I can't even express how terrible my experience with Mila has been. First of all, if your unit malfunctions (two of mine have) outside of 30 DAYS you can't even get your money back.
Then if it it's out of their warranty period, you are just out of luck and they give you some crappy discount to what? Just buy another.
I fell for this sunk cost fallacy once and now that it's happening again I'm out a ton of money on a piece of garbage that doesn't even work properly.
Trust me, GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

Great when it works! Not so great policy if it breaks now i have two units that are impossible to recycle or fix in my area. Never again. Loved them while they worked, looked nice in my home, but for the money I spent I'm super disappointed. Bought in 2021 Date box won't let me fill it in that far back.

I purchased two Mila air purifiers in 2022, and unfortunately, both units have proven unreliable. One has already failed, and the other has started making unusual noises and appears to be heading the same way.
When I contacted support, Mila acknowledged that my unit was from their first-generation product and that they have since moved on to newer versions with upgraded components and different manufacturers. However, despite this, they declined to replace the faulty unit because it was outside the original warranty period.
Given the price of these devices and the realistic expectation that an air purifier should last significantly longer than a couple of years, this was extremely disappointing. The response essentially amounted to explaining how much better their newer models are rather than resolving the issue with the existing product.
In my view, the warranty period is too short for a product like this, especially given reports of reliability issues with earlier versions. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mila and will be switching to another brand.

Bought a purifier in 2021 and the machine lasted two years. This product is too expensive ($500 CAD) to only last two years before having issues. It worked on and off after the two years. The company offers a two-year warranty against defects. I feel their product should not be on the market. They knew there was a problem and did nothing to inform users who bought the one version that there was a known issue of motor bearing failure. The only solution was to offer their upgraded purifier for a discounted price.
I'd be interested in knowing when the company knew of the defect/issue and never informed customers.
I have another purifier that was used in a different room/floor and it was bought years before the Mila and has outlasted it, also at a fraction of the cost.

I owned a Mila originally purchased in 11/12/2021. In the same time, I also purchased a Germ Guardian and a Coway Air Purifier. I have replaced filter every 6 months - year. The Mila fan and screen stopped working in Dec 2025. 4 years is not bad lifetime, but when the other purifiers brands are still working fine, I would not recommend Mila.
The Support team is responsive and nice, mentioned that my unit is understandably out of warranty. I was offered a generous discount to purchase a newer model, but with would rather invest in a different brand that lasts at least 8-10 years.

Tech is great ONLY if it works. I purchased three and only one is still working and is extremely loud as all the internal components make loud noises. I’ve replaced them several times and had to pay $100 for each replacement and those stopped working as well. Terrible product. Dont let the technology fool you. Breaks down all the time.

Very poor. Pre ordered Mila mini back in may and paid for it. Time after time delivery has moved August then November and guess what December and still nothing. Would not recommend at all. Poor communication have to chase for updates yourself.

Illegal, fraudulent behaviour. Refuse to cancel my subscription. Bypass a merchant block on my credit card. Refuse to answer emails. Predatory behaviour and violates the UK consumer rights act. Unfortunately not the first time and this company is a recurring nightmare. Their customer service are very rude. Shocking behaviour displayed here. Money grabbing service.

I have had my Mila’s for two years now. I needed to replace one so I reached out to their customer service department. They responded quickly and were able to help me out within 24 hours. Their communication was clear and they kept their promise on the war warranty. I love this company.

I purchased a large Mila air purifier several years ago, and was pleased enough with it that I bought a second, smaller unit afterwards. They can sometimes be a little slow to pick up on increasing particulates due to cooking, but are generally pretty good machines. That being said, when you buy one, you're immediately enrolled into a filter renewal plan that you can't chance or cancel without emailing the "customer 'care' team."
I keep my windows open during the summer, so don't generally run my purifiers year round. As a result, I don't need regular deliveries of filters.
Several months ago, I emailed and requested to cancel my filter subscription. The "Care" team said they did that. But it turned out that they only canceled the recurring order for one machine. The other was still in place.
Fast forward to earlier this week when I was notified that an order had gone through. I emailed the customer care team and asked to cancel, but the filter was already on its way and there was nothing anyone could do to stop it. As a result, I am out $73 for an air filter I don't need. On top of that, there was no real apology of any kind for not canceling both subscriptions, or any offer of even a partial refund for the error. Typical corporate behavior at this point, but truly obnoxious nonetheless. This type of behavior is deliberately designed to ensure that companies rake in as much money as possible from consumers. I don't like it.
My recommendation is that you don't do business with these people. You can get perfectly good air purifiers for less money with filters that are easy to get and can easily be purchased on an as-needed basis.
