It is always a little nerve wracking ordering from so far away (Australia to UK) but everything went smoothly. My friend said the rose was beautiful. It was delivered when scheduled. I was kept up to date by both English Roses and DPD. In all I was totally relieved and happy. Thanks.

Retirement Rose
I bought a rose for a retirement present. Unfortunately the rose didn’t arrive at the time it should have and my colleague had to go home empty handed. It was quite embarrassing!
When the rose finally arrived the pot that the rose came in was cracked and the card and paper work were soaking and unreadable!

Beautiful Roses/reliable company
I have used this company a few times recently and the recipients have all been delighted with their Rose bush.
I was impressed with my latest order which was placed on Thursday 18.12.25 for a friend who lost a loved one and the Rose was delivered on the Friday 19.12.25. She was also delighted with the rose and basket.

We understand how frustrating it is when things go wrong with delivery and we are sorry you have had a problem with your delivery. You will see from our previous reviews that we have only ever received 3 one star reviews before and these were all relating to delivery.
Sadly things can on occasion go wrong with delivery, luckily it is very rare and usually doesn't impact on the quality of the product or the customer service that we provide. That said we do get how annoying this can be.
The reality is that there are multiple reasons why delivery can go wrong and the only way to fully understand them is if you ring in and we can in conjunction with DPD get some clarity.
In this case I think it is very likely that a previous safes pace instruction has been recorded at your address by yourself or someone else in your household and this has over ridden the request you provided with your order. We have found of late that this is the underlying problem with about 90% of issues where there is a successful delivery but the safe space instruction have not been followed. Please call us on 01243 379538 if you would like to know more about this.
Finally please can I just add a quick point about 1 star reviews. We understand that when things don't go right it can be really frustrating but we do urge customers to make sure that the one star review is broadly reflective of your total experience of you purchase from us. It should cover your online experience, the product quality, packaging quality, customer service, and delivery.
One star reviews are the worst case scenario for a small independent business and are harmful to our reputation. We therefore try where we can to ensure that we help resolve any issues. If there is anything we can do to resolve the poor experience that you have had please let us know.

Beautiful gift for a good friend.
It was really lovely to receive my order exactly as planned and the rose was packaged extremely well. The recipient of my gift was really pleased with it and it had survived really well with the several car journeys that it had to endure. We are looking forward to seeing it bloom next year.
