Although I'm just 2 weeks into the program, I have already learned many things I never considered before and my understanding and appreciation of music is definitely growing. I have already started learning new skills and insights on my way to becoming a complete musician.

I am currently taking the Superlearning Practice Plan.It has certainly helped me develop different strategies for practice that have helped improve my playing. The largest thing I have noticed is an increase in confidence,I used to fall apart playing in front of people but,I actually find it fun now.

The well structured approach made it easy for me to optimise the benefits from the course and the knowledge on how to practice more efficiently is definitely paying off.

I was just wondering where my Musicality book was and it arrived today. It was so well packed, with spacers and well protected in a box. It looks really good quality, can't wait to read it. Thank you!

It was good material, but it was rated as good for any skill level and promised quite a bit more than it delivered related to intermediate player. I thought it was fantastic for a true beginner, but for anyone with a bit of music theory or experience, it wasn't worth the cost or time.

I have been with Musical U for years and really do enjoy their programs. I ordered the musicality book about a month ago and still have not received it or any of the bonus material to go with it. So needless to say, I am bummed out about it.

This is teaching at its best. Concepts are presented in small lessons, making sure the student understands the foundation before moving to the next lesson. There is a feeling of being encouraged to explore and enjoy music.

I signed up for just about everything, and am enjoying it very much. Right now, I'm working my way through Beginning Ear Training and Super Learning, and both are excellent. I love it that it's always there whenever I have time or inclination to work on it.

I really loved all the practice methods, which I was already familiar with. I'm a piano teacher and I often suggest that my students use them. I will say that I found some of the concepts more useful than others. I liked learning about interleaving, but guess what? I was already doing that. My problem is that I have to have a lot of music ready for a piano lesson every week and the pieces are usually around 5 pages long and can be quite complicated. So, if I'm working on 6 pieces that are 5 pages long, that's 30 pages. I do practice in smaller sections, of course, but most of the time I HAVE to spend more than 5 minutes on a section or it will not go into my brain. I find that I really have to drill some passages. And, yes, of course, don't practice over and over something that I know already. Also, I will say I was little overwhelmed by all the emails. It seems like every message has a presentation attached to it. I honestly do not have the time to watch all that. But, all in all, it helped me look at practicing in some different ways and it did make sense.

I appreciate the care and thought Musical U puts into every one of its offerings...I'm looking forward to diving into "Musicality"—this tome which will be an incredibly valuable, thorough resource and reference for the continuation of my musical journey.

I came upon Musical U during the pandemic. It turns out what I found was not just the best possible (in my opinion) music learning program but also the most supportive, intelligent, interesting, skilled and kind coaches and an equally supportive, interesting, fun and engaged community of folks to go along with those teachers. Musical U offers an enormous range of topics for musicians of every stripe (from entry-level beginner to professional). Following their comprehensive and cleverly crafted programs you can learn everything from how to listen, to solfa, to the Circle of 5ths, to playing by ear, to improvisation, etc etc. But for me almost the best part is the global community of folks working to develop their own musical skills all the while helping others do the same. We even collaborate with one another on pieces through our platform. Musical U does require a certain time commitment, that's true, but it is so worth it. Try it and you might be surprised to discover aspects of music that you never thought about doing (or, that you never thought you'd be capable of ever doing) -- like improv or composing. Musical U will take you places beyond what you can imagine. Do try it.
