Car hire in Rome and La Mezia
Car was good. Organisation after the 1st month was a bit of an issue, I hired the car in Rome, then again in LaMezia for an additional few weeks. Finally sorted this out. Rules seem to change a little, depending on who you speak to. Overall, once sorted out it was all good.

Perfect rental for your vacation
I had a great experience with Locauto. Instead of the small car I booked, I was given a larger SUV with an automatic transmission, which was a very pleasant surprise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the whole rental process was quick and completely hassle-free. Everything went smoothly from pickup to return. I would definitely rent from Locauto again!

I did not receved the car that i booked…
I did not receved the car that i booked and there was no upgrade for switch... Upgrade for my opinion should be more space in the trunk and not less....
Staff was ok with me.

Perfect for anyone who wants complete peace of mind while on vacation. The final price of €95 per day for a Peugeot 2008 included full insurance, which is a huge advantage if you simply want to enjoy your holiday without constantly worrying about possible damage to the car.
Another major advantage was that there was no security deposit required. This made the whole rental experience much simpler and stress-free. With some other rental companies, even when you purchase their so-called “worry-free” packages, you may still have to leave a substantial deposit and then worry about possible deductions or unexpected charges when returning the car.
What I really appreciated was the transparency: no hidden costs, no extra charges for excess mileage, no security deposit, and comprehensive insurance coverage that provides genuine peace of mind.
When comparing prices, other rental companies were asking around €140 per day for the same car and a supposedly “worry-free” package, yet their coverage could still be more limited and often involved additional conditions, deposits, or potential charges. With Locauto, I felt that the price I paid was genuinely straightforward and offered excellent value for money.
For anyone who prefers to know exactly what they are paying upfront and enjoy their vacation without worrying about deposits, unexpected deductions, hidden costs, or possible surprises after returning the car, I would definitely recommend Locauto.
