Thanks Tom!

Had a very good experience buying a car with Tom Mills yesterday. He was very patient and thorough with the handover pack. Great car for the price, and really pleased that the 3 month warranty it came with, if repairs are needed, can be carried out in any VAT registered garage. This offered peace of mind as we live a couple of hours away from Scunthorpe. Also came with 12 months free RAC cover.

Total liars and no after sales care

They told me the car came with 3 months rac warranty which was part of a £200 fee they charge. I questioned what the charge was for, they said 3 months warranty, breakdown cover, prepping the car and HPI checks

I had problems with the car, mainly rattling noises and a potential suspension fault. I contacted Eddie wright service team, they said contact rac. I contacted the RAC and they said no warranty had been registered. I contacted the dealer again and spoke to the people who sold me the car and they said the RAC warranty is only provided if the Tesla warranty had expired and there is 6 months left on the Tesla warranty

They gave me a leaflet literally explaining the RAC warranty process and when I called the Eddie wright they said contact Tesla because the RAC warranty isn't provided. I even asked when purchasing the car if the platinum plus could be provided and they said it will come with platinum as that's their standard offering

Any decent dealer would support in resolving the issues but not these chaps. Avoid at all costs. My slight error was telling them they lied about the RAC warranty so they hung up the phone. I guess a liar doesn't want to be told he's a liar....

I really feel they are a stereotype of a used car dealer and give the industry a bad name

Misleading information and no response

I purchased a vehicle from Eddie Wright Car Supermarket in March 2026, along with an extended warranty and an EMaC maintenance plan.
At the point of sale, I was told the vehicle had been recently serviced. However, an independent inspection by Audi West London confirmed that the car had actually gone 13 months without a service.
The same inspection also identified further issues, including significantly worn brakes, tyres close to the legal minimum tread depth, and a fault affecting core vehicle systems.
None of these issues were disclosed prior to purchase. Had I known the true condition of the vehicle, I would not have proceeded.
In addition, when collecting the vehicle, I was initially sent away without the correct charging cables. When I raised this, I was offered Nissan charging cables instead, which were not appropriate for the vehicle.
The add-on products sold alongside the car have also proven ineffective. A claim submitted within one month was delayed and ultimately rejected, raising concerns about how these products are represented.
Most concerning of all has been the complete lack of communication. Despite multiple emails and attempts to resolve the issue, I have received no meaningful response whatsoever.
The matter is now with The Motor Ombudsman.
I would strongly advise others to carry out independent checks and carefully review any additional products before purchasing.

First class service from Eddie Wright Car Supermarket …

We came to Eddie Wright Car Supermarket showroom in Scunthorpe last Thursday and we were dealt with by Brandon Bellingham.
Brandon was an extremely nice, helpful guy. He soon found us just that car we were looking for.
At all points he explained all the details to us and was very thorough in all matters.
Today we went to collect the car. More of the same from Brandon. Very professional and very friendly and thorough in all matters.
I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Avoid at all costs

Test drove a car I soon realised was unroadworthy. I returned to dealer who stated they would resolve issue and deposit paid. 3 weeks later, many lies and poor communication. no car and deposit still not returned.

Buy a car from them at your own risk. You won't get any support from them.

Great experience from start to finish

Great experience from start to finish, walked in and was greeted by Lewis who showed us around the cars and then took his time to discuss the best options for us. Walked out with a deal done and then collected the car a week later and it looked like a brand new car. Handover with the car was detailed and helped through every step with Lewis. Thanks for a great experience

Great dealership

Had a great experience buying my car from Eddie Wright. Lewis was brilliant throughout — polite, professional and easy to deal with from start to finish.
The car itself was presented immaculately on collection and I was offered a test drive.
The whole process was smooth and straightforward, with no pressure at any point.
I also received a fair part exchange price for my old car, which made the deal even easier.
Overall, a really positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.
