Good but no exercise bands and also studios locked at night.

Staff engagement

When you go after a certain time (mainly night) majority of the machines are shut off... I understand some equipment need times to power off and have a break but its annoying when you pay for the membership or need to do a specific workout and can't use the machines because they're either off or people are using the limited ones that are left on. Other than that theres a good variety of weights to be used downstairs and whenever I have gone the areas are clean and tidy.

It is a great gym it it reasonably priced and provides lots of things for people and everything works great

I recently joined JD Gyms Charlton and have nothing but praise for the facilities and the staff who work there but trying to deal with any admin problem or talk to anybody in customer services about your membership by email or phone seems to be very difficult and some email replies give me the impression they are automated. If it is not something that you can easily do online yourself then its not easy and I think it is area that needs improvement. I will add that when you do eventually speak to someone in Bradford they seem to be very pleasant and helpful.

My previous gym Pure Gym were very easy to contact and speak to about any admin issues and their online platform made it easier to resolve some issues like freezing and unfreezing.

It’s the best gym I have ever been

I have been with a personal trainer at JD gyms Middleton called Brandon. I have been having sessions since March. I could not recommend him enough. Throughout he has been patient, empathetic and understanding. He has provided me with the tools to achieve my goals and live a healthy lifestyle and I cannot thank him enough. He’s a credit to the company and will go far in the fitness industry

No Aircon, not good enough for almost 30 quid a month

It s well organised

I have a disability which means I can't use the entry pods and need access to the disabled entrance. I have emailed JD Bradford three times to request it and nobody has got back to me. I then emailed JD Gyms general to see if they could help and again nobody has got back to me. It's over two-weeks since I joined and have been unable to go to the gum unless I get the access code.

The gym it self is very spacious and tidy and clean but the changing rooms and the toilets and showers and sauna have a really bad smell of sewage and is very sickening to smell

Lack of air con at JD Rotherham

Went to the gym at 9:00 PM expecting it to be quieter, but it was still extremely crowded. I had to wait for almost every machine and exercise, which made the workout much longer and less enjoyable. The equipment and facilities are good, but the overcrowding during late evening hours is disappointing. Hopefully the gym can find ways to manage peak times better.

I felt welcomed and easy to use machines

Gosh where do I start! I’m a mature lady who was dubious about joining but I can honestly say don’t delay! I nearly joined David Lloyd at £170 and used this as a stop gap. Now not joining as this is AMAZING, friendly, clean and lots and lots of space !!
