MyChargeBack firmly believes that an open, free platform allowing consumers to share their experiences with service providers is a vital asset for any business. For us, it provides access to feedback that we might otherwise not receive. And we genuinely appreciate all legitimate comments that have been posted here, both positive and negative, because they have allowed us to resolve outstanding issues, improve our products and services and better serve our clients. Unfortunately, however, Trustpilot is a thoroughly unreliable platform for consumers who wish to determine the reliability of a merchant. The algorithms developed by its anonymous and unresponsive "Content Integrity Team" are poorly designed and, as a result, regularly delete legitimate 5-star reviews submitted by real consumers who have had genuine service-related experiences. For example, in 2023 alone, Trustpilot removed approximately 30 such 5-star reviews from our page. MyChargeBack would be pleased to provide copies of those deleted but legitimate reviews to anyone who asks. In addition, due to certain ambiguities in Trustpilot rules, many fake reviews posted by spammers, scammers, hackers, and competitors remain online, even though its so-called "Content Integrity Team" does claim it attempts to interdict them. As of August 30, 2022, Trustpilot had removed 551 fake reviews that were on this page, a full 70% more than those that remained. We are not the only ones who have noted Trustpilot's erratic policies. Indeed, similar observations have been posted on Trustpilot’s own Trustpilot page. Unfortunately, we have to conclude that the wide gaps in Trustpilot’s platform create an opportunity for those with ulterior motives to mislead potential and current clients. Instead of assisting consumers in making an educated decision whether to use our services, they may be left confused. Trustpilot is a discredited source. The constant monitoring and attempt at managing fake reviews, of course, requires a substantial commitment of time and manpower. Trustpilot's institutional negligence forces us to undertake that commitment in order to ensure as much as possible that the comments posted are legitimate. If you are a consumer who does seek informed advice about MyChargeBack, we have former clients worldwide who would be happy to share their real experience with you. If you would like to schedule a meeting or follow-up with someone on our team, please register directly on our website. Whether you chose to work with MyChargeBack or not, we wish you much success. And if you, like us, are a vendor, you are best advised to beware Trustpilot and opt to cooperate with one of its more dependable competitors instead.

Simply put theses guys get the job done…

Simply put theses guys get the job done with nothing else other than their know how, professionalism and persistence.
They achieved to do what I couldn’t, they recovered 100% of my lost funds.
I can not say enough wonderful things about this Company!!! I would’ve lost the lot without them.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending their services to anybody.
It’s rare to find Company that actually follows through with what they say.
Do not wait any longer if you’re in trouble, you’ll be glad (as I am) that you took the first step! They do EVERYTHING FOR YOU.

Best experience ever!!!!

Thank you a million times over guys! You’re awesome. God bless.

Frustration and anger are the only two…

Frustration and anger are the only two things I'm feeling at the moment. After years of trying to solve the case, I was recently told that I lost because Ombudsman refused to proceed. And now I received another call from MyChargeBack suggesting other approach to tackle the case which will require additional payments from my end on top of what I paid at the start. I was shocked that I was presented with this at this stage where it should have been done when I first requested their help back in 2018. I'm extremely disappointed and I do not think MyChargeBack is capable to help anyone - it feels as if it is another scam. Please do not waste your money, if they really cared, they won't have really helped in solving the issue.

Laila: We share your frustration and disappointment after waiting such a long time to hear back from the Ombudsman, and then finding out that the Ombudsman refused to take on your case. That's on top of the banks unexpectedly and unfairly refusing to reverse your PSPs.

The reason we mentioned the legal option (which we would do free of charge, though the lawyer we contract would require a retainer for his work) after you asked us if any more can be done is because we do care, and we wanted you to get your money back. The legal route can only be the third step in the process if the banks and the Ombudsman are not cooperative. In most cases, especially cases like yours, it is never the first option.

From the get go, we only take on cases that have a high likelihood of ending up with a successful recovery, which yours absolutely did. We put in 100% effort to build and present your case with the banks and the Ombudsman, but at the end, they make the final decision if they want to refund or not.

