This company is a joke. I ordered some flooring for a bar that I run, which I chose based upon the photographs on their website. The flooring was laid by contractors whilst the bar was closed and I was away. When I checked the flooring upon my return I noticed it was a completely different colour to the pictures online. It was grey, rather than dark brown. I emailed their customer services team, who confirmed that the colour was completely different to what was offered, they thought it was the grey oak, rather than the dark oak.

They offered to replace the flooring but I would have to uplift it and have it refitted, which they were not willing to pay for. This would have cost more than the flooring was worth so I told them it wasn't possible. They then asked me what I felt was a fair refund, to which I said 50% of the cost of the flooring. They ended up offering me £200, an offer that I rejected out of principle. After this, they suddenly changed their tune, gaslighting me, telling me that the flooring was in fact the correct colour, but only under certain light conditions! We were then told that we should have got a sample before choosing the flooring, however, this would not have helped as it is simply not possible to see what the flooring will look like from a tiny 10cm by 10cm square. You don't get a true perspective until it is laid. This is why it is important that the photographs online represent what the flooring will actually look like when laid.

We based our choice on what was advertised online, and had the colour been remotely similar we'd have taken it on the chin, however, the colour is completely different to that advertised on their website. It wouldn't look similar under any light conditions.

If you are considering using this company then be VERY careful about what you order. Be advised that their pictures online do not resemble the product they are selling at all. I would avoid this company for this reason, and also for the fact that they have lousy customer services who contradict what each other are saying. We had one staff member tell us that the colour was completely wrong, followed by someone else who said it was correct.

I am now forced to look into legal options regarding this matter.

The quality was not as good as advertised on the laminate we purchased. It started peeling after about a month and a half of being laid. We've since had to rip the whole lot up and will have to re order from somewhere else. I wouldnt use this company again.
Had some damage when it arrived which they refunded for, some bits were scratched. Very disappointed

Excellent price and quick delivery. First time I have used the vinyl flooring but have used a lot of Quickstep laminate flooring and it is top quality so naturally went for the known brand for hassle free installing.
Will happily use Online Carpets again when the need arises.

My vinyl flooring was delivered with no visable signs of damage but when the fitters unrolled it there was damage all down one side. Online carpets didn’t believe me. Always check your delivery as soon as it arrives so you can request a replacement immediately. I would not recommend this company to anyone order number ONL1160365

bought new flooring from here was delivered asap and looks fantastic for the money brilliant quality and solid wood

2nd time I used them. First time was for bedroom carpet and underlay. 2nd time was for lounge, again carpet and underlay. Always delivered on time. Prices are great. The Cormar Apollo plus is a great carpet, so good we’ve put it in both our rooms. Easy clean and doesn’t show tread wear like other carpets.

I have used online carpets since covid lockdown, when I redecorated my house. I have had carpets and linoleum , all great quality,and delivered with care and on time. I requested samples beforehand to asses the quality,and all was good. A great cimpany with affordable quality products.
