They said my total was just 44.95 do I agree I accepted then after the fact it says I had pay additional 20.33 cents it said TOTAL DUE 44.95 it's a scam n they argued me down saying the hotel can cancel no they can't fix mobys mistake n that I simply can't get my money back I started ask for supervisor none is available these are scammers completly
They didn't tell me that they didn't…
They didn't tell me that they didn't have a none smoking room and I have asma, but what they did told me is that no refund
Misleading, Scam, see other reviews too
All the other reviews are similar to mine.... Scam, charged me extra, never provided a receipt and are hard to work with.... charged me 147 to book through them with extra hidden fees they did not state. Could have just called the hotel directly and booked for 112 after tax. Dont use these guys they arent honest and arent providing value
Support was unable to assist me in…
Support was unable to assist me in getting my money back from a hotel I never stayed in. Support yelled at me calling me a liar instead of believing me, so now I’ve spent weeks talking to the hotel myself with Mobytrip not only just not helping in the first place but actually making things worse the whole time. Hire people that can speak English and can follow directions in calling hotels.
Stay away from this scam.
Well, I booked a room in Hilton JFK using this phony website upon arrival at the hotel I found out that the hotel is sold out I had to book myself another room in another hotel, stay away.
Worst Third Party App Ever!!!
Ive used so many third party applications because I travel often and stay in many hotels. This is the WORST COMPANY I have every dealt with in my entire life. I made a reservation for the wrong date on accident and instead of canceling it they charged me full night stay and then just stopped answering the phones!
Total SCAM!! DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!…
I recently booked a room with this company and Norman Bates Motel would have been an improvement!! For one there was no “Travelers Inn” in Sharon Springs and our GPS kept taking us to a run down, filthy looking place that must have once been called Budget Inn by the faded, barely readable sign. Doors were off hinges, the driveway was weeds and rocks!! NO WAY did we stay there and now I’m fighting to get my $ back! $ 151 for what?! I’m beyond pissed. It was late and were lucky that a local ( who we asked several if they knew where “Travelers Inn” was and no one had a clue) was nice enough to recommend a nice place nearby. NEVER AGAIN!! Total SCAM!!
Hidden fees and scam
Hidden fees and scam. You pay more going through them than directly through the hotel or maybe a more trustworthy booking company because they charge their own fees besides the hotel charging theirs. We didnt even end up staying in the hotel we booked after realizing we were paying way more than we originally thought , we went and looked for another hotel and now there’s no way to get our money back for that first hotel!
I called them because I booked the…
I called them because I booked the hotel at the wrong location. This was our wedding day!!! And they refused to help us, I called them the hotel clerk called and spoke with a representative and that person hung up on the hotel clerk. The incorrect hotel was almost 20 miles away same establishment but incorrect address that was booked. I will never book through this sight again they are unprofessional and not accommodating all about making the sale not about customer service!!! Trash!!!! We made it to our hotel at 1am ridiculous and unsatisfactory!!!!
Hidden fees
After booking a non-refundable stay, I was then informed of a "mandatory" resort fee (which is normally optional for items like use of the fitness club and valet parking). It increased the price by 50%. Had they been upfront about this fee I would have chosen a different option. I feel like they are a dishonest service.
The support service get my money back!
I accidentally book the wrong hotel date, the young lady did a amazing job, my reservation is cancelled and my money is back!
Fraudulent advertising
Fraudulent advertising. Mobytrip shows a lower price than other hotel booking websites so I used it. But I was charged a resort fee at check in. Mobytrip never showed me that there is a resort fee during my entire booking process. Mobytrip falsely show a low price and hide the resort fee so that you will choose it but you will end up paying more than other legitimate website like Expedia.
I got ripped off $46 by MobyTrip
I got ripped off $46 by MobyTrip. They charged me $143 for the "late night discount" room but only paid the hotel $97. I could have bought the room directly from the hotel. I won't use MobyTrip again! :(
Mobytrip charges excessive…
Mobytrip charges excessive nonrefundable fees
The hotels did not accept this third party vendor’s and the difference in room cost was $111 vs their $174

I booked a hotel stay at Red Roof Inn
I booked a hotel stay at Red Roof Inn through Mobytrip. While traveling to the motel, I had a traffic incident and called them to tell them I could not make the reservation and asked to put my money towards a motel in the area I was stranded in. RM, she called herself and also claimed she was a manager, told me they had a 24 hr cancellation policy and could not refund or transfer the cost of the motel. Totally unprofessional and unsympathetic to a customer's misfortune. Red Roof Inn pretty much said the same thing. It wasn't up to them to refund, it was the third party responsibility.
Complete and utter scam
Complete and utter scam. I wish I could give no stars. My debit card information was stolen and $316.52 was taken from my checking account. MobyTrip customer service was unhelpful and dishonest. They claimed to send me support tickets but then told me I gave them an invalid email address. They will not assist me in returning my money. In attempt tp file BBB complaint I called them to ask their mailing address. I was told by the agent (the only agent I spoke to multiple times) that she did not know. I asked where she was sitting. She said New York. I asked why she could not tell me her address if she knew where she was sitting. Am filing with BBB and Massachusetts AG.
clearly all the 5 star reviews are from…
clearly all the 5 star reviews are from employees themselves.. will certainly not to be booking anything through their website after the atrocious reviews i have read on here, f@÷= that
Booked a room
Booked a room , deducted the funds from my account, never emailed me the itinerary or confirmation number...ripped me off 52.06.
This company is very dishonest and…
This company is very dishonest and misleading. They are charging you in US dollars with not notation of the fact anywhere on the page when booking a reservation. Also when I was booking my reservation while travelling for this night I failed to notice that they automatically have it to the next day. So when I showed up to register I was told it was until the next night. Needless to say I am out the money and had to book another room.
I was charged for a hotel booking at the Hampton Inn/ Hilton
I was charged for a hotel booking at the Hampton Inn when the website declined my reservation because it said the reservation timed out when I still had 12 minutes left on the 26th of February. I was billed for it still on the 27th. I didn't realize till the 28th when my Bank alerted me to a fraud alert due to the fact that I ended booking the same Hotel thru the Hilton website.
