I had very bad experience with this company . I waited over 9 months for them to replace my windows handles. They are very nice until they get paid . Never use them again

Very happy with the work. Homeshield changed all the windows in my house and installed a new back door. The team was friendly, worked hard and everything was done very nicely. The windows and door look great and you can feel the quality.
Good communication and they left everything clean after the job. I’m very satisfied with the result. We will definitely use them again for my new porch and also my client projects.
Thank you very much to sellers zak he’s very honest man
I really hoped it wouldn’t come to this.. but here we go.
The windows were installed after over three months, despite a 6-10 week lead time.
Communication with Homeshield is like nothing I have ever experienced from a company taking such large sums from people. You are lucky to get a reply every few weeks, if you’re lucky. If you try to call you just get this infuriating AI chat it and no one ever ever ever calls back. I’m starting to wonder if there are actually any real people in the office. I think it’s just (weirdly they asked me to remove this name but read any of the other reviews and it’s the sales guy) running about getting the sales with literally no regard for what happens after.
There were several points in the process where I thought I had been scammed as I was not kept abreast of any progress with my order until the point of kicking off a bit.
Anyway.. fast forward and the windows arrive and are being installed.
The installers do not protect a thing.. no sheeting no anything, just straight in smashing bits out.
In the process they picked up a box clearly marked fragile and threw it across the room, smashing an antique lampshade - when I noticed and asked about it as they were leaving, they just responded ‘are you going to tell the office?’
I then go back into my house to find that there are filthy footprints everywhere, even in rooms where no windows were being fitted. I then find that there has been some rummaging for a usb plug and my guitar has been picked up and left on my sofa.. weird, fairly innocent, but still massively inappropriate.
So then for the next few times (3 visits in total) I felt I am not able to leave my house for more than an hour at a time when work is being done.. I literally can’t even be bothered to go into all the weird small and uncomfortable instances in my house, which alone are enough for me to write a review.
I’d had a custom bench made for my dining area, which was only installed because the window installation was cancelled last minute and I couldn’t cancel that appointment so assumed the guys would work carefully around a customers furniture.. NOPE. Concrete plaster dust no protection, standing all over it, foot prints, and then when I made a point of this not being ok having blobs of plaster and concrete all over the bench they just told me to calm down and they would get it off when it’s dry.. which they did do, but by this point there are stains as a result.
So now it’s all installed. Luckily this is the best part of the experience. However I write this review having just noticed a lovely freezing cold draft blowing at me, as it appears the installers did not properly insulate and foam around my window and now a draft is literally coming in from underneath. I wish
I could post pics.
All of these things would have been easily resolved but in the single email response I’ve had from Homeshield over the period of about a month, they inform me they are only able to process a complaint ONCE THE BALANCE IS PAID?!! How convenient!!
Essentially they’re asking you to just trust them that once they have all your money, you’ll get a form of compensation.. which is outrageous considering the abysmal comms, it’s kind of laughable that they would think I would ever hear from them again after that.
My balance isn’t even a lot of money but for the weird and and mind blowingly bad experience I’ve had, it’s actually unbelievable that they just will not get back to me, and now they are holding my FENSA certificate ransom.
I have had to contact FENSA directly to chase them.
Absolutely at my wits end. I can’t believe a company would treat someone like this and get away with it. I think they’re just a bit of a con.
I note that they reply to reviews almost instantly, but just you try getting any resolution after point of sale!
Overall I’m quite happy with the windows, with the exception a bit of scrappy finishing and my newly discovered draft, but the price was reflective of this.
All I want at this stage is my FENSA certificate. The balance payment covers the cost of my damaged property and all the finishing work I’ve had to do.
Proceed with extreme caution.

I’ve used this company twice now and have been really happy both times. First job was about two years ago for a composite front door and bifolds, and I’ve just had them back to fit new windows.
The whole process has been easy from start to finish, pricing is very good, and the quality of the products and fitting is excellent. The fitting teams were professional, tidy, and knew exactly what they were doing.
I came back as a repeat customer because of the quality and the customer service, and they didn’t disappoint. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I had new windows fitted in my flat by HomeShield England and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Zack, the salesperson, was knowledgeable, professional and, honest. He took the time to explain the options clearly and made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free.
The wider HomeShield team were just as impressive. Communication before the fitting was clear and proactive, and the aftercare following installation has been first-class. The fitting itself was smooth, professional, and tidy, and the quality of the windows is fantastic.
It’s refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about customer experience both before and after the job is done. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend HomeShield England to anyone considering new windows.

