Easy to use website and transparent…
Easy to use website and transparent around insurance. I even got the car that we had specified. This must be a car rental company first! It also meant no upselling at the airport as we had full insurance before we left. So much easier and well recommended by Which.

The booking process was…
The booking process was straightforward. Unfortunately the company chosen was very difficult to deal with! We were given a very underpowered car as an alternative to our choice The agent was adamant that we needed extra insurance despite Zest telling us we didn’t. I would not want to use Record Go again as they continually delayed the handover period

Great transparent service
Great transparent service. Particularly like that there is no extra refundable deposit required. I simply paid for the hire car and insurance and a small local fee when collecting the car.

New visitors to Faro airport.
Having not been to Faro airport for many years, the development works were quite substantial. The instructions to find the car rental booth were provided, but as there is more than one exit from the departure lounge building it caused us some confusion. A simple map for first time users or those who have not been there in years would make it clear which way to head. As soon as we found the booth only about 200 metres away, the experience was nearly all positive. The agent explained everything politely, clearly and concisely. The whole process was fairly quick and we were on our way after about 10 minutes. The cars were excellent and the price was very competitive. We would use them again and recommend highly to others. The drop off was easy although the charge for an early out of hours return was a bit difficult to understand. We were told on booking the 30 euros was to pay for somebody to be there out of hours to check the car over on return for condition and fuel level. In reality the agent told us to park the cars where we picked them up from and leave the keys above the drivers sun visor. Nobody there to check the cars so how any alleged damage to vehicles during the hire period would be difficult to prove/disprove either way. The information provided by Zest from beginning to end was really good and apart from us losing our way on arrival it was a very pleasant experience.

Zest ok- supplier Drivalia absolutely awful!!! Never again.
Zest as the broker were actually ok except there was no number to call when I had a problem and the local supplier didn’t pick up. Price was reasonable. Local supplier Drivalia were AWFUL! Took ages to pick us up from the airport to their base and took about 90 mins to give us the car. There was then a query on some damage that was on the car but not listed on their paperwork and I had to wait even longer to get it added to the damage report- which they were EXTREMELY rude about, refused to re-print the rental agreement and manually added the damage with a date stamp. As predicted when we returned the car we had a huge row with them because they were trying to charge us for the damage we raised despite it being listed on the rental agreement manually. Eventually they relented when another, clearly more senior, member of staff admitted they shouldnt have done it that way and it should have been recorded properly (what I was trying to get them to do!!). They also tried to sell us loads of extra insurance and told us that if we had a mechanical breakdown, they would charge us €280 to come get the car !!!!! Overall it delayed us by about 2.5 hours - lovely when you have been travelling all day. I will never ever use that cowboy supplier ever again.! Zest need to cease working with them if they want to keep a good reputation.

An excellent experience at Kalamata Airport - everything was very smooth and efficient from start to finish.
We were met on arrival at the airport and were in the car and on our way within 20mins.
All online forms worked so no duplication of paperwork on arrival.
No aggressive upselling, no hassle, no queuing or waiting.
The return was equally hassle free and efficient. Fabulous, friendly staff.
What a refreshing relief - in 30yrs of renting cars on holiday, we have never experienced a car rental company that works as it should do - hooray!
