Beef Burgers with Plant Protein and…

Beef Burgers with Plant Protein and Onion. Are you serious. A Birds Eye beef burger has always been a little bit of a guilty pleasure. Occasional instead of a more expensive quality brand or homemade. I had a fancy for one the other day so scoured my local supermarkets only to find “Beef Burgers with Plant Protein and Onion” . Left with no other option I bought them. I ate one and binned the rest. Disgusting. Please go back to the original recipe and get rid of all the plant protein nonsense. Whoever came up with idea should be shot .

Plant Based food full animals!

Picked up a pack of their 'Plant Based' burgers only to find the next day when I went to cook them that they have egg and cheese in them! This isn't Plant Based food at all. Don't label your product plant based if it has animal product in it.

Frozen Fish Fingers inedible

The fish in this product was truly disgusting. It stank to high heaven and was a gelatinous gristly lump which I could not cut through even with my sharpest knife. All 6 went straight into the bin and the other packet I'd bought was removed from my freezer and swiftly joined them.
I hadn't had a birds eye fish finger since I was a kid and my memory was that they were always good and tasty.
No longer it seems, judging by the recent reviews below which seem to echo a similar experience to mine.
I'm very interested to note that Birds Eye do not comment on their reviews here, but if by some chance they are reading this I would advise them to check their quality control and, by the way, I'd like my money back

Disgusting, misleading

The advertising on the packaging on their fish portions state, omega 3, good for your heart, healthy, 100%. Fish.
I tried one and suffered awful heartburn and stomachaches, on removing the breaded part of the remaining portion I noticed what appeared to smell and look like some sort of white fatty substance between the very small portion of the fish and the breaded covering.
It was disgusting.
On further inspection of the box I noticed it was not 100% fish, but 51% Alaska pollock.
Why is this allowed ?

Battered fish fingers, Tried to cut through first one, but knife wouldn't cut through it. Inside was white rubbery substance full size of the fish finger. Then moved on to second one exactly the same. Straight in the bin they were inedible.

large garlic shrimp…

I purchased a large garlic shrimp skillet dinner at BJ’s and paid $11.29 and it was tasteless! No sauce! I was so disappointed because I have always enjoyed your products! The barcode was 014500016959! I am very Leary about buying anymore of your products! My daughter had the same experience with a small vegetable bag!

Shortcrust Chicken Pies...

So little meat in them you could be forgiven for thinking they were meant for vegetarians.
My wife and I had one each and quickly despatched the remaining two to the bin, we won't be wasting money on them again.

Just had green cuisine fishless fillets. I've been a vegetarian for over 50 decades. They were tasteless, quite unpalatable.

Birdseye is a lying, conniving company

You lot are taking the proverbial woofywoof. We just bought chicken pieces that used to be at least 55% meat. Now we just bought one saying 45%. No warning, no notice, just on the sly.
Needless to say we ae not going to buy any more of this kind of lying, scrounging crap, deceiving people who haven't got much money. Disgusting.

Chicken burgers

Hmm. Made from 100% chicken breast. Don't fall for it. It does not contain chicken breasts. Cooked one burger in the air fryer for a quick snack. I took one bite and spat it out 🤮
Don't know what the hell the burger is made from. The inside of the burger is just mashed up white stuff that does not taste like chicken. All I could taste was onions and I can't stand onions.
Why one earth do you put onions mixed with so your called chicken breast ? Same with Bernard Matthews turkey slices all I could taste was vinegar 🤮
Seriously the worst burger I've tasted also the size of the burger is ridiculously small.
Won't buy any Birdseye products again !!
Their food was not bad in the 1980's but now is just over priced disgusting fake food.

Quality has plummeted

I recently had two Birds Eye products that have deteriorated in quality to the point that they're inedible.

The first was their chunky battered fish fingers, which tasted solely of chlorine. I alerted them to this and they said precisely nothing about the issue, just sent me a voucher for more.

The second was their crispy battered chicken, which now tastes of fish and is a grey, gluey mess.

I've had Birds Eye all my life but I can't look at their products now without feeling sick.
