Hello Mobile vanished. You should port out your number asap

* Supposedly their support number is 888-92hello but I've called the whole day today 12/23/2024 just to receive an automated message that my area isn't covered blah blah blah

This company is horrible

This company is horrible! Wait times are very long and the reps are not very helpful. We pay for international calls and we haven't been able to make international calls for over a month. After speaking with the rep, it was supposed to be resolved within 24 hours, it's been 2 weeks and still nothing. Now i was told to contact the new company that they merged with and i have called them about 30 times and not ones have they answered. Don't waist your time or money.

Total incompetence all around...

The internet data seemed to vanish in record amount of time with Hello Mobile, even though when I was on T-Mobile, it never showed me going over 1 GB of data in any of my bills. Then they upgraded their systems shortly after we got their service and we all had new eSims or hard sims sent to us, and my wife accidentally deleted the eSim off their webpage. They were not able to restore it. They were not able to fix it on the phone call. They were not able to mail her a chip sim instead. She called many times over a month and they told her she had to wait and someone would put a new eSim on her account. The finally straw was, she could not even pay her bill online, the payment service would not work. She called up for help, and they just said they were aware of the problem. Then they close her account for non-payment, and said she would have to create a new account. Total incompetence all around, we tried to bend over backwards to work with Hello Mobile, and they showed us a total lack of care, customer service, and professionalism.

Fair plans but bad customer reps and not attending to important situations.

Everything was fine until September, i wanted a new line which i did make order for to get an eSim, usually you would get your eSim in your profile once you setup one account but NO it didn’t come in, called severally and was told i will get it once the system assigns it from the upper team(whack team i believe because they definitely do not know what to do), fast forward to November when the eSim QR came in and boom after few weeks they turned off WiFi calling for every customer, unable to use my line due to the WiFi calling turned off, contacted support again and was told it will be resolved with some ticket ID, it’s been weeks now and issues not resolved, customer care number not also going, to summarize it in all they have cheap plans but clowns as customer support reps, whoever is in charge of their website needs to go and learn to do better, and they won’t even fix the simplest of issues in small time, they need to sack everyone involved in this carrier and get people that knows how to do things efficiently, trying to even get my port out information but i can’t because their call line is not going through, they will never respond to emails.

Payment problem

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to highlight a critical issue that I, along with many other users, have encountered with Hello Mobile's payment system.

Despite my best efforts, the subscription fee is not being deducted automatically from my account, nor can I make a manual payment through the usual channels. Consequently, I received a disconnection email, which is quite concerning.

When I contacted your customer support, I was informed that this is a technical issue and not to worry. However, my account was subsequently disabled, preventing me from making any payments to rectify the situation. This additional restriction, combined with the inability to pay without an active account, has caused significant inconvenience.

I kindly request that Hello Mobile urgently addresses this payment failure issue. It is essential to provide a seamless and reliable service to your customers and ensure that their accounts are not wrongfully disabled due to technical glitches. Immediate resolution and clear communication regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.

As others- pay failed - acct closed- lost number

Same as others- auto pay failed, cant update, account cancelled, loosing number, this week their phone number appears to be out of service. Now I am ready to move but do not know how to port number to another company. Any suggestions from anyone would be fantastic- would think there is someone could force them to take care of at least keeping our numbers!!
01/08-25 still no resolution, Hello Mobile phone doesn’t work. Their handling of our accounts and phone numbers is just not right and it’s their fault not ours.
Sure wish someone has a phone number to actually reach someone to get something done- not fair.

Incompetent MORONS!!

Incompetent MORONS!!! I've tried twice now to order a SIM card and they charge me for the SIM card and first month's service to send it out, but they never send it! Then I tried calling customer service, email AND chat to ask them where my order is at. They always say "sorry for the inconvenience, we'll get that sent to you," then still don't send it for another two weeks or more. They also automatically put you on auto pay. I logged in and shut that right off and now they keep emailing me saying my service will expire that I never got! DO NOT RECOMMEND ZERO STARS!

worst network I have ever used

worst network I have ever used. Instead of solving queries they educate you about policies. fake recharge plans they says like you can do international calls but you cant and if you chat with customer service they educate you about their polices instead of solving and quit the chat in middle. keeps you on hold for long time i recommend you to take other networks or do port from this

Horrible! Refuses to accept payment and disconnect service

My auto pay failed and their system will not accept my payment. After calling them several times chatting with them several times, nobody can help me and my service was canceled. I’ve had several tickets created with no resolution over the past several weeks. I needed this phone to communicate with my daughter. I begged them not to disconnect my service and they did anyways. Horrible, horrible horrible company run far far away!!!

Hello Mobile worked great for a little over a year. I had the $5 per month plan and autopay set up. Then my credit card was nearing expiration and the credit card company sent me a new one with a new expiration date and security code. The card number itself stayed the same. But when I logged into Hello Mobile and tried to update the credit card, an error message displayed saying "Sorry! We Can Not Complete Your Request".

Over the next 10 days I spoke with Hello Mobile customer service at least three times and tried to update my credit card each day. But I kept getting the same error message. Today my phone service was suspended. I called customer service and they said since I could not update my credit card and they're not taking new customers (at least not on the cheap $5 per month plan) I need to port my number to a different cell phone provider if I want to keep it.

Fortunately this was just a backup phone I used occasionally. If it was my main phone, it would be a major problem. Do they have too many people on their inexpensive plans and this is one way of removing them?

GET OUT OF HELLO MOBILE

GET OUT OF HELLO MOBILE! The company is going belly up. The c/s reps are liars. It went from "oh, we are having trouble with our payment software, please be patient." To, "let's create a service ticket for you." To, "don't worry, no subscriber will lose service." To, "your account has been closed for non payment, I can't help you, try and buy another plan and see if that works, but no guarantee it will work." And there you go! Stay away. If you still have service, port out ASAP.

poor customer service

The first time I called the toll free number, it went to a message saying the vodafone was switched off. I called back later and got a menu system that didn't allow me to pay my bill and routed me in circles. I called a third time, and got a customer service representative who has opened a ticket, and I'm now waiting for a response in email. If the situation gets resolved, I'll update my review.
