Hairtrade please read - BEWARE: SO NOT WHAT’S ADVERTISED

UPDATE:
What a surprise. Hairtrade don’t agree they can get things wrong and so I’m lumbered with this awful product. £111 Wasted. Expensive life lesson.

They trade under many names and I found this out with just one call to head office. Worrying.
Read their T&C’s very carefully - Beware don’t open packaging or you won’t get anywhere with them If you have an issue. How can you tell item is not good unless you open it up??
They know only way to get refund is to go to small claims court and that costs more than the item !! They get to keep money, client goes elsewhere - probably to a company they own. Nice work if you can get it.
GIRLS, just be careful With these people. They know the system and play it. (Aug2020).
A caring, good company would refund me. Hairtrade will not. I hope they’ll reconsider and do the right thing, after reading my honest review.

I chose them after research and I read so many amazing reviews. I understand things can go wrong but a company is best judged by HOW it treats an unhappy customer.

Apparently, An item can’t be returned for refund if item is opened up and removed from packing to inspect . You have to remove packing to fully inspect item fully.
This is when I discovered item is Nothing like what was described. I should be able to get a refund for this item under consumer protection laws.

Hair is lovely, silky. Yes, it is. I was very pleased. So I opened up packaging to excitedly inspect.

Then the problem is apparent.

Very, very ludicrously thin - hardly “double weft” as advertised( how many of us would REALLY know what the weight means and the band and clips take most of the weight advertised so leaves practically nothing for actual hair.) I understand colours can be a little different but what was sent was nothing remotely close to their picture,( but I knew I could blend them)

I’m so disappointed and very angry. Cheap product at inflated price. I’ll let you know what hairtrade says to me. I hope they do refund. They really should. I’m told they are a caring company

We are sorry to hear that you have an issue with this hair product, we have double checked the product page and all the details are specified and the hair is indeed double weft, This hair is a full head for usual people. We are confident these hair products are amongst the best value available on the market and we will accept return in case the hair product is faulty.

If you have any doubt please get in contact with customer service and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible

Update Aug 2020: the customer services team had responded to the related thread and explained the product is not faulty after examining the returned items. We tried out best to notify in both the online customer services help section and also at the bottom of the order invoice: "Due to hygiene reasons hair extensions must be unworn and not removed from the cardboard backing before returning or exchanging and the bonding intact. All returned goods must be in a saleable condition and the hair products must not have been used or handled"
