Slow delivery from Mexico to US and hard to install …
Arrived later than anticipated and estimated but customer service was very helpful in tracking and expediting. Somewhat complicated to install. No instructions for installing Roller shade tension device. Had to modify the device to make the chain go through it. Seems like good quality overall, and will do the job, but I was expecting more.

The blinds came well packaged and all the hardware included. We have ordered the same blinds from this company twice in the past and have never been disappointed. This time we decorated and replaced the previous blinds with a different color. The others are fine but just didn’t go with the new paint color. They installed easily and look great!

Blackout blinds that do not work
The blinds were manufactured in such a way that they hang slightly more than an inch from the window. I had ordered blackout blinds, and because of this manufacturer decision all kinds of light come into the room from the sides. I spoke with the company's service department who confirmed that the blinds did not have a defect; they were designed that way, and did no more to help. So the blinds are useless for what I purchased them for.

Delays in production I called to find out what the issue was customer service was good received an email saying blinds would ship on the 10th with a tracking number which didn't happen several days later different email different tracking number different production location but actual pickup from FedEx

Great blinds, a little pricy
My wife has been buying cellular shades from American Blinds for the past 10 years. They last great, are easy to install (with a drill). The top-down / bottom-up style are great for letting in light at the top, while maintaining privacy.

Same Quality, Same Colors 6 years Later
We ordered our first American Blinds 6 years ago, when we built our covered porch. The afternoon sun would be hot and blinding. My husband actually called and ordered the blinds himself. American Blinds were hung and problem solved.
Now, 6 years later we added a pool house, and the glare from the afternoon sun prevented my husband from watching TV. 6 years later, American Blinds still has the same quality material, same color offered and fixtures for installing.
So, the blinds on our covered porch and pool house all match - ordered 6 years apart.
American Blinds are very well made. Our 1st set has not faded, the pulleys work great - and I have nothing to say but good things. Order these blinds today. They last and do their job perfectly.

Worst Experience Ever, No Product Delivered!
I have ordered many composite shutters in previous years from American blinds and the experience has been great. However, My latest order was made on 3/22/2023 and the experience has been horrendous. Upon ordering and placing the order, it stated that the normal time for delivery is sixty days after order. it is now over sixty days. About two weeks after placing the order, I received a notification stating the item had been shipped From china. The estimated delivery date was the last week in april. After not receiving the order on May 1st, I contacted American blinds and they advised the order was due to dock in Texas from China on May 5th 2023. On May 9th, I contacted American blinds once again and they advised the order Was not yet even in production in china, over sixty days later. Upon checking american blinds website, it said the same thing. After contacting American blinds for the 3rd or 4th time they advised 2 things, one was that it was still in production and the other customer Service rep said it was on the ship and not due to dock until the 2nd week in June. Upon checking google, every Link I clicked on stated it normally takes 3-4 Weeks to ship from China and 6 weeks for the longest time, but now it's well over that time frame. No one at american blinds seems to be in agreement with what is going on with the order. I am very concerned that I have been robbed of over a thousand dollars. I doubt that I will
ever receive the order and I doubt that I will ever be reimbursed for my $1,100 charge. Worst experience ever! Very disappointed.

Overall positive experience. Good quality and very reasonably priced. Did have an issue with measurement .... Bay window so brackets would run into each other and middle was too wide. Solution suggested was to buy a new one instead of being able to send it back to be re-cut (was willing to pay for shipping)

First rate product and service
The blind I ordered came perfectly sized and well packaged. It also arrived sooner than originally expected. Only complaint, and it is really more a suggestion, is adding to the installation instructions, a procedure for centering up the lifting cord so that the cord stop allows full extension and retraction of the blind. I had no trouble doing this adjustment but that is because I have installed 100s of blinds using this style lifting mechanism. Overall experience with American Blinds is 5 star for service and quality. Would definitely buy again and again!

2nd time with these blinds
WE ordered the identical blinds as before as the first one got wrecked by a water leak. Only these are room darkening-- which they do. They don't quite drop all the way to the sill however. Not sure if its my measurement-- or because they are thicker. Haven't had them very long So hard to know how they will hold up with opening and shutting. Came quickly
