My payment has been pushed back…

My payment has been pushed back multiple times. I was approved for the full amount and I’ve had to constantly call and email. I keep being told my payment will be sent and it doesn’t happen. Nice customer service when they respond or answer. Been 8 days since approval.

Terrible company

Terrible company.

Not even going to fully mention the first experience I had with them. Took MONTHS to receive payment.

As far as the second experience, I sent a phone to them and described it truthfully as per there options on their website and weeks after they received it I messaged them and they told me they didn’t send payment because they couldn’t buy it because it was locked to Verizon. I literally chose “Verizon locked” before sending the device to them. I mentioned this to them and didn’t get a response about that. I eventually had to tell them to return the device or I’d file a police report. They returned the device.

Won’t deal with them again. Very bad business.

FIVE+ STARS

Sold iCellGlobal my iPhone 8 for a great price and it was so easy to do. They provided a label that was easily printed. A few days after shipping out phone I was paid immediately to thru cashapp. Most importantly they were with me every step of the way as I called to check the status a few times. Great service, great prices, great company!

Great company and great prices

I had an amazing experience with this company. I sent in 2 phones and was paid out quickly with no issues. I would definitely sell to them again and their prices are generous. They were communicative every step of the way and paid out as promised.

STAY AWAY - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS

Sounds like I am having the same experience as everyone else recently. Sent in 2 phones, they said they will not be honoring their prices because they are updating their website and that takes time, said they needed to call Verizon and that takes weeks....not even sure what that even means.It's been over a month now - They have 2 of my phones and refuse to send them back to me and now have stopped answering emails. DO NO TRADE IN YUOR DEVICE WITH THIS COPMANY

Your devices were sent in as Brand New, but were graded as Good. They were also locked to Verizon and still tied to an account. We returned your devices since you did not want to wait and mediate this situation, so the next option is for us to refund your phones. *UPDATED..EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

SCAM ALERT- THEY STEAL YOUR PHONE!!
I started this disaster with this company when I sent them my iPhone in great condition on April 25 when I went online to sell my phone.. I have several emails from me to the company asking me when I will receive my phone.. they acknowledged they have the phone, they acknowledged I agreed to price offered.. but here I sit on May 21st.. no phone no money…
Horrible service

Edited.. after a month of very little contact and me literally begging them to do the right thing. Until I wrote this exact review did I even get the curiosity of a return call.
Yes I did in fact receive my funds..but it took over 30 days to receive funds.. absolutely not what their website leads you to believe. During those 30 something days there was a lot of time and stress dedicated to emails, phone calls and reviews..
As for my phone condition? Well the pay out was less than 20 less than original quote.. (it was returned with original charger, headphones, brand new box and original paperwork) so how “huge” of the knick was it that caused such an “inspection”.
It also took several days after I received and accepted the new quote.
I’m not advising to not use this company I am just advising.. beware how their do business before you send your device that way you won’t be disappointed with the outcome.

As a customer sending in their device, we know this should be none of your concern, but, unfortunately, circumstances like this do happen. These staff members handled most of our day-to-day activities such as: admin, customer service, and issuing payments, etc. Thank God we are back to full force & we apologize that you had to send in your device during this timeframe and experience that. We are very sorry that you feel this way, but your phone did have to go through our re-inspection process, in which, caused the delay. You had sent your phone in as "Mint" and your phone came in with a pretty hefty dent on the frame. Our re-inspection process results in upper management to review the device and reformulate your offer which does take time when we are looking at hundreds of phones per day. We cannot emphasize more for customers to accurately send their phone as described to not have any delays with their payment. We would appreciate if you put the truth regarding that we did issue your payment. Thank you!

Unresponsive and only paid after police report .

They’ve got my 14 pro max and won’t return phone calls or answer emails. Unless I want to drive to a Texas border town and file a small claims court suit, I’m stuck. Avoid at all costs, big payouts are only a good deal if you actually get paid.

***UPDATE*** After filing a police report with Mission TX police and notifying SellCell I finally got contacted by icell and paid. I was paid the agreed upon amount and contacted from the number I had left numerous messages on. SellCell responded same day when I contacted them.

We did have a change payment method which caused the delay. We have had it happen in the past that a customer's chosen payment method is not active or registered; we issue payment, and then, they come back saying they never received it and need to change it. In these moments, we get stuck having to issue a two payments. We do have to follow our protocol and wait for the customer to confirm their changed payment method in these cases. We would appreciate if you put the truth regarding that we did issue your payment. Thank you!

I also met the same issues as others…

I did receive their payment now even though it is a bit delay for unknown reasons, but they do send the promised amount of money to me.

I also met the same issues as others reported. They said they receive the device and will send the money soon, but they never did it. Scam company.

Revised statement

I have called and replied to all their e-mails you wont get to a real person. They claimed to have mailed a check on the 5-13-23 but still no amicable response.
The only way is Small claims Court I know in Indiana it is over $2000.00 and will pursuit these SCAM ARTISTS I have all the documentation and address for their fraudulent address.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Avoid at all costs. Website claims to send out pay out in 72 hours after receiving the device. After numerous communication and despite the promises to send out the payment by the end of the day, they have not made a payment yet and it's been over a week. They just keep saying we will send out the payment by the end of the day but never did it. DO NOT send in your device to them. They are a scam!
