I use them for a while it seems to be…

I use them for a while it seems to be all good but but some day they send me a message saying they sending me another sim card to get better service so yes the sim card got here how they said,but the downside was that they changed my number without asking me, I was able to get back my number but then I read on the news that they got in trouble with the law,so I decided to go with a different provider and they refuse to liberate my number, when I ask them why they were holding my numbers they block me,and im still till now trying to get my number back,they suck big time

Designed so you can’t ever leave!

I had this phone service for a couple of years and never needed service. As long as you don’t need service, it works fine. However, the parent company CEO was involved in illegal activity and Hello Mobile is forced to change the service thus causes the notice that they are “upgrading” their network. They say this to explain why they are forcing you to get a new SIM.

With the new E-SIM you were given only partial instructions to install it. I decided to port my number and set up an account with Tello. I couldn’t find any instructions to port my number out of Hello Mobile (HM) so I tried calling, chatting, and emailing. The only way they will port your number is to talk to them. All three ways of communicating are nearly impossible, but they do answer phones eventually if you wait hours. The chat function for me would roll over after about 15 minutes and drop me. Forget emails. I finally got through by calling at the moment they open phone lines.

Once my numbers were ported I checked my account and there were no phone lines. I made the mistake of not turning off autopay, because HM gave someone E-SIMS on my account and the SIMS were activated and I was billed. Back to the phone lines and I did get through to them again. They claimed my account was hacked which I doubt, but they said they would credit my card and remove my account. Here I am a week later with no credit and still an existing account. I turned off auto pay so we will see what happens. The two years of decent service are not worth it when the system is designed to trap you. Contact the FCC to complain and let’s get this company punished.

They're Horrible

They're Horrible. Sim card takes 2 weeks to receive or sometimes you don't receive. Your old phone number won't completely port over and Customer service has no clue on how to fix it. Unlimited data is horrible after 1Gb it slows down to maybe 50kb it's barely usable. Switch to mint or visible. This is not hello it's"Horrible" mobile.

takes forever to get a sim card. week later it didnt even ship, it states processing. crazy!!! why cant they ship asap like tello. Tello ships next day via amazon. for that reason not worth the headache of waiting weeks for a sim card

Down to toilet

This phone compney is down to toilet. They recently stoped my service and from account i was unable to see my line. Called customer service no one answer even waiting for 2hrs for weeks. They were sending me txt msgs say find ulternate service bcz their compney was found guilty in billions of dollars fraud. So they selling new sim cards and i lost my number which i had from years and i paid 200 dollara for that number 10 years ago to tmobile. Now i lost that number bcz of their failure and they still not answering their customer service no. Their net speed work only 2 days then you get like 50kb speed. I have their top unlimited plan but its garbage and international calling does not work either

woes serivce

Worst Service I use the company about one an half year so by the 2024 11.19 I trans my phone serivce to other so hello no internation call any more call many times no answer waiting 45 to 50 minutes to get someone to holp notthing to help no use the serivce 😡😡😡😡

Impossible service

I never experiences such disorganized and poor customer service. If you are one of the lucky ones to get a hold of an agent after hours of waiting the chance of your issue being fixed is slim to none. It is clear the company is going through hard times and was likely sold to someone who is trying to save as many customers as possible before people move to another provider. A few months ago I stumbled accross hello mobile to add a second line to a small business. I was’t shopping for a cheap provider but their name came up when searching the internet for a pre-paid service. Good God was this a horrible experience. We tried calling multiple times to try and save our number as the FCC messages to change our provider kept warning us the business will stop working and we will lose our phone number. Apparently the owner of the company testified and admitted guilt for trying to defraud the government or some ridiculous thing like that. Stay away or use this service as a burner. Don’t expect anything in return after you buy the service. Their service is cheaper than dirt and when it worked it worked well. But when it doesn’t you will be stranded with no one to help.

I wish I could give their customer service 0 stars

I wish I could give their customer service 0 stars. You cannot cancel their service via their online portal. They do not answer their customer service phone line. I have been on hold for more than an hour before being cut off. I attempted to end service with their chatbot and was told by the bot that it was canceling my service, then disconnected. I was unable get back in touch with their bot that day. I sent an email to cancel the service that day. I received no confirmation and a bill for service was generated. I contacted the bot again and called again. The bot said that I was already canceled and refused to send email confirmation or to send email confirmation before disconnecting me. I finally got through on the phone and they said my service had been cancelled by the bot earlier that day (not on the date of my previous chat or email). They refused to cancel out the charge and when they finally agreed to send a confirmation email the email stated that I still needed to call their customer service line. They refused to send an email that stated definitively that my account was canceled and refused to reverse the charge that they generated after their bot said that I was canceled (before the new service period) and after I had sent an email that followed their instructions for cancellation prior to the new service period. This is the worst customer service I've ever received. Avoid this company at all costs, the low price is not worth the headaches and hours on the phone waiting for customer service.

I have been a customer for years with…

I have been a customer for years with Hello Mobile. They cut off one of my phone lines due to some upgrade that I wasn't even made aware of at all. I tried to contact customer support and no one would answer me or even write me back. I am so upset I paid my bill and my service was cut for over 2 weeks after I paid the bill. I will never use them for my phone provider again.

terrible customer service

terrible customer service, cut one of my line. i was told that i can hold on the new sim card until my kid get home later, but they just cut the line, i have tried quite a few time on the phone, total more than 10 hours, never got to talk to a real person. finally got someone through online chat, but the problem did not get solved.

Hello mobile made me to upgrade my phone network. After I upgraded, my phone can not send any messages anymore, I tried to communicate with the hello mobile customer service, the agent dun know how to fix it and he just cut me off, such an awful new work company, please dun use this company network anymore, Soooooo disappointed👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Since they switched cariers to QLINK I…

Since they switched cariers to QLINK I get messages the next day , phone service reception is hit or miss and customer service is a utter JOKE ! Since there change my number is mixed up with someone else number my friends ask who is this when I call or text, called customer service after 1.5 hr wait time. Told the woman the problem and her solution was call a friend or text someone so I can see it myself , in other words called me a liar just not directly ,she actually exspected me to text someone and wait for there reply when all my friends and family are at work! And ask me to call from another phone gesh I live alone this is my only phone so needless to say I ended the conversation and told her this is the last month I am going to be using HELLO MOBILE complete joke not to mention the FCC sued them a few months ago and QLINK as well !
