I loved our purifiers at first, but there's a reason for the bad reviews about their customer service, here and on other websites. Their reps are awful! Completely dishonest and unwilling to help with any account issues, and the website magically glitches and makes it nearly impossible to adjust your subscription. I've now paid for three filters I don't need because I wasn't given notice that I was about to be charged, but they refuse to admit an error on their side—even claiming they have proof I opened the email. And you can't return the filters once they've been shipped, apparently? The machines themselves are also not worth the hassle. They're loud at an unpleasant pitch, and they're not 'smart' in any way whatsoever. There are bad reviews all over the place for a reason, don't be fooled.
EDIT: Their reply below is nonsensical and useless, and only public-facing. My biggest issue is the fact they charged me and shipped three filters without any advanced notice, would not allow me to make any changes on the website, and then lied repeatedly despite violating GDPR. Garbage company.
EDIT AGAIN: They’ve updated their response below claiming they always notify customers of upcoming charges. I was absolutely not notified of my latest charge, and I am 100% sure of this. They insist they have proof I was. This is false, as I would have logged in immediately to delay my subscription. Their “Cares Squad” does not care about customers. If they did, they would own their mistake and offer some form of compensation. Instead, they dig their heels in insisting I received an email I was never sent, because this violates GDPR. Now, rather than make it right, they’ve lost a customer—something they’re very good at based on other reviews.

Great customer experience. I'd had my Mila for over a year so it was out of warranty. I reached out because the unit was becoming increasingly loud to the point that visitors would ask where the noise was coming from. I'm guessing it was from a faulty batch. The team handled my request very well and offered me a replacement unit which came the next day with no hassle. Thank you for doing the right thing, my new Mila is perfect and quiet.

We have 4 units, they seem to be working well but are not as quiet as they were when I first received them. App is great, customer service is great and quick. Replacement filters are pricey but live up to their ability to purify the air.

I've had my Mila for almost 3 years and it's been great. The app is easy to use and fun. A few years ago I had an issue with Mila and received a replacement that works great. I also just had an updating problem that I was able to troubleshoot with the customer support over email, which I love because who wants to talk to a person on the phone, and it was super quick and easy. I feel like it's a great product and great customer service.

Had another air purifier before and isn’t a patch on Mila! So beautifully designed - it’s almost a piece of art or sculpture. Still working perfectly after 3 years of ownership. Great array of filters for different uses and works incredibly well. Reduced sneezes a lot! Great service too!

I am an early adopter, kickstarter days, and had some noisy fan issues. Mila was super cool about replacing the faulty units with poor fan quality. Overall, these units are awesome. Fantastic customer service. Mila tends to mitigate any device issues with attentive customer service. They do stand by their product and have been good about replacing the units with the loud fans. Great app as well.

My mila Doesn’t seem to react to Voc readings. Also if I change auto mode to housekeeping it doesn’t react. If the AQI is good does it not react

I bought two Mila in 2022. I’ve now had both of them replaced and the same awful noises have come back. They’re out of the warrantee by a year so my assumption is they only last for a year and then they break. On top of this the filters are expensive and my total spend is now over £1000 for something that doesn’t work.

My Mila was acting crazy ! New unit ! Extremely high AQI ! Fan never turned off all of a sudden ! Apparently they sent a software update to the unit an and fixed it ! Very responsive to their customers !
