Back in March, my military pension details were forwarded to EQ Paymaster for processing and despite many promises I have heard nothing. Something has happened to my pension although i have had no information about what, and other associated payments have completely failed to materialise at all. I can't speak to the people managing this as they are not 'customer focused' and those that answer the enquiries phone can do nothing but say they'll pass on my frustrations and will definitely get back to me. 5 calls later and nothing. What a truly dreadful service.
Follow up 8 June. The response to my initial comments came from someone in Equiniti who was 'truly sorry'. Well clearly not that sorry as I have heard nothing about how they changed my pension, nothing about future payments and nothing about when my pension might be sorted. As I said before - absolutely dreadful. Any contact, anything would be nice. Just anything.
Follow up 16 June. And still nothing at all. It does make you wonder what you have to do to get EQ to do anything (and I mean anything). I did however find out I can't complain about them! I have to go through the people they have contracted with - in this case the military. I've initiated this complaints process but will ensure I let everyone know how dreadfully awful this company is on as many platforms as I can.

Twice now, I’ve been locked out of my share account due to technical issues with the Equiniti platform.
Getting issues resolved due to what according to Equiniti was a mismatch on account details at their end took weeks to get resolved by their IT team and prevented me selling my shares at the right price.
And now a similar issue a few months later!
It seems their IT platform is unreliable and they are never in a rush to resolve issues for their customers leaving the ability to trade shares difficult.

I am not impressed with the services that I have received, I have been investing in ZNOG for almost 2 yrs, and have accumulated a nice amount of shares. Just recently I put in a sell order to sell 5400 shares at $.58 a share. I received the confirmation via email..almost immediately...I watched my share holder account for 3 days..nothing happened..On the 3rd day the shared were withdrawn at $.47 a share, as the price per share had dipped..I hate the way that they do business..Had this order been initiated on Robin Hood I would have received the $.58 ..at the time the sell order was made..I have referred a lot of people to this company, now I am concerned..Their practices seem very shady to me..Now I want to transfer all of my shares out to an exchange, just wondering how screwed I’m gonna be with this one.,And I’ve been on hold for 40 mins..Now the rep finally answers, with a dry..unprofessional tone..This exchange is a unprofessional trap..Never again..
Update: 06/11/2026
To avoid this ever happening again, I put in a full account transfer request thru Charles Schwab, on 06/03/2026…The request cleared on Schwab’s end 3 days later..But shares are still being held up on Equiniti’s end..They keep telling me that the transfer usually takes 1 day..but 8 days later, I’m still waiting.,Just when I thought that things could not move any slower..I hate this company with a passion..

As an executor the process of selling g the deceased’s shares can be very daunting. When speaking with Jaya Prakash Anthony over the phone he explained everything very clearly and had all of the answers. An exceptional service which makes the complicated easy. Thank you excellent service

Wanted to change postal address. Was advised by Chat to go to My Details and then Personal Details. There was no Personal Details selection only being able to change username password etc.

I did not have to wait long.
It was difficult for me to understand the person.
They tried their best.

After emails were ignored, I phoned to have a mistake corrected. Agent said it was done. 5 months on & proof it wasn't! Numerous emails, which clearly aren't understood, result in stupid replies from push-button agents! Telling me to do things their system won't allow!
Their mistake is costing me money, and they do nothing to correct it!!!

3 stars - Unfortunately the line wasn't very good and it was difficult hearing what was being said.
I was about to give up but it did improve - although still not as clear as I would have liked - and so the representative could give me the information I needed.
The representative did her best.

30% 1 Star reviews should give you a clue!
I have Power of Attorney for my wife who is in end-stage Alzheimer's. Having decided to cash her shares to pay for care fees I have to say the experience has been dreadful. I started the process in February and I am still not through it yet. The value of the shares is about £30k and I have been charged well over £1k in fees for pieces of paper, missing this/that, never ending.....I am sure they'd charge you for breathing if they could. Just one example; on the phone (which took an eternity to connect, they all do) I was quoted £75 for something, when the letter arrived it was £100. I called and no plausible explanation was given. It is so frustrating, hanging on the phone for hours, being moved from one department to the other, going through the security checks over and over, I honestly would give them Zero Stars if possible. Terrible company.

Excellent service: he was first of tour agents to actually help. All others were hopeless.

I have been trying repeatedly trying to transfer a stock. What should of been simple has been an ordeal. Their staff does not appear to have the knowledge they need to break down a premium. When asked repeatedly to speak with someone who can give me a breakdown of fees I was either given non-answers or there was an attempt to redirect. This happened on two separate occasions, my tone the entire time was polite, firm and professional. Two separate times, same results. Take your money elsewhere.
