Rented a YARIS CROSS for 3 wks from…

Rented a YARIS CROSS for 3 wks from Christchurch to Auckland Airport. Vehicle was in excellent condition with ideal performance for New Zealand’s varied road surfaces. Collection and drop off from Omega was excellent, very professional inc booking of the ferry. Recommend taking gold cover with 0 excess which includes windscreen protection an absolute necessary given the condition of the roads.

Professional service to identify electrical fault.

Professional service vehicle fixed promptly after electrical failure causing breakdown and recovery.
The 4th time In two years the vehicle was subject to further diagnostics to hopefully identified the cause, unfortunately it’s an expensive process!

Winter sale

Tried to buy a new waterproof coat during the sale offered at £152 but price escalated to £250 overnight. Claimed to be a limited offer and withdrawn, who would know!
Doesn’t reflect well on their reputation adjusting prices mid sale!

Communication is poor no advanced…

Communication is poor no advanced warning of renewal pending. A simple email advising the new rate would be preferable at least it gives the policy holder a choice to review the policy.

Hi Richard,

We email policy holders 30 days prior to their renewal date to inform them of their new quote and also if any further action is required. We also send a follow up email, a day before the policy renews.

Latest Haynes online manuals are a real disappointment

Signed up to an auto fix edition of the Haynes manual for 2020 ford Focus (order no 910949) to find how to replace a fog light bulb. The manual is a real disappointment, no basic info on repair and maintenance, in fact a complete waste of money. I have used Haynes manuals for several vehicles in the past but this latest online version lacks detailed images and is poorly edited. I realise after 10 minutes my mistake and requested a refund which is being processed. Thankyou for the prompt reply

Disappointing automated customer response system…

Scotts use an automated response system so you have to jump through many hoops to try and resolve a problem with a delivery, its very frustrating it should be quite straightforward to process.? I ordered two polo shirts but only 1 arrived despite the delivery note indicating 2. The price tag on the received shirt was £29 but I was charged £35?
I have asked for £41 refund but customer returns seem unwilling to process, very disappointing for such a well established business such as JD Sports.
