pay extra for it
there was a storm forecast and a member of the team was coming around to each pitch to let us know well worth a visit

Caravan at Embo was smelly.
Stunck of BO (body odour). Took a day to air it. Cleaner/preparer should never have passed this as fit for a new resident.
Carpets and furniture smelled the same as your hoover bag or receiver. Tired and needing a good deep clean.
Manky. Poor cleaning regime. Superficial cleaning only.

This is an update to the review I left on trust pilot about Parkdean resorts it has been over seven days (seven working days) since I reported my concerns about the accommodation ParkDean Naze Marines had given me and my family to stay in I after being told I would be contacted within seven days I still have not heard anything it is clear to me that ParkDean resorts do not care about their guests I reported to reception and was ignored I was told maintenance would be round and they didn’t turn up I was told to email Millie Connor and I did on two separate occasions where nothing was done I called ParkDean Direct gave over the information they requested was told an investigation would take place and I would be contacted within seven days again this hasn’t happened so I was ignored again only by coming onto trust pilot and leaving a review I get a rapid response from Parkdean who tell me to now contact someone else another department! when do I have been ignored on four separate occasions in trying to get this resolved now Parkdean want me to waste more of my time and my money sending information to another department which I have no confidence in and will probably be ignored I am not going to let this go looking at the reviews Parkdean do this on a regular basis to a lot of its customers if Parkdean do not resolve this I will have no other option but to take legal action as this is the second bad experience I’ve had with Parkdean resorts The first been finding drugs in my accommodation under the bed my daughter was sleeping in and now this experience which I didn’t expect renting a brand-new caravan I have photographic evidence of everything The drugs the state of the caravan and what me and my family I’ve had to put up with. I’ve never heard so much rubbish in all my life no issues were resolved while we were there at all Naze Marine are blatant liars and if this is how you treat customers I will take legal action

Stayed for a week at lower Hyde the worst place ever caravan dirty inside and loads of dog ends and a used sanitary towel outside the pools are terrible if you can ever get in them only got in twice in a week kept on getting turned away with my 3 and 6 year olds crying had to go to a public pool you have to queue for 45 mins and hope for a slot it’s a joke the parks are run down and not sufficient for the amount of kids there and the childrens entertainer told me to remove my 3 year old son from the front of the stage because he couldn’t concentrate on putting out 5 cardboard figures so again left with my son in tears I complained but no reply the place is awful I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy

Booked a “luxury” lodge and early check in for a short break. So, arrived at correct time, sticker stating on the lodge it was ready for us. When we walked in it immediately went south. The kitchen sink still had food in it, drawers had old sweets in them, my kids bedroom covers were sticky, clumps of hair and food behind the doors, razor disposables in the bathroom, double bed covers with sticky spots all over them, showers caked in old soap and mould, and old USED plasters left on floor.I made several attempts to speak to someone however there is no one senior on site at all I assume as it’s day two and the person I have been advised to wait for has still not made contact. I had a cleaner eventually show up at 5pm and left at 7pm. Someone came with him and agreed it was beyond sub par and that the cleaning is not checked and that some of the current staff need serious training. We had no towels on arrival it took 4 requests but in the night 36 hand towels were left for us? Food, best bet is to bring your own or catch a rabbit as shop has sweet FA even first thing in the morning. The restaurant has more items unavailable than available, the only starters yesterday were hummus or bread and butter. This is not even standard let alone luxury, general staff provide lip service but nothing else and as I say unless you want to just cover the issues repeatedly with reception nothing will change . I don’t review normally however this is bad, really bad and to be honest waiting to resolve all these issues with someone leaves a bit of free time. In short do not come and if you do never waste any extra expense on their so called luxury lodges. I won’t let this lie and as I am still here let’s see what’s next!
Update - the below is. Standard response however their team have been “investigating” for over two weeks and other than auto generated responses nothing has been received!

payed for a weeks holiday on a full service touring pitch at parkdean skegness.arrived on site and found the touring park has been taken over by a quite a few undesireables who had just decided they would enter the park and not pay.they had they washing line all over out allocated space.ended up having a argument with a van full people .complained to reception who knew these people where on the site but did nothing about it.ended up getting moved to a site 40 mins away .arrived there no full service pitches ,hardly no facilities and swimming pool broken.
staff at the new site said they dont know how to contact complaints department .managed to get through to someone after numerous attempts to be fobbed off with the usual we will contact you within 7-10 days tactic.book a parkdean resort at your peril because if you encounter a problem theres no support for your stay

We booked a 3 night mini break at Parkdean on the Isle of Wight taking our 5 grand children with us. Having stayed at other Parkdean sites we thought we knew what to expect. We arrived early and had a nightmare time trying to locate the caravan as there was little signage on site and the map we were given was useless. The cleaner was in the caravan so we left and returned 2hrs later. The cleaner was still in the caravan so we left again. When we gained entry some hours later we were appalled by the state of the caravan, whatever the cleaner had been doing it certainly wasn't cleaning! There was rubbish in the cupboards, fridge and under the sofa bed. A cupboard above the bed was hanging by one hinge. We wiped the table top and work surface with a wet wipe and it was black. The cooker hob and oven were so dirty we didn't dare use them, and someone had actually written in the dirt on the cooker hood "clean me" as it was so dirty and covered with cobwebs. The toilets looked like they had never had a brush used on them. The shower drains were clogged with hair, and the kitchen sink stunk of sewage. The floor needed sweeping, and there were stains on the bed linen. By now it was quite late and the children were tired. We then discovered there was no quilt or pillows for the sofa bed, we had to use blankets from the car.
The following morning we took a long list of complaints to reception and were told a manager would phone us, no-one did.
The site itself is attractive with all the trees and close to the beach, but there is nothing there for older children. I thought they could at least enjoy the pool but it was very small and only 1.1m at its deepest, only really suitable for smaller children. The very small amusement area mainly consisted of coindozers and grab machines that didn't hold on to anything! I still haven't heard anything from Parkdean regarding our complaints, and I certainly won't be going back there.

Absolute clowns! They have just cancelled our holiday for New Year that has been booked for 8 months, they even took a direct debit payment then sent me an email later on saying they have decided to close early, so absolutely ruined our new year plans, they have also caused me to lose £100 from us having to book a hotel the night before as a halfway stop as we were travelling with a disabled child & a dog, so that is non refundable, now they are telling me I have to wait for my money back!! It’s gone from waiting 2 days to 3-5 days then to 7-10 days in the space of 24 hours.. They make it sound like they’re doing a dead good thing by giving you your money back & then try call themselves heroes by offering you a £100 voucher as a gesture of goodwill BUT u have to book another holiday to get it 🙈 Nah mate, sort ya heads out, absolute cretins!!!
