I had trouble with understanding the difference between an original and certified copy of my birth certificate. In NZ it’s acceptable to use the certified copy. I know it said original but many people don’t have this and it would help to have this stressed and what would be needed instead if it’s lost , this would have helped me. Being of an older generation I was certainly challenged. I appreciated the quick response from my consultation Madeline when I was anxiously waiting.

I was at a loss to where to go or who would help with my passport application and trying to get information at where or how far along my application was nonexistent until I got onto UK Passports. Living in Australia, born and bred in Scotland, I have just reapplied for my British Passport.
My contact from the UK Passport end was a lady named Leigh, she was assigned to my application.
I can honestly say, my Passport payment application was received on 06 May and I received my new Passport by courier in Perth, Western Australia today 11 June.
During this process, Leigh showed outstanding customer service and answered every little qualm I had.
She made the whole process relaxing for me, assuring me to email any time I was worried about anything.
I hope this feedback helps anyone who is nervous about the whole procedure, as I was a nervous wreck at the beginning.

I was trying to renew my U K Passport on line I was contacted by a female passport officer by the name of Glenda who I have to say was very helpful and patient as I had to submit passport photo several times before success so I would just like to say a big thank you to Glenda for her excellent service for an older client who is not very good with technology as I'm sure she knows. I live in Europe and I renewed my British passport because I recently changed my name. I enlisted MyBritishPassport to help with this because I had a disastrous experience with interacting with the HMPO directly when my passport was stolen a few years ago.
My consultant Jan was very friendly and always replied to emails promptly. There were some moments of confusion due to the nature of my case but overall the process was smooth and my passport arrived faster than expected. All the courier costs are included in the overall fee, which makes this service good value for money.
My only criticism is that there could have been better communication between colleagues within MyBritishPassport (such as accounting and the FAQ person), but otherwise I would fully recommend this service to UK nationals living outside the UK.

This is the third time Ive renewed my Passport.
Nicky was gave fantastic support and great patience on all my questions. Very quick in responding to my emails. Then the refunding me as have to pay for Courier from South Africa, the very next day! I look forward to using her services again in 10 years time!!

They were very responsive and worked with me to ensure that I had the correct paperwork before submitting it to the Passport office. This meant that when I submitted it, it was processed relatively quickly.

Instructions were clear and each step of the process was communicated clearly and effectively. The only downside that I feel was a bit of an issue was the manner in which DHL operates. Specifically:-
1. DHL have listed locations in many places but these are only "pick-up" locations for people receiving items. I only discovered this when I tried to deliver my old passport etc to a "local" DHL centre which meant I had to go back to square one
2. DHL don't give an estimated time they will pick up or deliver. This means one is unable to go out potentially for the entire day
