MyChargeBack firmly believes that an open, free platform allowing consumers to share their experiences with service providers is a vital asset for any business. For us, it provides access to feedback that we might otherwise not receive. And we genuinely appreciate all legitimate comments that have been posted here, both positive and negative, because they have allowed us to resolve outstanding issues, improve our products and services and better serve our clients. Unfortunately, however, Trustpilot is a thoroughly unreliable platform for consumers who wish to determine the reliability of a merchant. The algorithms developed by its anonymous and unresponsive "Content Integrity Team" are poorly designed and, as a result, regularly delete legitimate 5-star reviews submitted by real consumers who have had genuine service-related experiences. For example, in 2023 alone, Trustpilot removed approximately 30 such 5-star reviews from our page. MyChargeBack would be pleased to provide copies of those deleted but legitimate reviews to anyone who asks. In addition, due to certain ambiguities in Trustpilot rules, many fake reviews posted by spammers, scammers, hackers, and competitors remain online, even though its so-called "Content Integrity Team" does claim it attempts to interdict them. As of August 30, 2022, Trustpilot had removed 551 fake reviews that were on this page, a full 70% more than those that remained. We are not the only ones who have noted Trustpilot's erratic policies. Indeed, similar observations have been posted on Trustpilot’s own Trustpilot page. Unfortunately, we have to conclude that the wide gaps in Trustpilot’s platform create an opportunity for those with ulterior motives to mislead potential and current clients. Instead of assisting consumers in making an educated decision whether to use our services, they may be left confused. Trustpilot is a discredited source. The constant monitoring and attempt at managing fake reviews, of course, requires a substantial commitment of time and manpower. Trustpilot's institutional negligence forces us to undertake that commitment in order to ensure as much as possible that the comments posted are legitimate. If you are a consumer who does seek informed advice about MyChargeBack, we have former clients worldwide who would be happy to share their real experience with you. If you would like to schedule a meeting or follow-up with someone on our team, please register directly on our website. Whether you chose to work with MyChargeBack or not, we wish you much success. And if you, like us, are a vendor, you are best advised to beware Trustpilot and opt to cooperate with one of its more dependable competitors instead.

Do your homework first.

Thought it was a good idea to try to invest and make some money.
Never thought about checking out the company before hand as i was only expecting to lay out £250. Honestly cant believe how easily i got talked into investing over £6000 before doing my home work, thought i had lost all my money. With the help of MyChargeBack managed to get all the funds I had invested.

I lost £40,000 on scam forex dealing…

I lost £40,000 on scam forex dealing and when the platform went down I found out the owner had been arrested ,I contacted my bank
for advice and although helpful told me my card company would not claim on my behalf because I had made a withdrawal albeit as a test of being able to.
..I researched sites and found "my chargeback" who
took me on for a reasonable charge and fed me letters I should send
to my bank who then agreed to start a charge back,.. the result was
that I got all my money back less a 20% fee..result £32000 that I
nearly didnt get and in the end won..I,m extremely grateful to
"my chargeback".and my bank for persevering both so helpful

What to do after a $30k loss!

After losing close to $30k through not understanding enough about forex trading and the company I was dealing with, I was extremely angry, embarrassed and confused.
I came across MyChargeBack through social media shortly after my loss and made contact a few days later. Right from the start they were highly professional and clear and concise around the steps they would take to help recoup some of my losses. Most of all though, they were completely non judgmental about the mess I had gotten into and focussed solely on helping me.
My advisor suggested the process would take around 3 months from start to finish and this proved to be the time it took for an outcome to be reached.
Whilst I recieved only a portion of my loss, it was satisfying to get some of my losses back, something that would never have happened without the guidance of MyChargeBack.
Thank you for your help.

To summarize my experience is something…

To summarize my experience is something I am happy to do. My english is not perfect.

To be scammed of a small fortune is not something I am proud of failing for, and I am not better from it in many respects. Four months of investing and investing and trading and for nothing. I did not realize it was all fake and was exhausted when I learned this.

My ChargeBack I reached out to and and was helped with consideration. They are strong when you need. The process was steps over time and we had to wait together for the banks for processing but we succeeded in getting back my money. Not easy. I needed assistance and I received it. Worth my money.

