I used this app a good handful of times…
I used this app a good handful of times as its very convieniant if you cant afford a car in the city. I would give it 5 star if only they could load the yellow council rubbish bags onto the app. Its anoying that this is unavailable as its a nesscesity for every household. This actually stops me from using the app more, as in some cases its why I need to do a shop. The thing is the are available everywhere, corner stores. Dairys and supermarkets all stock them, so why not make them available on the app? I would do larger orders and make my main weekly shop on the app instead if the made this available.
Great for the desperate and lazy!
For the every now and then lazy person, this is a great app and business model, and the first 3 deliveries are free, yay!
However, they should incorporate the Woolworth's membership scheme, as prices are non-member prices, and marked up to boot! For example, Pringles 95g mini pack is $3 if you go to Woolworth's but on the app it's $5. I'm all for a small markup, to go towards picking products, but sometimes the markup on each product is too much, and remember, you're purchasing several products marked up, I believe the minimum order is $25.
Anyway, great for the desperate, and in times of need, and if you can afford the markup prices. It is useful. And please make sure the available products are truly available. :)
Thanks!
I've used this service a few times now…
I've used this service a few times now and couldn't be happier with my experience. As a busy couple with a large family, both working full time and juggling extra curricular activities, household chores and shopping outside of work hours was getting harder. Milk run has given us time back and we actually save money
as we are not impulse shopping while tired. Our food is packaged well , arrives quickly and the delivery drivers have been great. Such a fantastic idea
Poor service
Ordered pre packed salmon, few packets for the weekend, arrived after 8.30 pm on the 23/4,use by the 27/4, so 3 full days before use by, MILKRUN say it has 5 days ,they include 23 which is gone, and the use by date 27 th
Completely wrong product was picked.
Completely wrong product was picked.
Item was not substituted and they just chose the wrong item of the shelf. Milk run have never replied to any of my messages.

Saw it on my Rewards as a Boost ..
I Gave it a Go.
And I gotta say -- It was Quick - and it was Easy - and the App is very User Friendly.
So - its a BIG 5 Stars from me. Well Done.
I thought I’d give this app a try…
I thought I’d give this app a try even though I’d always been dubious but I don’t have a vehicle so needs must. I ordered Diet Coke and Coke no sugar arrived. On my invoice it said they’d been substituted. I have been charged for items I won’t use as they don’t taste the same. It was a mission for me to speak to someone to get this sorted and I’m still unsure it it was a person. I won’t be using this again in case I order lamb mince and beef turns up
If there is no one to go to the store…
If there is no one to go to the store for you & money is no problem, great app.
But if you can't afford to pay at least $1 more for each item and a delivery fee, it will be cheaper to just get in the car and get it yourself. Handy if money isn't an issue, but for those that only have a limited income, adding $1 per item on average (Just what I looked up as I needed now & didn't want to drive, A range of items from personal care, cat food, Laundry liquid and basic food, all were per item at least $1 dearer than on the woolworths app. I can't afford to pay $8.00 extra on the items plus $7 delivery fee, when I could get to the store & back at least twice for that amount of money $15 extra. Happy to pay a delivery fee, but don't hide costs by upping the items cost. Glad I did my comparison on prices before ordering. But as I say, if money isn't an issue, brilliant idea.
Advertising what's not available as available is clickbait
Ordered 5 bags low-carb bagels, 3 lemons and a chips. 3 lemons and chips arrived but not the oh so important bagels. Paying $5 bucks delivery for those is absurd. Advertising what's not available as available is click-bait. I can only go by what's shown on the app as available. It is not difficult to take down products that aren't available on the app. I should've been given the option to cancel the order. Such a scam. Not using your service again.
Great company and prompt delivery…
Great company and prompt delivery service but the website and app need filters to make product searching easier

Missing items every time
Missing items every time. Recently they missed a whole bag of groceries then refused to give a refund because I didn't contact them immediately. I won't be using this service again
Bad business!
Bad business!
The delivery person left my food in the street on a main road. It was then stolen. Still waiting in a refund. There is no customer service here
Highly concerned about ethics
Highly concerned about ethics. I ordered a couple of bottles of wine with an order tonight and when the delivery person finally arrived he said he needed to take a photo of my license to keep as a record. This is the first time this has ever happened, I have usually asked to show ID and share details. Never has anyone asked to take a photo to keep as a record of my ID for a delivery. I do not know the driver and felt this was a scam. They record ID’s and when I called to question they could not explain why or how this is actually a legal process or what they use this information for. I will not order from Milk Run again, it is not the same experience as before Woolies took it over with lovely delivery service and decent people. It was so unclear when I called to ask if this is true, the help line could not clearly explain and just apologies for “inconvenience caused”, help centre now seems to be offshore with the standard responses too which is sad. This whole experience seems very unethical to me and highly concerning, particularly as I am obviously over the legal age as my license says so.
WARNING!!! - Perfect example of what a mega corporation can do to a great business model and completely destroy it!
Milk.Run was once an excellent business and then Woolworths happened. We first started using Milk.Run in 2020 and literally within 10 minutes of placing the order, every time, the person delivering our order was knocking on our door. Enter Woolworths who fire sale buy Milk.Run after using its monopoly power to destroy its business model and delivery time goes from 10 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Not only this, the quality of the goods they deliver are way down. Way to go Woolworths for wrecking everything. I will never use this service again!
Might work if your local shop is a…
Might work if your local shop is a proper Woolworths. Ours is a metro. Arriving home from overseas so to organise lunch I ordered ham, avocado, tomato, lettuce, cheese and Jumbo white rolls.
The avocado is like a rock and they substituted white jumbo rolls for stale dry wholemeal small rolls which are like rocks. Won't be doing that again.
Absolutely terrible service
Absolutely terrible service , order was delivered to completely wrong address and then after providing proof of this they refused to refund a $87 dollar order.
