If an item is out of stock lucy is always on hand to advise on an alternative.

Fraud by deception scam AVOID sell items they do not have on stock then claim to send refunds when do not. Save yourself the hassle.. the positive reviews are clearly BOT generated!

I ordered my products in October 2022. Still not delivered eventhough the vustomer office reasured me in November that the goods were sent and should be delivered between 6 and 22 working days.
I would say that this web site is a fraud and that you should avoid it.

Never received my item. Reached out to customer support who told me it had been delivered.

I placed an order on 14 December (in time to guarantee Christmas delivery, according to the website). It was a Christmas gift for my son in law. I was subsequently informed that part of my order was out of stock and they had not had time to update stock quantities on the website (the item is still showing as available stock today - quite misleading). They said they could offer an alternative and would waive the additional cost (the alternative was actually much cheaper!!) As I didn't want the alternative product they offered, I ask for this one item to be refunded, but looked forward to receiving the rest of the order (two items - with the value of £77.50). I was assured that the rest of my order would be received prior to Christmas.

Three weeks later, while my refund has been received, the rest of my order has still not been delivered and now the Male Skin Luxe have gone very quiet on me and are not responding to my emails. I have today requested a full refund and will purchase the goods direct with Elemis.

Great selection of products, particularly the Dermalogica brand.
Overall I found all products were very competitively priced & felt confident in ordering from Maleskin.

Most competitive prices on the market. Super speedy delivery. Excellent communication throughout and great customer service.
Will be using this retailer for all future purchases of my medik8 products.

Product choice is great and the prices/promotions are really good value. Had an issue with a late delivery but customer services (Lucy) were straight on it, investigating and responding brilliantly. Excellent company to deal with.

This is such a thoroughly bizarre company it is difficult to know how to write this review. I am honestly torn as to whether they are operating a scam or are just incompetent, or perhaps a bit of both?

My experience has been similar to most other negative reviews on here. I placed a large order of Baxter's of California products, and then received an email saying that just one of those items was out of stock, and asking if I would I accept a similar produce from a brand called MMUK instead. The email was very polite and apologetic, so I thought as its only one product of a large order it was worth giving them the benefit of the doubt. I discovered on receiving the order that they had replaced an additional Baxter's product with an MMUK one without checking with me. This struck me as odd, and when I emailed to complain they put it down to an error in stocktaking and that they wanted to get the order out without further delay. This seemed very unusual as the standard recourse would be to just ship the items you do have, not try and guess whether a customer would be happy with a replacement product.

I googled the MMUK brand and they appear to have the same owners as Maleskin, and are not stocked in other similar cosmetics stores. From what I can tell, their website shows large stocks of lots of brands but they have little of this actually in stock. When you order from this they then try to push their own brand onto you. They do not update their stock on the website, which presumably leads more customers to place orders and end up in a similar situation. Perhaps they do have unique stock issues and are struggling to manage these, but many of the products they claim are out of stock are readily available from other retailers. If this were the case, why not update the website to reflect it? A look through other reviews for Malekin (and Maleskin Luxe, and Maleskin premium etc.) shows that they've done this to countless other customers.

I decided to return the MMUK products, but getting a refund on these items has been arduous. I have received a refund for one of these items, but not the other despite requesting it on multiple occasions. They have said that they've finally sent the original item out to me (not yet received) despite my request for a refund (I've since bought the item elsewhere). They are polite and apologetic in their email exchanges, and give the impression of going out of their way to help you. But the end result is still extremely frustrating, and something just feels off with the whole operation. For instance, they seem to trade under a number of variations on the Maleskin name with multiple versions of the same or very similar website.  Their presence on Trustpilot appears disingenuous for numerous reasons (multiple profiles, flagging 1 star reviews, lack of verified reviews etc.)

Overall this has been a bizarre experience that I will not be repeating.  I'm sure they will reply to this and refute it. Perhaps I am wrong and they are not scammy, and just grossly incompetent. Either way, neither amount to a good experience for the customer so I would recommend avoiding and shopping elsewhere.

22/11 update - despite lots of emails, they've still not refunded me. A scam operation. Avoid.

Only 5 Stars given to appear the top of the list. would have given 1 star, but they don't deserve that. Scam company who take your money and you never hear from them. Contacted my bank regarding this scam.

Do not use this site!

Both the products and the service are first class. I stumbled across Maleskin looking for a different product but ended up with an even better product after an excellent consultation from Lucy. I keep going back form more.
