Great lads

I was kept well informed by text and then phone calls from lads who delivered my freezer. The helped unpack it, took all the rubbish away and put it where it needed to go.

From start to finish dealing with…

From start to finish dealing with Quickline has been really good. Marc who initially took my call and guided me through the process, the lads who came to fit the line and then finally Gary A who installed the equipment in the house. Gary got there very late on Friday night through no fault of his own and stayed until everything was connected and took the time to talk me through everything.

Also I actually have the 500mbs that I’ve actually signed up for, this is a first for me actually getting the speed quoted.

All in all I couldn’t be more pleased, great work Quickline.

What a terrible company to deal with

What a terrible company to deal with. Turn up at the booked carpark to find that my vehicle doesn’t fit in the car park even though it stated it was suitable for large SUV’s.

No refund offered, also the parking was actually cheaper at the car park than we paid online.

We truly regret the inconvenience you experienced upon arrival at the NGE Talensac car park.

We have checked the information on the car park's page, and it does indicate under "Allowed vehicles" that the maximum authorised height is 1.80 m. This is a restriction applied by the car park operator for all vehicles, regardless of type, including large SUVs.

Avoid and go elsewhere

I ordered a part for a dyson which cost less than a fiver - 18 days later it’s still not here and their customer service is nonexistent. Avoid and just buy from your local shop or if you can’t venture out go to Amazon.

In fact Amazon have delivered the part for cheaper and quicker than this lot took to reply to my emails.

They don’t even read your email and just send you robotic replies because that’s their ‘process’.

Orders placed on UK Standard delivery are despatched via Royal Mail and usually delivered within 3-5 working days. We are required to allow 10 working days for Royal Mail to deliver & lapse before the order can be classed as lost in transit after which we will either refund or replace the order.

Deliveries have been impacted by Royal Mail delays.

The service has been fairly appalling…

The service has been fairly appalling from day one - I received no confirmation from them that they had my watch - in fact the first email I have ever got from LWR was a revised quote at almost twice the price of the estimate. After spending two weeks looking at nothing but the outside of my watch I get a call saying you can't do the service and will need to send it away (I have no idea what you did for the first two weeks?).

Afer chasing again I then get an email with a new quote and after being told it would be similar to the price you had estimated I find it had gone up by over 200%! Also if I did want the strap cleaning as well then this would now be almost 4 times the original quote. So a rise from £410 to almost £1000!! I understand an estimate and how they work but you blatantly misled me to get me to send you my watch and hope I would just say yes, at least that is how it feels. And all you have done since (in one email) is quote me some terms and conditions!

At no point has any one tried to rectify this issue or even apologise - I even had to pay £21 to get my watch back!

Unless you want to be watchless for a month and then £20 out of pocket with very little communication or understanding of what customer service is I would avoid this company.

Update - my quote number is QU-25390/80306 - but I must say it's a bit late trying to sort this now I have reveiwed. You have had ample time to reply to my email which you have just ignored.

Dear Mr Jenkins,

I am very sorry to read of your disappointment with the estimate and quote received.

I have looked into this and can confirm that you sent your watch to our main service centre via our free, pre-paid postage pack (tracked & insured to £25,000).

Following inspection at our service centre, due to the specific model and movement calibre, we requested to send your watch directly to Panerai (the manufacturer of your watch).
As we are a part of the official Richemont network, we are able to utilise the services of our partners within the Richemont Group, where necessary.

You kindly accepted this and requested that we send your watch to Panerai, in order for a free, no obligation estimate to be produced.

Upon receipt of the estimate, you declined to proceed and requested for the watch to be returned.
Please note, the optional extra to fully refurbish the case and bracelet was provided on the estimate by Panerai and provided to yourself, as an option.

I do appreciate that you received an estimate prior to sending in your watch, which was less. However, these are always guideline prices and I can see that we advised you at the time, it was provided 'subject to inspection of the watch'.

Once the watch arrived back at our service centre (25/11/20) you were notified via email and we dispatched the watch to you on the same day, on next day special delivery (tracked & insured).

Your claim that we 'misled' you is entirely false and completely unfounded.
Furthermore, we also incurred postage costs in securely sending your watch to Panerai.

Once again, I am very sorry to read of your disappointment on this occasion and I can assure you that we acted in good faith with solely an intention to provide you with an estimate, in order for your watch to be serviced, to manufacturer specifications.

I remain at your disposal should you wish to discuss this further and your comments have been escalated to our Head of Customer Care in order to identify areas in which we can look to improve.

Really great customer service

Really great customer service, the incorrect item was sent originally but just one phone call and the correct one was with me by 10.00am the next day. Things don't always go right but I think its how they are dealt with when it happens that shows the true colours of a company - well done Direct2mum.

Expert advice in a friendly manner

I have used Jim @ Man 4 Mortgages for the past 10 years, his knowledge of the market place is second to none and his advice is always spot on. He will look at different areas and comes up with solutions that I would never have thought of. He does all of this in friendly efficient manner, never pushy and explains in a way that takes away a lot of the financial jargon which can sometimes be so confusing.
