I got scammed like the rest of you. I was told my items were 100% cotton, no were near it, I asked for refund, they offered for me to keep what I bought & offered me to look at getting other items,(so I did) to the same value, took long time to get here from the Gold Coast & then they look very shabby & yellow tinge to the white material as though it is old & a pearl necklace, with no clasp on it . I will be putting in a complaint to Pay pal. Totally disgusted.

This is a scam. Bought 'high quality leather sandals' got cheap knock offs, synthetic, not even sized properly.
Same as others offered "keep your shoes and get something else worth the value!" nothing they sell is worth the cost paid.

I believed this company to be a trusted Australian brand with high quality garments. However when I placed an order (from within Australia) I was charged a surprising “international transaction fee” on my credit card.

When I received my order, I was horrified at the poor quality material and zero branding on the packaging. This quickly indicated that I did not buy what I thought I was getting from a reputable Australian company.

I then emailed their support team firstly to enquire about the extra credit card fee and they replied with information about sizing? Clearly dismissing my enquiry and no interest in addressing that with me. Then I asked for a return label and refund due to misleading information on the website about the garments and I’m incredibly disappointed. First they emailed me with the opportunity to keep the dresses and choose something else to the same value and they’ll ship out within 48hrs.

(In my head, why would I want anything else when I just expressed in my previous email how disappointing the quality was)

So I sent another email explaining that I just want a return/refund and be done with it. To which they replied with another offer, except this time it was for 20% refund and keep the items…

Personally, I’m absolutely furious with this. Firstly falling victim of a false online “Aussie” company (clearly it isn’t near to the standards we have here in Australia). And also reading here that I’m not the only one. This is terrible!

I’ll be following up with our Consumers Affairs to see what can be done, it’s not fair and this company needs to be held accountable.

These people are scammers - DO NOT ORDER from them. Selling ‘LINEN and COTTON’ clothing in disguise - it’s actually POLYESTER or POLYCOTTON. Liars and scammers. I’ll be proceeding legally.

As per all other reviews - it is not a Gold Coast company. They offer 30 day returns but refuse to send a return label. They offer replacements (why the clothes they send are not wearable). They then offer a %refund! Great business. Send crap worth $2 (if that) offer partial refund. They keep the rest.

Ordered a dress size small and a leather bag. Received after a month. The dress was oversized by 100. The dress looked like it was sown by an unprofessional person. No labels on the dress. The bag does not look like leather. Both items did not look like what they advertised. Asked for money back as they state 100percent guarantee if not satisfied. They would not give me back all my money. After numerous emails they only gave me 60percent of my money back. Beware

I should have read the reviews before ordering. Very deceptive company. I received a woman's shirt that was buttoned as a man's shirt, and definitely not the cotton material stated. I've felt pushed to accept a partial refund as I don't trust a return to an obscure address in China and would expect never to hear from them again, if I persisted with a full refund. Buyer Beware!!! This company are scammers in every way.

Purchased a leather bag from a closing down sale should have checked further received a very cheap version and fighting with pay pal as not what I ordered . This is definitely a scam keep away never to trust

As with other reviews got delivered a dress which was not in cotton as advertised
It also came from Hong Kong not as presented from the Gold Coast
Had no care labels no country of origin no content labels
The garment was in a very cheap polyester & very poorly made
Am going through a claim through PayPal as bought through them & sure we will get a refund less probably the foreign exchange fee which we didn’t expect as thought buying from an Australian company

This is a very clever scam they purport to be an Australian company having to liquidate their stock as closing down

You do not get what you ordered, it's cheap and nasty.
I asked for a refund, was offered 20% and keep the stuff. I said the products were useless and I wanted a full refund, they then offered 30%.
I told them they have broken many laws in Australia and I wanted a refund. They offered 40%. I was afraid that if I kept pushing, I would get nothing. I accepted the 40% and to my surprise, they paid it into my account today. I will always read reviews in the future and if there aren't any, I won't purchase.

Just received my dress that looks nothing like the picture.
I was looking forward to this beautiful dress and what a joke when i open my parcel.
It made in some knock off shop, very cheap material and i am so disappointed.
What a waste of my time, money and waited over a month to receive.
Don’t buy from them it’s a scam.
I didn’t even want to rate them a star.

Shit Company u are a por excuse for a company. Chinese yes had to be. Impossible to contact your customer services area. No contact phone number. Delivery took a month to arrived. Garments were for a birthday present. I will never buy from you again"

Like the other reviewers, I totally think this business is a SCAM. I was sent my request for a refund for 3 item, one didn’t fit and the other two are nothing like what’s pictured and described. Polyester instead of cotton.
I have received one reply email from “Emily” who I’m convinced is an AI robot, offering to replace the item that didn’t fit at no extra charge and I could keep the one I have. Didn’t address the other two requests.
I’m looking into my rights with ACCC, not holding out too much hope. Should have looked here before buying. 😢

It’s a scam I realised as soon as I could not find this company on the Gold Coast
Easy fixed I advised Emily that I didn’t want the Chinese product and cancel it please.
Sent an advise saying it was shipped and I can track it,
Rang bank and put in a dispute even commonwealth bank knew the scam so many.
The website it’s awesome to full people
Money refunded and advised Emily that she and her scam company didn’t get me and that she was a liar as much as they were

The clothes you order and the clothes received are an absolute joke, scam, scam, scam...it's not based at the Gold Coast. the clothes comes from China, and the clothes are cheap and nasty, but they charge as if they are quality garments.

Scammers and wow I spent a lot.Items arrived and very 4th rate rubbish.Nothing like the quality I had paid for.Aussies and New Zealanders take note.You can apply to your bank /card company as this shoddy stuff has no labels and it is illegal to sell clothes(Aus/NZ) without a care label/in english and permanently attached to the garment.This cheap group have provided us with illegal clothes.A thrift store/op shop couldn't accept them-no labels.Get your money back I'm going to

Total scam. Goods advertised as cotton and selling for good money turned out to be poorly designed, poorly cut, poorly made, even more poorly finished and synthetic. Heaps of money put into website and advertising. No money put into the products for sale. Product came direct from China from a company called ‘Yanwen’. I asked for a full refund. Emily offered 10%, then 20%, then 30%, then 40% final offer, then 50% final offer. Is now refusing to communicate with me.

I was misled into thinking the company was Australian based on its name 'Beaumont Gold Coast'. I bought a couple of dresses which are very poor quality and requested a refund. Hahaha, what a joke. This is the response I received from Emily at Beaumont Clo:
"As we prepare to close our store, all items are now Final sale. This means we will not be accepting returns. However, to better accommodate our customers, we are offering the option of partial refunds instead of returns for any issues you may encounter with your purchase.
As a resolution to your concerns, we would like to offer a 30% refund of your purchase as a final offer.
We encourage you to take advantage of our remaining stock during this final sale and appreciate your understanding as we navigate this transition." What transition? Closing down is closing down!!!
I'll point out that they still have:
"30 DAYS RETURN GUARANTEE
After receiving your order, you have 30 days to decide whether to keep the product or return it effortlessly." As for closing their store, I'm sure they will set up again under another name.
All I want is my money back as promised. I don't want to keep the poor quality dresses I was sent.
My next step is the ACCC!

Do not buy. Leather bags, where was the leather. In fact where were the bags. Just pieces of cheap plastic sown together. Just so disappointed, luckily I did a test run, as everyone was getting beautiful leather bags for Christmas. Not!!! I beg you please don’t buy from this company
