Terrible Experience-Be warned!
Horrible customer service experience trying to return a defective item I purchased online. Had to call customer service, send pictures, get it verified. Long process but understand they want to verify I’m being honest. Once it was verified defective the CS rep said I wouldn’t be refunded for the shipping charges (9$) to receive the item. I called and was told the same thing on the phone even as I read their own policy. Was then passed on to the manager/supervisor who said the same thing. It was only after I sent a screenshot of their online return policy for defective items that they agreed to refund the 9$ shipping. They obviously do not care about customer experience, loyalty. I will no longer be shopping at la vie en rose. They lost a customer over 9$ and from the other horrible reviews about shopping online with them, they don’t care. Take this as a warning and go somewhere else for your bras! (Aerie has been great)
Erroneous System Issue
I randomly received a receipt email for a purchase I made in December 2025 in April 2026, 5 months later! I called customer service and they said they had an erroneous system issue. I am now left doubting the safety of my data under this company, it is very sketchy! If they can't even manage the receipts properly through the system how can I trust their IT team to keep my data safe?
Do not buy the Newex period panties…
Do not buy the Newex period panties unless you want to feel like you’re wearing a maxi pad from the 80s. The sales lady that helped me totally lied and said the light absorbency is “very thin” when I went to see them and told her I wanted to check them out before ordering Knix online. I bought them and got them home and they’re so thick! I can only imagine the higher absorbency is like wearing a diaper. Save your money and purchase Knix - their higher absorbency were thinner than the light at La Vie En Rose.

Fitting room sales person Olivia...where customer service and a smile is often lacking in the retail world at the moment : Olivia has it down...helpful, courteous, non pulsed by a busy fitting room.
Toronto Outlet store is fortunate to have her dealing with the public...thanks for such a friendly, knowledgable & helpful experience Olivia!

I purchased a few bra sets from La Vie en Rose in January, and it was my first time trying their bras.
I bought some bras 3 months ago. After only a few uses, one of the bras unfortunately came apart on the side (I’ve attached photos). I was quite surprised, as it had not been worn much.
Another style started to pill after the first wear. I was expecting a bit better durability from these items.
Excellent customer service!
I dealt with Calgary Southcentre's Janet from initial phone questions to getting wonderful help finding the garment I was searching for. She explained sizes, all the while being very friendly, patient & courteous!
would never buy from them again
I went to the store and had my measurements taken by their professional, I ordered one size smaller, since it did not look right, and it ended up being 2 sizes bigger,
so if it's not bad enough I had to pay for delivery, now I have to pay for shipping it back, which half of the cost of my item.
la vie en rose’s delivery partner
My only issue with la vie en rose is that they have chosen to deliver their packages with puralator instead of Canada post. Every time, it’s a hassle to receive a delivery from puralator.
so many issues with this company
so many issues with this company.
1. they use a canada post address finder but they do not use canada post for shipping. Rural cities (even Banff, AB) cannot receive deliveries for this ridiculous issue.
2. sent me a shipping email but did not provide a tracking #
3. i used the chatbot to ask what my tracking number is, they recommended I speak to a live agent. I immediately get a notification that it is ourside of business hours even though they work until 6pm est and it is only 5pm est when I reached out.
4. i phoned to get help with an order and the customer service agent could not have been more unhelpful. recommended i have my order shipped 1.5 hours away and go to pick it up there. this is the only canadian company that refuses to ship to canadian addresses. it's a joke.
Did not send me 4 items I ordered…
Did not send me 4 items I ordered totalling $100, but my order included 2 items I did not order. Will not give me an ETA on when they plan to send me the items I paid for and are expecting me to return the incorrect items they sent me before tgey will ship me what they owe me. I have been trying to manage this issue with customer service for 3 months with no resolution in sight.
Stop bothering your customers
Managers should definitely stop forcing sales associates to bother the customers every single minute. I’ve been to their different locations, and every time their impertinent staff would not let me browse in peace for a moment as each of them would approach me literally one by one to distract me from my search and ask generic questions like “is everything ok?” At the same time those associates do not look friendly at all and you can see how they hate doing this and talking to you.
When I had a couple of items in my hands but wanted to browse more, the associate insisted on taking my items to the fitting room, and after I’ve waited in line forever she completely forgot about my items and realized she lost them somewhere!
When you eventually get to try your stuff on in the fitting room, they will not leave you alone either and will keep knocking on your door and asking if the fitting is going ok all the time.
Super annoying and makes me want to avoid going to their stores whenever I can buy my underwear somewhere else.
If ever you wanna look like an old…
If ever you wanna look like an old grandma accidentally wandering onto the beach, La Vie en Rose is absolutely your place.
These bikinis have the magical power to age you by 40 years the second you put them on. The cuts are awkward, the fit is tragic, and the fabric feels like it was designed for surviving a nuclear winter, not sunbathing. The styles somehow manage to be boring and unflattering at the same time, which honestly takes talent. You don’t wear this bikini to enjoy the beach; you wear it to rethink your life choices while staring at the whales.
If your goal is to feel uncomfortable, frumpy, and wildly overcharged for the experience, congratulations: you’ve found your brand.

