I booked a room with double queen size…
I booked a room with double queen size bed for two adults wanting 2 queen size beds. Other hotels use the term single queen size bed indicating one bed. Got to the hotel and found out there was only a single queen size bed. I was lucky that the hotel had one room left with two double beds. I wrote to Mobytrip and apparently that is just the language they use. I have never booked or seen a hotel refer to a double queen size bed before. There is a double bed, queen size bed, and a king-size bed. After paying for the room I was surprised that they charged me quite a bit more than I agreed-upon. I later found out I booked a Canadian hotel room in Canada and they charged me in US dollars. I contacted the company about my issues and was not able to get any reimbursement. I went back to the booking and the confirmation and the website and no where did it say it would be in US dollars.

I booked a hotel room for a night and I didn’t get to stay in it, I then booked another hotel room at a different place and did it for the wrong date, so then I had to make another reservation for the same hotel room just for the right date and still wasn’t able to stay in it. I contacted customer service who I then spoke to Ian. Ian handled my three hotel bookings and helped refund all 3 of them. Ian was amazingly helpful and kept communication with me throughout the week regarding my refunds.
Cancellation assistance in an emergency
I purchased a hotel with Moby trip because the power went out during a heat wave and moments after my purchase the power came back on. I contacted the hotel and Moby trip to help process my refund in my emergency situation and they resolved the issue even though I was outside the cancellation window within 5 minutes. Honestly the most efficient customer service I have ever had!
Bait-and-Switch Scam! Buyer Beware!
Would give ZERO stars if I could. Complete bait-and-switch scam. I reserved 2 rooms at their advertised of $85 per room (incl all taxes and fees), but they charged my credit card $120 per room. BUYER BEWARE!!!

The system canceled my reservation. I called, and within 30 minutes, they had refund approved, and processed 😁👍🏾
This place is A SCAM
This place is A SCAM. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! They take your money and DONT BOOK THE ROOM . I used them yesterday. They STOLE 109 dollars from me.There is only a FAKE ASS 800 number to contact them and they will NOT answer your texts or emails. And if by the chance you do get an agent, it's some overseas foreigner who's English is ATROCIOUS.

If I could put a zero rating I would. The hotel I stayed at agreed to give me a full refund for my room, I spent 5 minutes in it because it was filthy and horrible. They said to reach out to Mobytrip.com and have Mobytrip.com call them to let them know to refund my money but there is no contact information at all for Mobytrip.com

I was double charged for a room contacted customer service said I would get refunded that was over 3 weeks ago I'm not got refunded I'm not got a response to my last contact with them for over a week this is very poor customer service of something that happened at no fault of mine that said don't ever use this site again I will not

Got ripped off
Got ripped off. The site would not give me confirmation for my room I had booked. I booked my room on another site. An hour later I got an email that said I had a room. When I had canceled it because it said free cancellation. Went to my bank app and found out that they had charged me. I sent emails with no reply this site is a total rip off. They take your money. I do not recommend by no means using this site they have no customer service and charge you for something that you don't get it's despicable. This was my first time using it and my last book on any other site but this one because they will rip you off.

This site is an absolute bait and switch operation. I was quoted one price for my hotel room; got a confirmation with no price on it at all. At check out the hotel gave me the total for all 4 nights and I was charged substantially more. Upon asking Mobytrip they sent me an invoice which had different rates on each night of my stay. They promised to get back to me in 2 business days a month ago. Still no word. DO NOT use this site; completely a scam.

Do not use these guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Total rip off! Was charged by them and then charged by hotel! Hotel didn’t even have my reservation or payment from them in the system. (I did not cancel and I did not miss my check in, literally was at the hotel at 5pm) There’s no way to get a hold of these guys to get your money back! They take it and run! They create your “non refundable” transaction as soon as you hit submit payment and then never book the room for you. Big time Scammers please be AWARE!!!!! Make it even worse the hotel rate was cheaper then what they charged me..smh

I made a reservation
I made a reservation. Accidentally did it for the day after. Called the hotel the hotel said the third party booking being Moby trip needed to make the change. Jumped threw hoops trying to get a customer service person from this Moby trip finally I got an email ticket and was told they can't make the change and to call the hotel. I DO NOT SUGGEST BOOKING WITH THIS COMOANY! IM ALSO FILLING WITH THE BBB

I did my usual search for hotels near me at the time and that generally gives me a list of hotel websites and their prices. Mobytrip was the cheapest at $99. I made the transaction. Got to the hotel and they said it wasn’t paid for yet so I paid it. When looking at my bank account I saw mobytrip charged me $145 and some change and did nothing for me. I saw a $145 no-show/cancellation fee on their “website” which doesn’t allow you to reach any kind of support or customer service representative. I didn’t cancel or do a no-show.