And, by the way, your 4-star review of the scam broker that took your money (that the FCA cracked down on) is still up on Trustpilot. We recommend deleting it so that others don't take it as an endorsement to give their money to them.

Fabulous service

I first learned of your service after looking at the reviews on line about the company that ripped me off. I sent a message and was called back promptly by your team when I explained my situation your team assigned Howard T to my case he thoroughly explained what we were about to do together. I have to say at this point Howard was exceptional totally professional and although at first my holding bank tried to fob us of with my complaint Howard was tenacious in getting them to raise the correct complaint. He called me a number of times to explain the process and how things would proceed. Your team reclaimed almost 11k for me thank you

Was scammed by golden markets in late…

Was scammed by golden markets in late 2018. Raised a chargeback with Barclays bank we are uk based. Whole experience with bank was a disaster due to there mishandling and lack of understanding with what had happened to us scam. Anyway chargeback failed. So year on late 2019 received Email from mychargeback saying they had recovered clients money from rogue company. Took the plunge with them had done due diligence regards to them from before. After making payment was assigned Rodney as case manager very shrewd and smart man. He asked for all paperwork to be sent to him via email so he could prepare case to Barclays on our behalf. Had several 3 way conversations on phone with Barclays giving Rodney permission to speak on our behalf as POA. Our charge back was unsuccessful this more to do with Barclays and the shoddy way they treat there customers. Anyone who been scamned time is of essence use mychargeback soon as possible to give yourself best chance get your funds back. I'm sure if I had used them when I was first scammed outcome would have been very different in my favour. Only issue I have is Rodney said last port of call for me is the ombudsman, had 3 phone calls arranged and been let down each time with no explanation. Last time I couldn't be bothered to email and ask why. I did post a review on here few weeks back, soon as posted review receive email scheduling a phone call to contact ombudsman. That day been and gone no one called. In my opinion no funds equals no commission for them. If not for this issue would given 4or 5 star. Just leaves bad taste in mouth as I'm taking time off work waiting for call that never comes. Put that to one side this a reputable company that may be able to help in right circumstances. Further to mychargeback reply below. They have scheduled a call with me next tues so will keep posted. Send my regards to Rodney decent guy and like I said in my post he knows his stuff

Sukhvinder: As you now know, Rodney was unexpectedly put into quarantine for two weeks after developing symptoms of COVID-19, so it took us a number of days to sort out and redistribute his work among his colleagues. We're sorry for the delay that was caused by those unforeseen circumstances. Fortunately, your case is back on track with one of our other recovery specialists, and a meeting is planned for tomorrow to discuss bringing the case to the ombudsman. Of course, due to the massive impact of the coronavirus, you may have to await the outcome of the ombudsman's review. Thank you for being patient. We live in an unusual time.

scammed again

I contacted mychargeback after viewing favourable reviews on Trustpilot after having been scammed by two forex trading companies. I had also been warned of scammers posing as recovery companies. I received a letter which I forwarded on to the bank for recovery of .credit card payments, I was then told my case would be handled by Eli, then my problems began. It took four months of emails to get a response and finally arrange a phone call to the bank to recover bank (wire ) transfers. Eventually got a reply from the bank , emailed Eli again, no response had to wait for a month to be eventually told. That was it, they had done everything and the bank would not pay up. I had paid £6000 for a letter and phone call, he then said they would be in contact about going after the recipients of the funds, which they haven't and why would they need to contact me about something they have already had a year to do. It is now nearly a year since their reply to this review and they still have not contacted me

Hopefully, they will then reverse their position and raise your dispute.

In addition, to clarify: We did address all four of your complaints as they were received.

STEER CLEAR, FRAUDULENT PEOPLE HERE

I was a client at MyChargeBack.com attempting to recover the cryptocurrency that was lost due to a fraudulent forex broker, tridixoptions.com, taking my online wallet at the time of payout. I hired these folks in May 2019. They were charged with trying to recover the bitcoin that was purchased in order to enter the forex fraudulent scheme at the said broker. Fast forward about a year and i have yet to make any headway in the funds recovery.

