Well, the thing is is like most people said, bought it and the reason I bought it was because you didn’t have to pay monthly to run any of its programs and now all of a sudden they shut me down I can’t do nothing unless I upgrade and pay monthly
Used to be able to review videos on my camv3. Now they won’t let me without upgrading. False advertising. Never would have purchased otherwise. And zero help from customer service. Total b.s.

We have several Wyze cameras and have a love/hate relationship with them. Affordable but yes, they can be glitchy.... not always connecting or giving delayed notifications. Because we don't rely on them for security we have been mostly able to overlook them. However, recently they offered a good deal on their annual subscription service that we wanted to take advantage of. Tried for the entire day of the sale with repeated error messages to the affect of "site not working try again or contact us". At the end of the day, after numerous attempts, I reached out to costumer service. No response for over a week and then I was told the offer had expired and there was nothing they could do about it. Such poor customer service. Heed the warnings and look elsewhere

I bought the most expensive item wyze has. Their robot vacuum. It worked fine for a while, but then wouldn't work properly. When I finally realized it hadn't been working properly, I reached out to them, but they wouldn't do anything because I reached out after their warranty period. If it had been anything other than a defective product, I would have understood, but selling a defective product (one that their diagnostics logs determined was defective from the get-go) and not standing behind their work is pretty sad. They continue to insist on giving me a $50 gift card to wyze (a company I will never buy anything from again) for their defect on a $250 product. After several weeks of back and forth with their poor customer service I've decided to write wyze off and never purchase from them again. Find a better company with a better made product and save your money and sanity.

I've already been down this rabbit hole with you before and submitted multiple tickets because you guys kept closing them out on me. Which one do you want to reopen? You wasted so much time already, only to tell me, "it wasn't our fault, you were outside the 1-year window, here's a gift card that doesn't even come close to what you spent on our defective product." Send me a new robot vacuum and stop wasting my time. Your 1-star review on here shows how pathetic you are as a company, and the hundreds of 1-star reviews show it over and over and over and over again.

I purchased 26 window/door sensors, 9 motion sensors, 3 cameras, 1 hub, one keypad, 1 socket plug and other stuff I can’t remember, mid December 2024. I received the items in a reasonable period of time, wasn’t bad turn around time at all.
When I began to connect all the window and door sensors up, they connected to the hub without issue. Due to the fact I had so many, I immediately secured the sensors to their location. I competed all of the sensors connected to the hub and placed all the sensors on the doors and windows and identified them as such.
All of the sensors showed a green light, showing they were all active and working properly. The Hub stated that it needed to have a firmware update, so I hit the update button, and after the job updated, ALL of my sensors went offline and I was unable to get them to go back online.
I contacted tech support, and they did a couple things, with no success and then advised they would send me out a new hub, which they did.
I received the hub, connected the hub and attempted to connect any of the numerous sensors that I had, with no success. I repeatedly attempted to connect various sensors around the house to the hub and nothing would connect at all, none of them.
I again contacted tech support and after 46 minutes of waiting on hold, I hung up.
The next day I called tech support, received an answer, and she was useless and provided no help. She simply said we will put a ticket in for the issue and you should receive a response in 24-48 hours.
I have a system that nothing works whatsoever and after having secured all of the sensors to the doors and windows I’m going to have to take them all off and return everything.
I’m not going to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars of my hard earned money on a system that does not work, and after reading some of these reviews, apparently is a common issue after trying to update the firmware on any of their products.
Their customer service was rude, not helpful what so ever, and I didn’t even think they have any technology background. It’s like they are reading from a script and just keep reading from the script when I tried to interject a comment. I’m still waiting for a call back from my first contact with tech support or an email. I have received nothing.
Time to take everything off and return everything, and contest my purchase with the credit card company as having received a product that does not work at all.

Had a similar experience. We have purchased over 30 cameras, and their monthly plan. Had a $30.00 camera go bad, spent 40 minutes in a chat, and finally was told it was outside their warranty. Waste of my time.

Terrible products, terrible customer support. Someone should file a lawsuit. Devices won’t connect to the internet, once they do, they will disconnect with each firmware update. I have wasted so many hours trying to get the devices set up and on hold. DO NOT BUY!
I ordered a Wyze product one week ago, and it still has not shipped. Getting a real person to have an on-line chat is ridiculously difficult; their AI chatbot keeps you going and going in something akin to an old-school do-loop. Plus, it literally took the human(oid) Agent 10 minutes to tell me that my order is "in processing". Which is what I was told 3 days ago. So....7 days and counting on my order. Who in the world takes 7 days to ship an in-stock order?? I regret ever ordering from this company...