The sales pitch was great, just a shame everything after that has been a complete shambles. A delay to the original fitting date, panels measured incorrectly causing them to have to come out two additional times to fix things. The finish has been abysmal, looking like it had been done by amateurs. Jagged edges on the inside of windows, large gaps, the sliding door loose when locked, blue foam residue left on carpets and beds, broken glass left on the front garden. The back door was too small so the old one was put back in with huge gaps in it over Christmas, leaving the whole house freezing for a month. Instead of an apology for this the blame was appointed to someone else within the company. I appreciate the company shut over Christmas but we had no contact for two weeks telling us this, or when there job would be finished. I would love to update and give a better review if the job was completed to a satisfactory state. However from the communication received so far I don't believe that will happen.
Update, emails have been sent trying to show some of the issues, however the phone number for the company at the moment goes directly to an automated chat bot making communication difficult. I would like for someone to come out and inspect the work completed, if you genuinely believe it was done to a satisfactory standard. As everytime I look at it at the moment I am finding more faults. The replacement bespoke patio door I noticed today is definitely not done to even a good standard. The sliding door moves a great deal when locked. The static panel also moves, appears to have a piece of the edging wedged in at the top. So it is not flush to the panel allowing water to get in and cold air still coming in.
I appreciate you reaching out here, I understand that this time of year can make things more difficult, and also hope that we can get this resolved in a satisfactory manner.

Great service, from design onwards. Zak and his team know their product and how to deliver.
I had to take them to a small claim crt in order to get out of their tricky contract that forces you to cancel only by paper , while every contract was signed via tablet and e-mails. It was an absolute nightmare and it wasted many days of my time. Many things weren't adding up .
From the pricing to the style of "aggressive" sales techniques . I won the case ( well they accepted to return my deposit ) because they knew going to cort and loose would have meant an official record from the consumers association . Apart from their questionable "paper only " rule, they advertised not real badges and breached consumer contracts regulations. MAYBE their windows are of good quality, but why trust a business that treats you like that ?
We decided to go with HomeShield as it was well priced compared to the alternatives. Zach, the sales rep, made a clear and comprehensive sales presentation of the products available, somewhat let down by pressure to make a decision on the spot.
We had also ordered 2 opening Velux windows for our extension but two days prior to the installation date we were told that that the sub contractors the company used were no longer in business? (Still not quite sure exactly what happened there) Zach advised that the cost of these would be refunded but it was still disappointing news. Incidentally it took several emails and calls to the company to secure the refund (the installation was in August and we received the refund in late October)
Installation of the other windows went well until my wife noticed that the fascia boards were not being fitted. Upon querying this we were told by Zach that they would be an additional charge (something that was not explained in the original sale presentation) we assumed that they would be included in the price.
On the whole we are happy with the new windows, they are a vast improvement over the old units and should help keep the heating bills down. The overall experience with the company however was frustrating at times.

Non-Existent Customer Service
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Homeshield. In March/April, Homeshield installed my windows and an interior door. Since the installation, I have been unable to obtain the necessary window certification and have also encountered issues with the interior door that was installed.
I have attempted to contact the company numerous times regarding these outstanding issues. Every time my call has been answered, the only response I receive is a promise that "someone will get back to you ASAP." After calling repeatedly—sometimes twice a week last month—I have given up on resolving this through phone contact and have decided to write this review instead.

I'm honestly still surprised, every day, by the massive difference my new HomeShield windows have made in terms of noise from outside. In the lounge, the improvement is easily discernible, but the difference in the bedroom (which was fitted with acoustic glass) is very impressive. Previously, with my home being close to a Tube station, it often sounded as though the trains were driving through the flat. Now, I barely notice them pass unless actively listening. I'm keen to see what sort of difference everything makes to my energy bill over the winter, given that my old windows were so draughty.
My sales rep, Zack, gave an assured, compelling and thorough presentation of the product, instilling a sense of confidence which the fitters lived up to admirably, working quickly and methodically, delivering a smooth and professional installation.
What let the process down was the communication:
• There was an "internal oversight" over the acoustic glass spec for one set of windows.
• In spite of measurements being taken on two separate occasions (once by the salesman, once by the surveyor), "manufacturing errors" led to the front door and bathroom window being made to the wrong size, which left me with a temporary panels - assembled at short notice, on the day, by the fitters - for most of a month.
• I had to call repeatedly for updates on the corrected door and window, while the only callbacks I got were from the accounts team, chasing for payment before I even had any clear indication of when the job would be completed.
Though the process was far from optimal, the end results have brought a significant quality-of-life improvement to a flat on a busy street.

Windows were installed fairly quickly with little issues. Great quality windows. Also the installers were great dealing with existing issue on one of my windows that petrudes outwards. Had to get the door slightly adjusted but no issues. Great experience with Homeshield. Also was greatly explained the quality of the design of the windows by Zack. Made all the difference when deciding to purchase from Homeshield. Thanks Zack.
