Had purchased a rug that was faulty but it was sorted quickly by Martin in the carpet department.

Staff have been fantastic throughout the purchasing to delivery period. We ordered 4 items for our newly built garden house and we were kept fully updated with deliveries etc.All arrived as expected and we are delighted with all staff at Gillies.

Great service overall

Our experience when buying our new bedroom furniture from Gillies was very good. Staff were very helpful with good communication until our items arrived. Delivery was at a time which suited us and the men were respectful of our property when assembling our furniture.
We are also very pleased with our purchase and would recommend Gillies.

Nice friendly, carpet laid quickly and to a high standard. Room left tidy. Over all a great job done.

Firstly the person who sold us the Hypnos Mattress knew all about them and had visited the factory.
Delivery was problem free

Good service in the shop and on delivery. I do think that you should offer all cusyomers delivery only or delivery/assembly as a choice, as I'm glad I queried as it would not have been worth paying the extra £50 to assemble it with 5 bolts. However, absolutely 100% happy with my purchase, would shop again

The 3 men who came were excellent
and cosidered us at all times ! They did a super job and when finished offered to put all of our furniture back!Altogether a wonderful experience !

An excellent team !

Ordered a set of 4 Denby Blue Haze pasta bowls and two Denby Blue Haze large mugs. Gillies website then stated (at the checkout) that only one mug was available, so I purchased this along with rhe pasta bowls.
Delivery was very slow, with poor communication by Gillies appertaining to tracking the parcel. This was despite the fact that delivery charges were expensive - £7.99.
The parcel did arrive safely eventually, and items arrived in one piece.
A day or so after placing the above order - I checked the Gillies website again - and it showed that there was one Denby Blue Haze large mug available to purchase. So - I purchased this one mug - and had to pay another £7.99 for delivery - which I was annoyed about - as I had tried to purchase this mug with my initial order.
After paying for the second order ( the single mug ) - I was later emailed by Gillies to say that they did not have the item available , and that they would issue a refund.
Obviously Gillies as an online company do not have a very good stock availability system - which in this day and age is unacceptable.
Disappointing service overall.
