This is a new company to me, but l called because l obtained a 2nd hand chainsaw, & wanted to get as much information about it that l could & to find if parts were still available. Because l was impressed with the service, I decided to buy a good quality brush cutter. As l ordered it before 3pm, l had it delivered mid morning the following day, & found everything in excellent condition. Hopefully l will be using Mitox
more in the future

Bought a brand new 550 UX Brushcutter, used it for roughly 6 hours and the petrol tank has developed holes in it, not even on the outside casing, right on the inside next to the shaft, no way anything could’ve pierced it! Obviously cheap plastic. Not fit for purpose.

Have a Mitox hedge trimmer, since I bought it I only ever get 4-5 minutes running.
Then won't restart for a couple of hours

Sir I bought a mitox blower /vac two years ago . For a short time it was working fine then it would not rev, started ok took it to my local main dealer, small bill no change to the machine. My friend next door bought a strimmer and a blower. the strimmer was great but he also had problems with the blower which were not resolved. strimmer 4stars blower/vac1 (just for starting) do not buy , save your money

The service was excellent it assemble together easily. and very pleased with how it runs and makes a good job of things nice tool.

I bought a brushcutter online and the process was straightforward. The machine arrived within 24 hours as stated on their website..

I assembled the machine and within 15 minutes there was a problem because the casing had slipped off the vibration springs. It was a production error.

I rang Mitox who were helpful and put me through to their dealer in KIdlington. He refused to help as it was a warranty case, was rude and I certainly will not be buying from him in the future.

I rang Mitox and gave me a second dealer in Witney. He was polite and politely said because I did not buy the machine from him he would not touch it.

I rang Mitox and Andy in technical support was very helpful. We boxed up the machine, Fedex picked it up on a Friday and delivered it back on the Tuesday. Hopefully problem solved.

I guess the moral is to always deal with the organ grinder never his monkey!

Just purchased a mitox mt28. Must say, for the price, I am very impressed.

Packaged very well, does look very good quality whilst unwrapping.

Easy to assemble and started with no problems.
Engine runs very smoothly and responsive, unlike my cheap old multi tool.

Strimmer works well, as does the hedge trimmer.
Gearbox is a tad noisy but seems to work fine.

It is slightly heavy, but didn’t really cause me any problems.

Very happy with my mitox 280bvx blower and 460uvx brushcutter.
Delivery was quick.

Excellent service and got the item delivered really fast. I bought a Which? recommended petrol leaf blower/vacuum along with some accessories. The only issue that I faced was that many accessories were out of stock which makes our job hard as a customer to buy it from elsewhere. Otherwise overall a good experience. However, I am yet to assemble and use the product.

I was very impressed with the service from Mitox. This is my brand of choice due to reliability when I needed to replace my brushcutter of some 10 years. The model selected was a very competitive price and delivery was easily arranged The item arrived promptly and was easy to assemble. Great service all round.

I bought a Mitox 650DX Petrol Hedge Trimmer just under 2 years ago thinking that it would be worth spending a little bit more money than going for an own-brand machine from one of the big retailers. Since then I have had the primer plunger, fuel pipes and carb all replaced, twice (£60+ a time) and even then it is a real effort to start (make sure you start the process an hour before you actually want to cut anything). My other tools are all own-brand, all start first time, don't need to be mollycoddled when storing and starting. I have just given up with the machine now that the piece of plastic which attaches the starter cord to the engine has sheared. I will be giving this back to my local garden tools shop as I refuse to throw any more money at it.
