Do not buy from this website

Do not buy from this website. I ordered a 65 inch Tcl tv from them and they took my money. 2 days later, they call and say its not in stock and they made a mistake on the website.(They offered nothing in return and just wasted my time). Ive left a review multiple times on their website and they keep deleting the reviews.

Advertising items they don't have.

Order a camera lense that was shown as 'on display in store and availableto collect soon'. Paid in full online and received Order confirmation.

Received email hours later saying there was a mistake and no stock available...money will be refunded in 5 to 6 days!

Merry Hill has brilliant staff

Bradley & Paige at the Merry Hill branch have both been excellent at delivering good service. They were transparent in informing us of the products we were curious about, they were patient and honest. We are happy with every purchase we’ve maid at HN they played a massive part in this. We’ll be back.

Don't buy from them.......

Placed an order on line for Starlink mini, stated 'in stock'. Charged my credit card and then 2 days later refund will be made in 5 days? No explanation, email etc. Do not recommend this company......

I don't think so it's a safe place for shopping. First time yesterday I shopped. I ordered a Dyson v10, today i got cancellation email. So instead I prefer companies getting responsibility for their products.

Nice in-store experience

Steve was knowledgeable and informative. I purchased a washing machine and he gave me helpful, friendly and, crucially, non-pushy, advice for my final choice. A very nice in-store experience.

First and last order

as with many other people they are allowing orders on stock they don't have. Then tried up selling me to another item which is almost double the price. When checked the first item is still listed on their site. Requested refund to which they say they are taking care off now. But, could take them 5 days to process. Hopefully it will be initiated with haste but going by other reviews I doubt it. As this has happened with many others I wonder if doing the "abate and switch" con is just part of their business plan

Excellent service

Bought a TV from Sutton Coldfield branch. Sales lady was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. £130 cheaper than everywhere else. Delivered free to the timescale promised. Couldn’t ask for more really.

Great customer experience at Sutton Coldfield store

Walked around the Sutton Coldfield store looking at televisions. Maya asked us if we would like her to explain the differences and features of the TV’s. She recommended a Sony oled TV - which we liked. She advised us that it was probably a better buy for us than the more expensive model. Refreshing to have a store staff member take the time to show us the products and not automatically try to sell us the most expensive model. Maya then demonstrated a sound bar that she thought would be a good upgrade to the package - and it was, so we bought that as well. Maya checked the prices of other retailers and she discounted the sound bar to match the price of the cheapest retailer. Price included a 5 year warranty and free delivery. A pleasant, no rush, no pressure retail experience in a lovely bright new store. 10/10 Maya

Awful service

Ordered a dining table on the 2nd May - confirmed a 13 day delay…

After 8 weeks of chasing for updates I finally get a delivery date of 27th June to then have to call the store again for a delivery update as no communication from the delivery company on the specific day!

After several phone calls I then get updated that the table has a leg missing so we will need to wait a couple of weeks for delivery yet again. About 10 minutes after this call I then receive another call and get advised that the table has been discontinued and is no longer available so offered full refund! ..not one apology the whole time..

The general service and communication has been awful and I will not be returning to purchase any other items from your store

Exceptional Staff

Outstanding service at this store. Excellent layout, variety, knowledge and helpful staff. Nothing was too much for the staff. They helped me so much. Usman on electrical you were exceptional. He really knew his stuff, he gave Excellent advice a few things I knew and he said exactly the same and more about the product I was thinking. I was very impressed and I'm truly happy with my purchase. I got help off another member of staff too a lady and she wqs brilliant too, she knew there was something I had my eye on and I was unsure and she gave me the confidence in why its a good product and good price and she was right. Again im so pleased with my purchase. I just loved the enthusiasm of the staff here. They were genuinely Happy to help. They didnt force, they gave the right amount of information then said you have time to think about it and come back if you have any more questions. I loved that. Harvey Norman your lucky to have wonderful staff and once again Usman on Electrical: if ever you can read this, I’m so pleased with my TV! It was the better choice for what I wanted. Thank you!
PS- Delievery was Outstanding too from the communication, timing anf drivers/delivery guys. Your great too.
