The location is not always accurate

The location is not always accurate, even after checking the settings in my kid's phone, they are in a place and the app shows they are still at home, sometimes just mark a straight line from two places and did not show what route they follow and this is very dessapointed. And it was not only once, it was afew times.

avoid this app at all costs unless you…

avoid this app at all costs unless you want to be charged unnecessarily!!! check reviews before you purchase.

So called customer service is useless, i was charged £38 for an app no longer in use, tried to cancel again via the app, only gave option to suspend account for 1 week!!!
in the end i had to contact my back to tell them to stop future payments, apparently they don't do refunds which is stupid if they've charged YOU by mistake, avoid avoid avoid, realised i could use free app with google instead. Never again will i use this app and i suggest the same.

Pretty useless

DO NOT BUY!

- map functions work fine
- nothing else works
- only possible to block all apps or no apps. When you block "all apps" internet is still working...
-no customer service, just a bot with a couple of answers to choose between.
-you have to buy the plus version to get all functions, as I did. Then it still does not work, at all...

I was charged £60.99 for a yearly…

I was charged £60.99 for a yearly subscription to Find My Kids which I believe happened by accident while using my phone. I contacted Google Play immediately, but my refund request was refused.

I then tried to reach Find My Kids support directly, their email doesn’t work, and the AI chat won’t let me type a proper query. There’s simply no way to speak with a real person or get any help.
It’s shocking that a company handling children’s tracking data has such poor customer service. There should be an easy way to contact them and get a refund for accidental purchases. Very disappointing experience and I strongly advise others to be careful before subscribing.

A complete scam

A complete scam. Never, ever use this company. They have taken £57.99 out of my bank & now refusing to refund it. It stated you get a week’s free trial, then you can choose to pay monthly or yearly. This did not happen. They took £57.99 straight away. No way of contacting them other than chat bots. Avoid.

Pointless. Unreliable. Broken.


This app used to work (never perfectly, but well enough) but these past few months has got worse and worse to the point that it is now useless.

Just one of many recent examples of app ‘hallucination’:

I was standing in my back garden right next to the stationary phone it is supposed to be tracking and my phone alerted me that the tracked phone was travelling to the other side of our town. I was watching a whole imaginary route appear on my app while actually looking at the tracked phone right in front of me!

The reason I have the app is to be able to reliably know where the tracked phone is for serious safety reasons, but I can no longer trust it.

Frustratingly it is impossible to contact the company. The email address they tell you to use for help on their website gives an auto response stating they don’t help via email. This email contains a button to supposedly take you to a chat bot in app. It doesn’t.
Next I tried the chat function on the website but this doesn’t work either, with content overlapping the place you are supposed to reply.

On the strength of these experiences, I have now decided this whole thing has likely become a scam to make money without providing a service.

I asked months ago for the subscription…

I asked months ago for the subscription to stop at the of the 1st year as my granddaughter niw 18 and has moved out. I dont need it so requested cancellation. To my surprise yesterday the took £27.99 which I cant afford. Any tell me hiw I can get a refund.

The free version of the App says it has tracking but the tracking is terrible and does not work properly.

Total scam

Total scam - paid £71.99 for Care Ultra package to block some of my child's addictive apps. Didn't work. When I reported it to their support team, I was told "app blocking doesn't mean blocking apps" - despite that being exactly how they marketed it and sold it to me as. Totally unhelpful and money down the drain. Avoid at all costs

Hello! The app doesn’t currently allow blocking individual apps. But with the Care Plus plan, you can block all apps using the Block the Apps button.

You can also add apps to the following lists:

🔓 Lock—the app is blocked when you tap the Block the Apps button.

🚫 Stop—the app is always blocked, even if you don’t tap Block the Apps.

♾️ Infinity—the app is always available, even if blocking is enabled.

Nearly 2 years of contacting them to stop payment. I do not have an active subscription with them anymore. Not used the app in years. Emailed, used their chat bot, but they continue to take payment every month. Nightmare company

The app is a scam, total waste of money. I paid £48.99 and the app stopped working after 2 weeks, tried all my best contacting but it is another waste of time. Do not purchase findmykids pingo, it's a scam!!!

I've paid for the full features of the…

I've paid for the full features of the app and I must say I am disappointed. When adding places like home and school the area circumference is far too large. An example is that I get notification that my daughter has arrived home, but she is actually 4 roads away, one being a busy main road, so the information is incorrectly and quite disturbing considering this app is supposed to give me peace of mind for my daughters safety. It's the same with all the places I add. She arrives at grandma's, no she hasn't she is down by the main road and no where near, all because your place circumference is too large and does not go smaller, and yes I have made it the smallest there is.

Another issue is when my daughter turns her phone off before school and switches it back on when she collects it from school reception. Yesterday I had to phone her and stay on the phone whilst she waited for her bus and then walked a short distance, all because your app wasn't updated her location and said she was still at home from that morning when we turned her phone off. There was signal as I was on call to her and when i wasn't, we were messaging.

If these issues aren't fixed in the next week I will be cancelling my subscription and requesting a refund. I emailed using the email you provided on your website which told me that you don't accept email and to use the chat bot, which will put me through to someone if it can't help me. It doesn't put you through to anyone.

They don’t tell you that this app does…

They don’t tell you that this app does not offer the listen in on IOS because of Apple privacy policy. My grandson with autism is being bullied on the bus and the listen in feature was all I needed as I get all of the other features free from Apple on his IPhone like Findmy and site blocking. I contacted the company and explained my situation and they refuse to give me a refund so that in itself tells what kind of company this is. “Their response is ridiculous because until you pay for the app you don’t know that its listening feature is not compatible with Apple IOS, and once you pay then there are no refunds. I stand by my review”.

Got the app 3 months ago and now the app is not working and there is no way of contacting them. It says their office is in Northern Cyprus but they have no other ways to communicate. I paid annually by mistake and the app says if I cancel all my money will go and nothing to refund !!!! Very unreliable ...

What a scam i wenstay away like the plague t the ,try it for 72…

What a scam i went the ,try it for 72 hours route and after the first hour we knew.it wasn't for us, the app is terrible the whole system is terrible. Plus they charged me 4 times my bank luckily listed it as a scam and alerted me.and stopped payment Is there.a phone number for this company. I.have emailed them 20 times with no joy

find a better alternative

Rip off. I paid my subscription and didn't get access to the listening function or to info about my kids' app useage! What did I get then? A location service and constant nags to upgrade to Care+ so that I can pause my kids' apps.
Also as mentioned by others , there is no customer 'service', no emails, just a 'chat bot' which doesn't chat. I feel like I'm wandering around the internet wasteland looking for the person who sold me this piece of crap.

Unreliable


I chose the paid version of Pingo (Find My Kids).
I keep getting error messages saying that my child's location is not visible because location sharing is turned off. But when I check the phone, that’s not the case.
I’ve contacted customer support many times, and each time they ask me to try something new. I’ve followed all their instructions, but the error keeps coming back.
The app is unreliable and basically useless. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to pay for it.
The free version worked better than the paid one.

Pure scam

Pure scam. Not one single feature is working properly. Does not show the exact place where the child is. Can show the place one hour later or longer. I tried to listen the sounds around my child but it keeps saying they can’t connect to child’s phone. All other features which you get when you pay extra money are not working either. Now I’m thinking about the numbers it does show - can you really trust them, how close are they to the truth? Avoid this app.