Bought a sub with the wrong email. Requested to change to a different email. Pretty basic request right? Nope. They can't do it. I'd need to cancel the sub (no refund btw), then buy it again on the new account.
It’s outrageous how irresponsible Wyze’s customer service has been throughout my entire experience. First, I placed an order at full price, and just a week later, the price dropped. When I requested a price match, Wyze flat-out refused. To make matters worse, when I attempted to place the same order during the sale—at least five times—Wyze kept canceling my order for no reason. Every time they canceled, they invalidated my promo code, so I couldn’t even try again without being penalized. This is unacceptable and shows complete disregard for customers.
On top of that, my original order was promised to arrive by December 6th, and Wyze assured me that if it didn’t, they’d replace it with a new one. But instead of keeping their word, they wasted my time for days, making me chase down their shipping company, OnTrac, which has been unresponsive and unreliable. Wyze chose to cut costs by using this unknown, cheap shipping service instead of a trusted carrier like UPS, USPS, or FedEx. Now my package is likely lost, and instead of honoring their replacement promise, they’re pushing a refund as the only solution—again, completely ignoring their responsibilities.
It’s clear Wyze doesn’t care about its customers. They throw all the work back on us, refuse to help, and waste our time just to offer meaningless resolutions in the end. I even asked them to price match the sale price with my original order, so I wouldn’t have to return it, and they said no. All they do is push customers around and hope they give up. If this is how Wyze operates, they won’t last in a competitive market—no matter how “affordable” their products might be.
Wyze, you’ve proven you don’t value your customers. I’m done wasting my time with a company that can’t deliver on its promises or provide basic customer service.
I have 4 Wyze V3 cameras. They were fine until I updated the firmware. They no longer alert me or record. I have tried repeatedly to deal with customer service and they have closed out my support ticket twice with no resolution. They seem to NOT want to deal with their update failures. I WANT a refund.
I bought a Wyze Cam v3 as a birthday gift from the Wyze website. When you put the item in the cart, they package it up with purchase protection and a one-month trial of the CamPlus subscription. In the very fine print of the order confirmation email, they say that you are now enrolled in a monthly subscription and have to log into your account if you want to cancel. I didn't even create an account... I just purchased a camera. I tried to contact the support email listed on the Paypal site along with the charge and got a bounce-back message saying that the email didn't exist. I needed to dig out the order confirmation, create an account, and then cancel this subscription that I was essentially tricked into subscribing to. It's a deceptive and unethical business practice. I can't imagine how many folks get victimized by it. I hope the $2.99 is worth having a garbage reputation forever and no repeat customers.
Dreadful system, completely unreliable. Constantly going off line and unable to view livestream. I am in the UK whom they have stopped selling to. The advice, when I get it, is always to power off and power on again. It will work for a while then stop. Strangely the alerts work, just not the feed. I wish it was good but sadly the updates seem to have made it very buggy. My experience goes back years and sadly it has not improved.
No customer service AT ALL. E-mail, phone, anything is hard to come by. And when you do find the information. Their e-mail isn't looked at anymore. Oh and when I call them... No one picked up! I waited for almost an hour. There was a brief moment when it rang and then it went back on hold. Spoke to no one. Oh the support line is in Washington. I just got my phone bill and got billed almost $60 for long distance call AND I SPOKE TO NO ONE. Do I recommend them? Before... but now.... not at all. I say STAY AWAY from this company whatsoever. There are many reviews and forums over on reddit and trustpilot who says the same thing!
The camera we were using has not been working since June 2024. We switched over to fibre optics 5G as we had no choice from our cable company and the camera would not connect no matter what we tried. I attempted to cancel our subscription but it is to no avail. Nov 17 2024 WYZEZ debited our credit card for another year even though we cancelled. I cannot even find where our credit card info is stored in the app. Their instructions on line on how to cancel are so confusing and they are AI generated, there is no proper solution. There is a phone number but the number is NEVER answered. They do not offer/allow refunds either. We are really angry with this situation. FREE ADVISE: DO NOT PURCHASE A WYZE CAMERA, NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. IF YOU DO PURCHASE, BE PREPARED FOR A RUN AROUND. THIS WYZE COMPANY ARE THIEVES AND LIARS. THEY ARE NOT "WISE" AND THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE "SUCKS" TOO.
I placed an order on 11/12/24 by mistake and tried to cancel within 51 minutes of placing the order. I am told there is actually a 2hr window to cancel. WYZE shipping disregarded the cancellation and charged me and shipped the order (I attempted to cancel). I returned the order promptly and then WYZE still did not give me a full refund like every other company will do. They charged me almost $10.00 for their shipping department's error. I cannot recommend this Company WYZE to anyone. They mess up and steal from their customers.
I used to be able to play back video without purchasing a subscription, now u can’t even play back! Wyze used to be a good option but now I’ll go with another company maybe adt or someone else because Wyze isn’t for the ppl their just like big companies their for a profit!
They say you get a free trial, so I was leaving for Costa Rica for a week, as soon as I got back I cancelled the free trial. They questioned why on the app and I stated it was only needed temporarily. Well, 3 weeks later they charged me for 3 camera monitoring. My cameras are unplugged and I cancelled it. This is not the first time they did this and they don't give refunds, I disputed the charge with my Credit Card company so we'll see. I love the cameras but this bull$h1t is wrong if not totally illegal.