As many of you may have figured, the scammers have been smart and are at the head of many of these fund recovery organizations we find online. I have fear that these people are no different.

After a year of writing letters, the only pieces of success that this outfit has made was notifying the FBI and the UK authorities, the two places were the criminals cashed out my investments. The last email i received from these people informed of the thing they were UNABLE to do.

Not sure how this world has gotten so out of hand and how people have become so desperate for a dollar, but i suggest you stay away from these guys. They will not help.

Also, if you refer to their comments, they assume a client has the capability of individually filing a subpoena and serving a company. For specialists who claim to have the capabilities to recover your lost money, these folks clearly are incapable of carrying out the essential tasks required for these kind of cases. Had they done their due diligence versus just accepted a case for the fee, they would have understood the required elements.

For them to complain about abuse, is hogwash. These people would ignore emails, submit letter with dates and monetary values that were erroneous and tell the client that important details on their case are not of their concern.

My lawyers will be in contact with you all shortly to ascertain any loose ends or contractual binds you may assume you have on me or this situation are removed. Thank you for your efforts. Your services are no longer necessary and I unfortunately did not have a positive experience in our collaboration.

Gabriel, we sympathize with your situation. Your loss is also our loss.

It is emotionally stressful to be scammed and even more so when the money you lost cannot be recovered. Cryptocurrency is particularly difficult to recover since, by definition, tracing its path through the blockchain was designed to provide anonymity. For that reason, we were reticent at first to take on your case, but decided to do so because we were convinced that we would be able to provide at least some assistance to you. While we can never guarantee 100% results, we do guarantee 100% effort. And the record shows that we provided it, and more.

First, we went above and beyond our contractual obligation to you by retaining an attorney to draft a total of 16 legal letters, as you mentioned, to cover all the possible angles in tracing your assets.

Second, we provided a free Crypto Trace for you, which was not included in the contract that we drafted and that you signed. This Crypto Trace turned up the pathway and final ewallet destination of your cryptocurrency. That, in turn, enabled us to notify the FBI and appropriate UK authorities, as you mentioned.

Third, we also drafted a free police report for you (also not included in the contract that we drafted and you signed) which is in your hands. You are free to submit it to the police to seek a court subpoena that would cite the ID of the ewallet holder. According to the law, a police report must be filed by the person who was the victim of the crime, which is why we couldn't do it for you.

Therefore, there is no doubt that, during the many months of work we invested in your case, we did make significant headway. As a result, you can now pursue your case with the appropriate law enforcement agencies.

We should also note, however, that despite all of this, we were subjected to a significant amount of verbal abuse during your phone conversations with Iryna and Evan. (We reviewed the recordings and your comportment during those calls was truly offensive. We are very happy to share these recordings.)

We are disappointed with your lack of appreciation for our efforts that went above and beyond our contractual obligations. We obviously believed in the viability of your case, which is why we took it on, and were dedicated to your case all of the way through.

Despite your lack of value and appreciation for our work (including what you say and accuse us of in your review that you have posted above), we wish you success in pursuing your case with the police to eventually bring the scammers to justice, and your bitcoin back into your wallet (where it belongs).

Trevor, I understand that you are disappointed by the response from the ombudsman in your first case. We are also disappointed. After your chargeback was rejected, we pursued the case further with a few appeals to the ombudsman from your bank, which were unfortunately rejected by the bank. Though neither of us got the result we wanted, we did our best to put in 100% effort for you.

Your second case, as your recovery agent recently informed you, is still active and in progress, and we are hoping that it will come to a successful conclusion, depending on the cooperation of your bank.

