Order never arrived and emails barley replied to, promised delivery and refund or which neither ever happened. Avoid at all cost.

I ordered a dog blanket at the end of August, which I still have not received. I have now been back in touch 3 times. The first 2 times I was promised that the blanket would be despatched asap. My third attempt to get in touch has simply been ignored. Very disappointed. I would not recommend using this company.

Still waiting for my order which was ordered in March. Numerous emails sent only to be advised its on way ....very disappointing

Can only add to what's already being said! Nothing short of a scam company. DO NOT ORDER FORM THEM!!!!!!
I ordered 2 bags of food from them in October 2023 and have not had any response to my repeated emails asking where it is and why I'm not being advised as to why there is a delay. Also asked for a refund as I ordered from elsehere. Still no response. Likely I'm going to have to open a fraud case to get my money back too.

Ordered from here 4-5 weeks ago. Got a confirmation email. Three weeks later I emailed asking where my product was with no reply. Emailed 3 times and still nothing.

Complete frauds. Took months to get my money back. Originally seemed Genuine but quickly became clear I wouldn't receive my order or refund. They refused to reply to emails. Had to open a fraud case against them. Did receive a refund.

I ordered my dog food as l find it too heavy to carry on august 31 2023 for £40. Never been delivered l have emailed countless times with no reply. I don’t think anyone can afford to lose £40 but my husband is end of life palliative care, We cannot afford to lose £40 anytime. I think you should be forced off line. I ordered and paid for this and l definitely had no response from yourselves. SHAME ON YOU !!!!

Oh dear, another unhappy customer! Ordered a dog bed, which never arrived, contacted customer service who promised a refund ........... still waiting for refund to arrive a month later! Just contacted card company to sort it out.

Dreadful ! I ordered a dog coat - after empty promises it never arrived and I asked for a refund - I’ve sent 7 !!! Emails asking where my refund is - I’m still waiting for a response snd my refund of course - don’t go near !

Scammers. Took the money and ran nothing arrived after 5 weeks avoid

Same experience as others - it would appear this is a scam! Do not go near!

I ordered fro them in September and did not receive my order so asked for a full refund at the end of October as order still had not arrived. And I have still not received my refund.

I placed an order last December for a dog bed. I put a complaint into Trading Standards.

"We are of course aware of the complaints on Trustpilot and on the Facebook page but can only look into complaints that come directly to us via the citizens advice contact centre as you did.

What is happening with the delivery and refund issues are classed as a breach of contract which is civil law and the only parties that are party to a contract are the parties that made it, i.e. the business and the customer. Where a breach occurs, generally the only option is for one party to sue the other in the civil courts (small claims court) for that breach, although other options are now available such as Alternative Dispute Resolution and chargebacks via the bank or payment provider. There is no legal mechanism for us to force a business to issue a refund. Whilst we do of course enforce criminal legislation that comes under our remit, non-delivery of goods or failing to refund is not a criminal offence. Breaching the delivery and refund time limits is also not a criminal matter.

Trading Standards, contrary to what some may think, do not have any powers to close a business down or to stop anyone from trading.  

You may wish to consider reporting the business to the Insolvency Service who can look into the misconduct of registered companies and their directors which can lead to a company being wound down and the director being disqualified if appropriate."

Everyone should complain to the Insolvency Service. The Director is Will Wright.

Like a lot of others here I regrettably ordered from Not in the Dog House without checking the reviews. I received one automated email apologizing for a delay to my order and nothing else - despite repeated requests for information and a refund. Their website says they are down for maintenance. Either the most inept outfit or just a fancy front for a scam operation. Do not use.

I purchased some dog food and training treats on 19 October from Not In The Dog House and they have not sent my order and neither responded to my email requesting where my order is at. I have written another email advising them that I am going to report them to Action Fraud, our local Trading Standards dept and also the Police because they have stolen my £41.74. Let's see what happens. They are well & truly 'in the dog house'. I can't give no stars otherwise I would. Seriously Not impressed!

Update 14/12/23 - Police told me to go to Action Fraud which I did at the time. I received a letter from Action Fraud yesterday telling me 'On this occasion, based on the information currently available, it has not been possible to identify a line of enquiry which a law enforcement organisation in the United Kingdom could pursue'.

So Not in the Dog House has stolen my money by not delivering the goods and this is not a crime? How can this be? Action Fraud are an absolute waste of time and a disgrace.

Looking on the Companies House site for this company I can see that a Voluntary Liquidator was appointed on 22/11/23. Contact details for the Liquidator are published but I'm unsure whether they can do anything?
