Hotel that feels like a converted office block
We choose to stay closer to the arena than in the centre - Taxi out 30mins and 70e approx. But the metro is 5 mins away and takes 20mins. (15 mins walk approx to Johan Cruff)
Hotel has an automated check-in/out ok fairly simple and you print as many key cards as you need.
The ensuite is amazing made up for the shoddy carpet in the room (big hole) cigarette burn in the net curtain and the wonky chair + USB points that don't work!

Room was nicely presented with nice en suite, comfortable beds and an excellent coffee machine.
We paid a fair bit more than I wanted to but that might be down to timing.
Breakfast is 20 euro pp. on top but that is not out of the way compared to other places in the area.
The hotel is handy for some museums and boat rides, the Hard Rock Cafe and the Leiden district of bars and eateries.
A tram line into the city centre and Centraal station runs from close by.

Great location, best staff, so comfortable, just a flawless stay
Great location, well-connected public transport with the number 7 tram into the heart of Amsterdam and the 369 GVR bus to Schiphol Airport. Supermarkets, restaurants, indoor and outdoor markets nearby, and even a Domino's Pizza for those homesick.
I was in a double room during a late May heatwave. The room was air-conditioned and could be remotely changed if needed at the front desk, if you get confused with the controls, as I did. As a large, tall man, the higher and king-size bed was welcoming and very comfortable. I was in a corner room that had a lot of windows with net curtains and blackout curtains that overlooked the canal next to the hotel, which was lovely. Free Wifi was flawless on a public holiday weekend. The en-suite bathroom was great, the overhead shower was above my 2 metre head easily, and an optional smaller shower head for smaller showers. A note, the air conditioning does not extend to the en-suite, so during a heatwave it can be warm inside, but you are not living in there, so the door keeps the heat out. The wardrobe has its own lights, a few hangars, a few seats around the room, a large TV, lamps, type C and type F electrical sockets running at 230V and 50Hz. I did like the hard stone-topped cabinet to put your suitcase on, much suited to a cabin suitcase, very useful and no need to put on the clean bed with dirty wheels. The whole room was very clean, and the cleaners operate from around 11am - 4pm, I even leit ft one day at 3:15pm and the room was cleaned when I got back later that night.
Outside the room, air-conditioned corridors, two elevators on either side of an easy-to-use and wide staircase. Very clean environment, it does get a little messy early afternoon during the cleaners, but that is to be expected. Also, independent toilets from the rooms on each floor, per side of the hotel. Very useful in case something happens in your room.
The best part, though, was the staff, so helpful, constructive, so friendly. Well done to them, flawless service all around.
I had a very easy and comfortable stay, and felt more rested than at home in the UK, with little worries.
Finally, Amsterdam tap water is some of the finest in the world, water from the Rhine River undergoes cleaning before being pumped into the protected Dutch sand dunes. No chlorine, strict monitoring with advanced technology and finally UV disinfection before it's pumped into the city. It truly tastes like the best bottled water you can get, but it's free. I know this because I am from London, where I need to filter my water all the time. The hotel's supply is excellent and cold during a heatwave.

This hotel was based in a good location. Easy access to tram, station and some good local shop/restaurants around. Hotel itself was good and clean. We booked a twin room, the space was quite tight but okay for a quick trip. However, the beds were quite uncomfortable and when checking the mattresses were not great. Everything else was great!

Bedroom was comfortable and air conditioning kept the room at a good temperature.

Not too bad but would not choose again
Room was nice enough and shower room too but one of the cleaners refused to clean it in the afternoon and I had to call reception…. It was not clear I had to hang sign out earlier! staff was quite friendly but not too “forward”’in sharing essential information. Someone fighting : shouting in the corridor at night! Didn t have the energy to call reception as they told me I should have done the next morning. Location between airport and city centre quite good, but very ethnic, and no nice bars or pubs around. I stayed there 2 nights with my daughter. They could have offered a little thing to make us feel better but no one did

highly recommended for a comfortable stay
I had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. Everything was clean, quiet, and well organized. I really appreciated the extra amenities, such as the vending machines where you could easily buy drinks and snacks at any time. The room was well equipped with a coffee machine and a refrigerator, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, I really liked the whole system and concept of the hotel. Had a good stay here. Room was nice and clean, very good aircon, lovely spacious room with a good view.
Location is a little away from the central area, but transport options and good and easy so wasn’t a problem at all.

No air conditioning-> No sleep.
Not being able to sleep in a hotel room is a cardinal sin of hospitality. And trying to sleep in a room with no air conditioning and a window that only opens 10 cm is not a pleasant experience. Of 2 nights, one night the air conditioning did not work: Error code 6607. Reception did not have a fan for us, it did not have a technician to fix it. This, in a advanced society, not a third world country... (!)

Great hotel but issues with air conditioning
The location of the hotel is so convenient, super easy to go to the city centre, because of the tram 2 stop right in front of the hotel. The room was very nice and clean, had everything you might need also the bathroom was nice and roomy as well. The only drawback I encountered was that the room was very hot since I was staying there during a heat wave in Amsterdam, the air conditioner in the room wouldn’t go below 19 degrees Celsius, so it was just blowing warm air. When I went to the front desk to ask if they could make the room cooler, I was told that it was impossible to set the temperature lower than 19 degrees Celsius. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. However, the fact that the air conditioning was not working somewhat spoiled my experience at the hotel.

Cheap services under the guise of overrated number of stars
For the price bracket the service is subpar. No glassware in the room, only plastic cups. Plastic coffee cup had a crack in the bottom, spilling hot water all over the coffee maker. The bed sheet had a visible stain. You won’t be able to open your windows because of the highway noise straight next to the hotel, busy at all hours. It’s good to sleep between activities in Amsterdam if you have business around the area but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend.
