The quality of Thier haddock is awful coming from this so called well established company. The haddock in their products needs testing, because it always has a old fishy taste! I hope Birdseye finds this well and sorts out this issue, because as it stands I'm steering well clear for now!
The advert
The advert! The annoying “witch” weird quiet voice, can’t understand what she says, we turn the channel everytime it’s on, and stopped eating the product.
Speaks like she has some kind of meat in her mouth.
Plant based burgers “ don’t fall for the hype “
I have been an avid customer for years of Birds Eye burgers, I have had a quarter pound 100% beef burger for my dinner every day for years. I normally bought them from Iceland 6 x 4 packs every week. Unfortunately 3 months ago Iceland introduced the new tastier recipe, plant based. don’t take any notice of the hype they are terrible the flavour is no way nice and the burger breaks up in the frying pan before it is fully cooked. I thought I would try the smaller burger but only found that one too as this new recipe.

Purchased 2 boxes of 12 chicken dippers the other day. Cooked 1st box didn’t count them pre-cooked just emptied whole box into air fryer. Only found 11….checked the 2nd box which was obviously in freezer, opened & counted. Yes, there was only 11 again! I will be returning to Asda with the 2nd box definitely. Mistakes happen, but not two boxes ?!?!

I am very disappointed with the new recipe of birds eye burgers they do not taste the same and feel you need to put it back to how it used to taste. If this continues I will not be buying them anymore. Bring back the original recipe they taste better thanks
Just spat the first bit of what was…
Just spat the first bit of what was Birds Eye chunky fish finger out as they tasted off, like a mouldy taste in my mouth. I have cancer so definitely would not describe this food as fit for human consumption. Apparently it’s a cheap fish called Basa inside and not cod as I expected . Off to the chippy after dinner has been landed in the bin. Will be extra careful purchasing any Birds Eye foods in future due to poor quality and another very unhappy customer 🙁
I bought Birds eye chunky fish fingers
I bought Birds eye chunky fish fingers, I did not realise Bird's-eye changed the type of fish from yummy pollock to cheap horrible basa. After eating the fish fingers which had a slimy texture, I felt nauseas. Consumers don't always look on the packets if previously been happy with the fish in the packet they have been happy with please put on the front of the packet in the future so we have a choice , and all the time you put basa in I will never buy the Birds eye brand.

You'd think that a pea was a pea was a pea, but not so! Birdseye's frozen peas, garden and petit pois, really are better than any other brands I have tried by miles! Both the texture and the flavour are better. How can that be?
Birds Eye Waffles very bad
What is going on with the Birds Eye Waffles in Ireland? They are literally just air. Absolutely disgusting. Going to buy a better product and a nearly €5 a box it'll be a cheaper option too. I'll be passing this message on far and wide through all social media and word of mouth.
Beef reduced from 71% to 50%.
My family have loyally bought Birdseye products for generations because we thought they were a company who did the right thing and used the best ingredients. I have now discovered they have changed the recipe of their beefburgers by reducing the amount of beef in them by 30% and replacing it with a pea-based alternative (and kept the price the same.) As a result I no longer trust this company and will not buy any more of its products as they no longer represent good quality to me. Short changing your customers is a sure fire way of losing them for good.
Plastic found inside the fillet!!
I am still in shock after my baby girl was eating the fillet and found inside a piece of plastic!
Luckily I realised on time but the plastic was very sharp, it could end up very bad!
Don't buy!!!
I purchased a pack of 4 Birdseye original beef burgers...omg they shrunk to less that half the size of a small bun, absolute rip off!
I bought lean cuisine burgers, what crap
I bought lean cuisine burgers, what a load of crap, they were stodgy mushy mess, they are not cheap either, the taste was awful,so I gave them to my dog and even he turned his nose up at them and he will eat anything, get your act together birdseye,if you want to charge more for your meat free products than normal meat products make sure they are ok to eat
Bella girl

How to quantify revileing 8 battered fish fingers?
Dear goodness!
How on earth have you managed in recent weeis, to destroy your once very lovely 8 battered fish fingers?
6 weeks ago I purchased 8 battered fish fingers, they were totally inalienably delicious, they were at least: 15% larger, the batter was crisp moist and golden, the fish was actually real and flaked off pur white fluffy fish, today i had a filthy box of these, 4 for £4 at asda, My sainted aunt! they were frightening, small thin dried up with horrendous reconstituted grey oblong of compressed fishy dementedness.
Why? Why have you perpetrated this heinous miscreant act of desecration of your fish fingers against the good folk of the land?
Do you at birds eye, live in a denying and alternitive reality regarding your food stuffs?
You do know that we collectively know you've dumbed your brand right on down now by turning your foods in to gut churning gunk?
I Won't purchase your brand again, i can get so much better just by utilizing other brands.
You insult us All, and we Won't have it!!!
STONE in vegetable pack
I bought frozen vegetable and what I thought was a green pea ended up being a rock/stone, I took pictures sent reports, asked to have a tracked courier collect they refused and sent out a pack to retrieve then stated the package never ever did arrive. When this happened they offered £10 for my tooth, gum trauma and a stone in their food. Ridiculous
Disgusting!!!!!
Frankly a disgusting grey substance disguised as a fishfinger, or should I say a remnant of one.
The fact that they are now smaller selling at silly inflated prices is nothing short of a scandal. Considering they are no longer edible just adds to the woe.
Fish finger sandwich use to be the ultimate comfort food, just not with these vile specimens.
raw crispy chicken in tempura batter
chicken was ABSOLUTELY RAW.
child ate it and will now possibly contract food poisoning. very disappointed will not be buying again.

Cooked 2 packets of the chunky battered fish fingers. 8 were fine, but 4 inedible.
I do all the cooking,so I know what I am doing.
Birds Eye - New Chunky Basa Fish Finger
Birds Eye chunky fish fingers used to be made with Pollock, usually from the N.E. Atlantic, with a typical fish-finger crumb coating and were ok as a quick standby. Now they are made from Basa, a cheaper to buy fish, farmed in the Far East. The coating is of larger "breadcrumbs," in a slimy batter. The fish itself, a claimed 56% of the product, is unpleasant, with a different texture; the batch I bought had an almost chemical flavour. If usual white fish supplies have become so depleted through overfishing by giant supertankers, I guess companies will source from any available alternative producers, wherever in the world. There's an alternative marine stewardship logo on Birds Eye fish packaging now too, to cover Far Eastern areas.