Very disappointed with the quality and customer service.
I purchased a 3-piece swimsuit set from La Vie En Rose, and I was excited to wear it for the first time at a water park. I only wore two pieces of the set, and to my shock, the color changed immediately.
The swimsuit was originally green, but after wearing it once, it turned gray.
The worst part is that I did not even wash it yet — the color change happened while wearing it.
Many of my family members were with me at the same water park, and they were wearing swimsuits from different brands, including Shein, and none of their swimsuits had any color fading or discoloration except mine.
I contacted customer service and provided photos as proof, explaining the situation clearly. Their response was extremely disappointing. They said they could not do anything because they have “never had a similar complaint before” and insisted that it must have been caused by improper washing — even though I clearly explained that the swimsuit had not been washed at all.
It’s unacceptable to pay for a swimsuit from a Canadian brand and have it lose its color after one single wear, and even more disappointing to receive such dismissive customer service.
I will not be purchasing from them again and I do not recommend this product to anyone looking for quality swimwear.

Daughter fighting back tears with rude staff at Sunrise Centre store in Kitchener.. felt made fun of and shown no empathy in return process. I will no longer buy anything from LaVie en Rose

I recently placed an order during a sale, but upon receipt, I noticed that some items were missing. I contacted the store promptly, and after investigation, I was informed that the management team had confirmed all items were shipped and, unfortunately, they are unable to offer refunds or reshipments. While I understand these policies, I found the situation somewhat disappointing and felt that a greater level of responsibility and customer care could have been demonstrated. As a result, I am hesitant to shop here again.
Gift receipt vs original receipt
Sales associates should ensure customers understand the refund policy. The "holiday return policy" on their website and receipt also isn't clear. On Monday Jan 5, husband returned 3 items that he had purchased for our daughter on Dec 22, 2025. Nothing worn, original tags still on. At the time of the return he only had the gift receipts with him. Sales associate should have explained original receipt was required for a full refund. Instead she refunded the amount onto a gift card. If he knew he needed the original receipt he would have easily returned home for it.
Buyer beware
Buyer beware. My husband went to an in-store La Vie en Rose location in our area. Unfortunately, they did not have the sizes that he was looking for. The customer service representative in-store assured him that anything he ordered online would be fully eligible for a return should it not work out.
Much to my dismay, there were a couple of items in the order that were not of the right size, and when I went to return it in store, because it was paid using PayPal online, in fact you were not eligible to return it at all. You were only eligible to get a gift card. You could mail it back, which is cumbersome, and they would deduct the amount of shipping from it. But ultimately, I'm now stuck with a $91 gift card, which I don't want. For this reason, I will not never be shopping at La Vie en Rose again. That is a terrible policy and very misleading of the sales clerk and the store overall. Buyer beware.

We very much appreciated the "plus-size" selections, that are now available!
Get some tissue for purchases
No one helping. $2.00 for a small bag. So.... we're advertising for them and they're overcharging for bags. The worst part is that they didn't even have tissue to wrap the purchase in case it's dropped or to keep it clean. Bag charge should be a token amount and there should be tissue. You should take a lesson from La Senza. Didn't get a bag on principle and will think twice about shopping there next time.
They have horrible customer service
They have horrible customer service. Misleading website says 2 for 1 and you don’t get the 2nd one. Do not shop here.
