I bought a Fire TV with Freely on just…

I bought a Fire TV with Freely on just recently and I am somewhat disappointed with the experience from my old Freeview one! For some unknown reason the ETV guide doesn’t seem to what to load only five channels display the rest don’t! I’ve checked my internet connection and it’s fine for other apps installed!!

On my second different brand Freely TV…

On my second different brand Freely TV (was Bush and now JVC) and having exactly the same problem…
Error code ETV6055 on all live channels except BBC and streaming channels, so internet working ok.
Follow the Freely suggested steps which always ends up with a factory reset as it is the only thing which sorts the problem for a few weeks…. Have nearly memorised my router password as done reset so many times!
Really disappointed and could not recommend to anyone as believe it is a Freely issue as why would two different TVs have exactly the same issue?

Rubbish

Bought the Manhattan box. Problems started after three days with freezing then the screen going black. Then not working with constant powering down to get it to work. My personal opinion based on my usage. There’s something wrong and the above is not fit for purpose which doesn’t surprise me because similar things were done before ie britbox and they have all been poor. Box returned to Amazon.

no idea about Sky sports

Does not have Sky Sports (and presumably TNT sports as well). They had no idea about Sky Sports. Many potential users would want to know about this option presumably as a subscription. Did not seem aware that Virgin and BT have Sky Sports/TNT Sports options.

I looked for help from Freely and was…

I looked for help from Freely and was pleased to see that it was written in a way that I could understand. I am no tech freak and getting on in years and admit that some of terms used in technology baffle me but I was pleased to find that Freely talk in a way that I and most other people can understand. Shockingly bad 🤨 Purchased a TCL tv…

Shockingly bad 🤨 Purchased a TCL tv with built in Freely. Nothing but problems from day 1. Attempt to watch on demand and there's an error code. Try to watch catch up and there's an error code. Half way through a programme and it freezes, then an error code. Every time it's apparently due to slow Internet despite having full fibre and Internet speed is bob on along with no issues on other devices. For some unknown reason it's worse on ITV and channel 5. Constantly having to unplug tv and start all over again. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Having purchasing x2 Hisense tv’s with…

Having purchasing x2 Hisense tv’s with built in freely both have issues with loading the platform. In my opinion it’s more trouble than it’s worth. It’s cheaper to have an aerial fitted than to rely on internet based platforms. Very dissatisfied with the hype and no need for an aerial rubbish. I also add that my internet speed is more than sufficient to handle the streams. Freely definitely needs improvements please save your money and look to other alternatives.

Agents are unhelpful

Agents are unhelpful when things go wrong. Automatically blame the customers set up even when it’s caused by them or an app provider such as itv x