Misleading info by Winchargeback

I was asked by Mychargeback to edit my review. And I guess this review is more about Winchargeback, than Mychargeback. But I can't dismiss George Leaders at Mychargebacks answer to my last review. He claimes that I failed to mention a crucial point; that I had borrowed the money. That is not true. I have recordings of all my phonecalls with G. Leader. I never mentioned a loan. Except that I obviously had to borrow money after Toptradepro cleaned me out. Second, G. Leader said since I could not pay the 3000 US they would not take me as a customer. In all fairness, this is true, except my mail was sent to "Winchargeback" witch according to their website, I filled all the requirements. I was involuntary connected to Mychargeback, but I already knew I could not afford the fee. Why could Winchargeback not contact me directely and explain why they did not want to have me as a customer? I consider this matter over and done with.

Having lost over £5,000 after dealing…

Having lost over £5,000 after dealing with an FX Trader group. I later found out this company wasn't licensed to trade in the UK I did a lot of research and saw reviews for MyChargeBack on this website.
I contacted MyChargeBack and after being advised of the charges I would incur, I decided to obtain their services.
I was advised about the initial fee and that later, their was a 20% commission fee, payable only if there was success in recovering the funds I'd lost.
I was guided throughout the process and given excellent advise.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company, as they gave me an honest evaluation right at the start of what to expect.
If they believe you have a chance of recovering money lost they'll tell you, but put no pressure on or shower you with promises, they can't keep to attain this.
To gain back the money that I'd been scammed was the best end to my year, which had started so badly. I'd like to thank my adviser and all involved in my case..

Don't bother if you're from Singapore

If you're from Singapore, don't bother. I've a case with them and it didn't work. They sent multiple emails to DBS/POSB. There was a 3 way conference call.
Singapore banks are just adamant in not doing the refund. Charge back relies a lot on the 'customers are always right' mentality.
If you're a Singaporean, let's be honest, our corporations here lack that mentality. So they don't wanna do that extra paperwork to help you. Take the loss as a lesson learnt, save your 3k and earn it back via work.

Gave 4 stars because when I had my initial consult, I was not fully aware that there were two fees to recover my lost funds. One fee to recover my funds via my credit card transactions and another fee for wire transfers. My consultant said I only paid for the credit card transaction after we spoke on the second consult and it required a different procedure and therefore, we could not proceed with the wire recovery. I was little disappointed because that was another fee I could not afford at a time when I was already scammed and short on funds. Did not go ahead and try to recover those funds that were transferred by wire. I asked how long it could take to recovery credit card transactions, was advised it could take up to 4 months whereas it took 6 months to recover.
There were a few months where I did not receive any emails from MyChargeback to see how l was progressing.
I was impressed with the amount of knowledge they have when it came to knowing all the different legalities for all the different locations around the world. They are professionals and I would still recommend them. I received a full refund and a phone call after I recovered all my funds and had the opportunity to discuss my concerns. Always good to talk to a person. Velocity

Unsatisfactory service fr Mychargeback

Mine was a case of investment fraud with Newport Legacy and its so called escrew agent in USA, which I was cheated US70K+. I engaged My chargeback in December 2018 to recover my loss. In Dev 2018, a gentleman named Markus fr Mychargeback 'guided' me to speak to my bank in Singapore via a 3 way conference call. A case was lodged with my bank but yield no results a few months down the road.

Since 2019, Mychargeback claims that it has, on my behalf, filed many complaints with different organisation such as JP Morgan bank, FBI and Dept of Justice. It is December now and no results whatsoever. Mychargeback hardly emailed or called me to update my case. I have to email them every month, and the reply is always short, a one short sentense telling me yet they have filed another complaint to a different organization or still waiting reply. I would say that the team is very unprofessional. The result, or the lack of it, speak for itself. I paid US3000 to Mychargeback last December, but the case has gone no where near any visible result.

In response to your post our customer satisfaction manager has now completed a review of your case. We share your disappointment that we have been unable to recover your funds, but the records show that an exceptional amount of work was indeed invested in your case. That included filing a complaint with the FBI in consultation with attorneys. In order to do so, by the way, we underwrote most of the costs of your case ourselves because we stand by our commitment to provide our clients with 100% of our effort. There remains one more avenue to pursue, if you wish, which is to file a court case against the merchant. Should you be interested in discussing that possibility, we would be happy to arrange a call with the head of our legal department.
