Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 107 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company, often finding it to be a suitable and superior alternative to Skype for international calls. Customers appreciate the ease of use, transparent pricing, and the ability to make calls to landlines and mobiles at very affordable rates. Many highlight the simplicity of the app and the straightforward sign-up process, making it accessible even for those less tech-savvy. The service is frequently praised for its reliability, clear sound quality, and consistent connections, even when calling from various international locations. However, some people mentioned issues with call quality, such as calls cutting out or not connecting, and occasional problems with incoming calls not getting through. A few other people also felt that mobile connection rates, particularly to certain regions, were too expensive and that call charges were not always transparent, with some experiencing unexpected deductions from their balance.

Super Simple!

Another Skype convert here. Needed a way to phone landline numbers back at home while I am overseas. So far very impressed with the quality, the customer service, and value for money. And love how quick and easy it was to add credit. Great for when you are in a rush and need to make a quick call.

The calls are clear and good volume

The calls themselves are clear and the maximum allowable volume is high, an improvement from Skype which is now shutting down. A little tricky to set-up as on website not an app (on my iPhone) but with patience fine. Clear rates too, simply charged per minute, rounded up to nearest minute.

Winning alternate to Skype calling

Have only started with yadaphone so this review is mostly the signup related..
I found the website a bit slow to load, with little indication of what was loading - ie click Signup while main page was loading and there was little to show it was switching to the sign-up screen, but patience! it eventually shows up.
Nice it needs only a email - simple password - after all we are not protecting the crown jewels. The "human verify" was slow and MUST complete before hitting the final "sign-up" button.
Yada sends a confirmation email - either this is verrrryyyyy slow and I was impatient but I needed to try signing up several times before I finally got the email - from there is was fine.
Adding credits was a breeze - nice and familiar PayPal.
First call - simple and nice and clear what the cost will be. Connection to the line was fast. Starting volume was good at normal setting for listening to video. First few seconds of my greeting had and echo which disappeared quickly (2-5 seconds) from there call quality was excellent with no delay or lag.

I'm very impressed with Yadaphone

I'm very impressed quite honestly. I live in South Africa and my elderly mum lives in the UK. I used to call to her landline via Skype but Skype is now shutting down so I've been looking for other options. I investigated Viber, Rebtel, Mytello and Talk360 but for various reasons none of these fitted the bill or just would not work; Rebtel doesn't allow calls to switchboards for instance. So, thanks Yadaphone, you're fitting the Skype void very well.

So Glad I Found Yadaphone!

I'm extremely happy with Yadaphone's service! Everything was fast, smooth, and the support team was very friendly and helpful. Yadaphone is one of the best alternatives for replacing Skype Calls and Skype Numbers — the quality and reliability are excellent. I highly recommend Yadaphone to anyone looking for a great service and a seamless communication solution. Thank you!

Very good for international calls

Very good! Its easy to use and cheaper than other international calls apps, and no need to download an app, you can call from the website. Also you can buy a number in case you want another person to be able to call you, although i haven't tried that yet. Im glad I found Yadaphone

The best alternative to Skype

Been using Skype for years to call my parents mainly from overseas so looked at a few replacements as it’s been phased out and Yada was the easiest and simplest transition. Great app up and running in minutes.