I tell people not to give up. If you can fight back against brokers who steal your money you need to fight back. Everyone has a fight and this was my fight now

Don’ deal, stay away, they cheat!

I speak small english and was scammed out of over £12k. I paid £1k to mychargeback to get my money back. This company took the £1k and leave me to do communication with the bank. I dont know financial stuff and my english is not best - i didnt know what i was doing - eventually I am out of time and get nothing. Mychargeback is not professional lawyers and should operate on policy of no win no fee. These guys did nothing but kept a £1k payment from a guy who had already lost over £12k. In the uk, i now know there are sites which give you all info you need for making charge back requests to bank - for free.

Krzysztof's case was lost either because his bank consciously decided to sit on it until it became moot or lost his paperwork. He's upset at the outcome, and so are we, since we invested a lot of energy in pursuing it.

On 27 August 2018, after we determined that Krzysztof met the conditions established by the credit card company for a chargeback, he signed our contract and paid an initial retainer. That payment covers some of our costs in handling the case, but by no means all. As we do with all clients, we explained at the time that the retainer is non-refundable and that we cannot guarantee a recovery in advance, since the ultimate decision is reserved by the banks.

On 14 September of that year we completed researching the case and sent Krzysztof a document justifying his chargeback that all clients have to submit personally to their banks, since we do not have (and never request) power of attorney over a client's bank account. On the same day Krzysztof's recovery agent sent him an introductory email providing his contact information, and the two spoke six days later.

Eight days later the bank sent Krzysztof a dispute form after our recovery agent joined him in a conference call with the bank. We inquired on two separate occasions after that but the bank had not replied to Krzysztof, so on 20 November Krzysztof and our recovery agent again called the bank for an update. The bank said it would review the documentation and call back. But it did not. So . on 28 November the two joined in another conference with the bank. The bank provided a list of additional information it said it needed to raise the dispute. The same day, therefore, our recovery agent emailed nine attachments to Krzysztof and, because of his level of English, requested his son-in-law to assist him in delivering that information to the bank. Again, that is not something we could do directly because we did not have power-of-attorney.

Assuming that the bank had the attachments in hand we waited for a decision. Having not received an update, a second recovery agent asked Krzysztof on 24 January 2019 to request a status update from the bank. He sent the bank our recovery agent's questions on 6 February , the questions I asked were sent by Krzysztof to HSBC. The recovery agent repeated his request on 26 February.

After that time it became clear that the bank had either lost the documents or was sitting on the case in order to wait out the clock. Therefore, a new resolution attempt had to be made with the merchant, since, according to the credit card company's rules, disputes have to be made within 120 days from last day of expected service and can be submitted up to 540 days from the last transaction date. That was 11 March 2019. On the same day, the documentation was resubmitted to the bank.

On 23 April the recovery agent asked Krzysztof to request a status update from the bank and again sent him specific questions to ask. We did not receive a reply. The recovery agent once again attempted to reach Krzysztof on 20 May and asked him again to request an update from the bank. However, by that point, most of the transactions were over 540 days old and could no longer be disputed.

Cardholders can indeed navigate the chargeback process by depending on free services when the issues are simple to prove -- such as fraud or goods that were not supplied as contracted. This case, however, demonstrates the complexity of service-related, card-not-present transactions, which are significantly much more complicated to process successfully without professional assistance. Of course, this case was not resolved as we had wished, but the record shows it was not because of MyChargeBack's negligence or lack of professionalism.

I personally had the worst experience

I personally had the worst experience, all is well and good when you start the process. After paying, l was allocated a lady whom l had to beg to respond to each email l sent her, bank didn't help so did my chargeback. All in all, it was time, money and emotionally draining process to deal with a service provider who couldn't show empathy and an understanding of how to work with clients. A year wasted on focusing on something that my chargeback clearly knew that they never succeeded on.

Bonolo:

We share your disappointment. But a review of your case indicates that the problem lies with your bank, not with the service we provided.

Within days after you opened your case with us a MyChargeBack recovery agent called your bank. The bank manager said he was unfamiliar with Visa chargeback regulations, refused to allow us to speak directly with his dispute department and suggested we contact the police. We advised him that your transaction indeed met Visa's conditions for a chargeback and that the police cannot raise a credit card dispute.

We then called you back and updated you regarding the bank manager's unwillingness to proceed. As you might recall, we then agreed to place a conference call with the bank, but when the time came you had a problem with your security code and then your phone battery went dead.

Nonetheless, we went ahead and submitted the chargeback request with the bank. Afterwards, we made a number of attempts to place a conference call to the bank, but each time the line eventually was dropped, either at your end or at the bank's. Once we did get through, however, the bank's dispute manager again proved disinterested in providing the service the bank is obliged to offer cardholders in your situation and told us to file a complaint with your national banking ombudsman instead, which we did. Unfortunately, after over three months of deliberation, the ombudsman rejected our complaint.

Thanks to MyChargeBack I got MyLifeBack!

I can't thank MyChargeBack enough! Having been the victim of an online Forex scam to the tune of c£23k, I never thought I'd see a penny of my money back - the 'brokers' shut down their website and had stopped answering my calls once they realised they'd bled me dry. But with the help of MyChargeBack I recovered ALL my money. And I was happy to pay MyChargeBack their fee, as honestly, I'd rather have 80% of £22k than 100% of nothing!

Initially sceptical - after all I'd just been scammed, I was in shock, I felt stupid and ashamed, and I didn't know who I could trust. My friends and family didn't really now what to advise. They told me to go to Citizens Advice, or the police - but I didn't believe any of those actions would actually help me get my money back - which was my number one priority. So I did some research and decided to give MyChargeBack a try. I figured I had nothing to lose and scraped some money together to pay them to open my case. I am so glad I did!! And I really don't think I'd have won my case without their expertise.

It took about six months in total with a lot of persistence before my Bank could be persuaded to open a chargeback for services not received. The bank told me it was a 'weak chargeback' claim and were reluctant to do it, but when they eventually did I got the whole lot back from them (c£13k). The rest was from the credit card company who were actually a bit easier to deal with, although it also took time and some three-way phone calls with me, my agent Yuliya and the bank before they would open the claim.

My story was that I was hooked in through a FB ad with the scammers pretending to be offering Bitcoin trading endorsed by Dragon's Den. This was in autumn 2018. Once I stopped investing in the account, my 'broker' went off line and they stopped answering my phone calls/emails. I was unable to withdraw my funds and started to panic. Particularly when their whole website just disappeared into cyber space - like a popup shop, here today, gone tomorrow. Luckily I had taken screen shots of my account, the balance and stuff ..this was the only proof I had that they had my money.

This was really important when presenting my case to the bank, which MyChargeBack prepared for me once I'd sent them all the evidence. My agent Yuliya gave me fantastic support, she answered all my emails and calls promptly and stayed calm and helped me when talking with the bank. It's really important you know what to say to the banks to get them on side rather than fob you off. I am so grateful. Thank you. With the help of MyChargeBack I got MyLifeBack.

I came across My Chargeback after being…fleeced in a forex scam

Having lost a considerable sum of money I felt I’d made a huge error of judgement. I realised after some foraging that I’d been duped and realised with my lack of knowledge on how the system worked I needed some help.
I approached MCB and found the guys really helpful. After an initial conversation I agreed to proceed. They gathered all the relevant information and set about putting a case together for me.
All told from start to Finnish the process took 6 months and in the end I regained about 80% of my funds
The guys behind the scenes kept me up to date and in the picture at all times.

I would have no hesitation in recommending their service and wish you “ Bon chance”

Bob 😊😊

I thought that I had lost all of my invested money that I parted with to a bitcoin scam. It was also it seemed a big risk to take on MyChargeBack with no guarantees after an initial deposit to go ahead - at the back of my mind I was thinking ‘could this be another scam!’. I need not if worried because they explained everything that should be done very clearly and were more knowledgable about retrieving my money than my bank. I cannot tell you how relieved and happy I am to end up with 70% of my investment ( MyChargeBack’s total fee 30%). They also made me realise that even the most educated and privalidged people get conned in this modern society and I will be very cautious in the future with my investments.
